Gomez Pro Paint has refused to respond to our request of the exact paint code to match the paint. I've asked for it multiple times. Our house was painted in the inside prior to us moving in after purchase. We have had complaints as the work was completed. They came back several times to fix the issues. The biggest thing was because we made all our payments, they took their time to fix the defects. My husband initially wanted to repair holes or defects in the walls prior to the painting. The owner insured that they would do that as they worked. Some was done, most was not. We found that the painters didn't pull out the washer and dryer to paint. They didn't paint under the bar cabinet, found that by accident. I sit on the floor and looked up. The under stair doors weren't opened to finish painting, plus it had paint dripping. Our front door had different prior damage, they didn't sand it, they just decided to paint over it. Molding wasn't painted and the worker tells the boss a mop scratched the paint. The owner also said when we moved in, we damaged the front door paint. How, the paint was dry. When we needed defects fixed, they took their sweet time. Sometimes we would schedule and they just wouldn't show up. Once the van broke down. Next time, there was a marathon on our block. We are new to Las Vegas, Nevada. We didn't know about a marathon, nor did we pick the date. The painter tells his boss he couldn't get into our development. He didn't call us. We had to call the boss to find out where the painter was. We were able to get in and we also had another entry location. Then, we're told he already left and couldn't come back. They had disregard for our time. Since they were completely paid, this went into April 2024. The job began December 28, 2023. Now, the paint is peeling different places and they won't give the paint code used, so that we can match the correct color. We've been to Sherwin Williams Paints. Gomez Paints has an account with them and need the code to get the correct paint color. We've bought paint at Home Depot and it's not right paint match. Sherwin Williams paints doesn't show the code on the account to match the paint. We will have to hire someone else to re-paint so we can paint all the doors in the house. They are unprofessional and could have done a better job. I also don't think we were given quality painters. They went through several painters. One was fired on the first day of painting. Their supervising painter was not good on detail. If he was, we wouldn't have had so many complaints. He also would get on his phone, walk outside and talk mess about us. I'm very disappointed that they took my doors and didn't even have the courtesy to contact me when they were going to return them with the samples. So I had to call them to find out. When the doors were returned to me, they left them by the entrance. The gentleman didn't even put them back, even after I asked him. They did not trench the rocks like I was told they would do. 2) I had screens on the windows. They didn't cover some of the hooks and spray painted them. Let me open this review with you get what you paid for. I had the entire interior of my house painted, including the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. Their price is lower than most. But attention to detail is even lower. I'll be the first one to tell you that I am particular. I read reviews, looked at pictures of their work online. I want straight lines, no over spray, messes cleaned up and quality workmanship. I had so much that needed to be touched up, fixed and cleaned, 2 guys spent almost 8 hours at my house doing all this. The first debacle was they painted the vanity and hall cabinet the wrong color. Their owner claimed that my paint swatch was from Behr and they use a different brand so the name of the color is different in the other brand. I'm sorry, I didn't fall off the cabbage truck yesterday. You don't match color by the name. Also that same swatch was the color for the paint in the toilet room. When they took the cabinet doors, they took the swatch with them. I phoned the owner and told him that he needed to relay the color to the painters for the toilet room. Did that happen? No. I came home and it was painted white instead of green. I am the one who showed the painters the color from a picture of the swatch on my phone. Which then they had to redo so they rushed through it and slopped paint on the baseboards, light switch cover and lines looked like a 5 year old drew them. Since the vanity was painted wrong, it had to be redone. Which delayed my granite from being installed, costing me more time. I found that my walls had dust prior to painting. They don't clean that off. They just spray over it. So I had small clumps of rough paint that when you run your hand over, fall off and then have to be touched up. They don't remove outlet or light switch plates. They tape over them. Then when they pull the tape off, you can see the prior wall color. So then they have to touch that up and get paint all over the covers. If they just took the same amount of time to remove the covers vs taping, they would be father ahead. I found the clips that go on the blinds in the driveway. I found a pile of swept up dirt, cat toys, more clips for the blinds behind a cactus in my yard. They washed out their buckets or brushes in my tub and kitchen sink and left them a mess. They covered the can lights with paper, left the lights on, they were hot and it left burn marks on the can lights trim around the ceiling. My largest complaint had nothing to do with the painting. They took my entertainment center apart to move it and when they reassembled