This is not a cafe. There is no food. I went today at 4pm and she said you can sit outside: we don't serve food.

the place has a nice ambiance, on the patio anyway. the inside must have poor kitchen ventilation. the inside is hot, smoked out and smells like old/burnt cooking oil. (good indicator not to eat the food here btw. wink wink) oh, don't get the baklava unless you enjoy chewing on leather. also, y'all need to change the hours listed on your google/yelp pages. they say they close late but somehow close at 10p. oh.. and good luck trying to call this place to see what their hours actually