it, put screws in that were twice as long as the ones that came out of it. They were crooked and now poked through to the other side. It was taken back apart and repaired but this was how they were going to leave it if I hadn't noticed it. I could go on and on. I found more after they were paid and gone. In the bedroom they had covered the windows with plastic and then cut a hole to let air in. When they sprayed, overspray got on the screen. So now there is a white blob on the screen that looks like it's dusty. In the bathroom, I found paint from the vanity on the ceiling. In the shower on the inside of the shower head, they completely missed a 5 inch section of the wall with paint. Moral of this review... if you don't mind standing on top of them so they do things right, then it's worth it. If you don't have time or energy, hire someone else. Sure, it turned out ok but when you pay for a service, you expect it to be done correctly the first time. I was quoted 3...4 days max. With all the extra stuff that needed to be corrected it was 7. Honestly I wish I never found Gómez painting. Please please do not use them. They ruined my brand new flooring. They told my husband to contact our flooring people and we did when he got the bid he said the last time this happened it was $600. Now they are not taking any responsibility for it. They said they didn't do it. BS. After everyone of my contractors came in I checked my floors. Now let's talk about them painting the faces of my stairs. What a joke. They didn't prime them so the black chipped right off. They scrapped the black paint and left them unfinished. Oh now let's get to the painting part. DO NOT USE THEM. They got paint on the floors, did not cleaning up after themselves. The lines are horrible. They did not bother to patch holes under my island they just painted over them. Didn't paint the trim. They do not take off the baseboards or racks to paint nor do they pull down the fixtures. All my doors are chipping. I have all the text messages. They didn't even finish the job. I still have blue tape around my house and unfinished parts. I have all the pictures. Please please do not use them. They didn't even tell us they were done with our house except to get payment. I hired Gomez pro paint to paint my old white washed cabinets and bring them up-to-date. The process took three trips, and all of the workers arrived in the timeframe that I was given. There were a few bumps in the road, as is to be expected on pretty much any renovation project. Gomez came out and met with me personally, and went above and beyond to make sure I was more than satisfied when it was all said and done. They had my review removed for telling the truth with proof. This company is a scam and needs to be shut down. They came to my house and destroyed things in my house and left my house dirty. TIL this day it's still dirt in the cabinets from their doing. It's still paint on the floor til this day from their doing and my things are still broken. Their paint is cheap. My paint begin to crack right away. They broke my kitchen trashcan drawer, my toilet, destroyed my wall paper, broke my light switch cover and broke my bathroom drawers. This was an awfuk experience from the start. The dad was one of the workers and was caught on camera tossing paint into my grass. He knew he shouldn't of did it because he pointed out the camera to his worker and went behind my trampoline because he thought I wouldn't see. They also took my expensive blinds and put them on the dirty ground outside tilted against my wall (which caused them to bend). I contacted the owner, who didn't really seem too care. After that phone call, his dad came and told me that the ground isn't dirty and the blinds were fine. After that point I started noticing things here and there and when I would address it, I was told that it wasn't that big of a deal. The guys were putting spackling in big large amounta over tack holes and then not putting any texture over it, so it made my walls look bad. I told then to fix it and the owner told me" we aren't going to texture your entire walls. Which was absurd because I never asked them to , I only asked them to put texture over the spackling. Also, they cut a lot of corners and when they were addressed yet again by either myself or my husband, they got agitated. They ruined 3 sets of our blinds and tried to fix them. I told them as long as they bring them back how they were before that I was OK with it. But when some of the blinds were still bad, my husband put his foot down and that's when the worker said he was done; they still had out laundry room to finish and other touchups, but my husband wanted them gone. It's too much to go through but they got sloppy and their attention to detail was horrible. The owner just like his dad, didn't seem to care and even tried to downplay the fact that the work was starting to look sloppy, even with proof of pictures. I have never had such a terrible experience with a company before and the owner should be ashamed of this behavior. But as long as he is making money, I'm certain customer service is his least concern. read more

Use gomez painting........don't try to paint your cabinets yourself. I had the mid 2000s brown cabinets and wanted the modern look. Gomez came on time, took the cabinet doors off and too their shop. The prep crew came and sanded, primed and painted the cabinet frames, The finish is unbelievable excellent, they look like factory white cabinets. Their is no way you can get that finish with latex do it yourself paint. 1 cabinet door had an imperfection that I didn't see. They took the cabinet and made it perfect.
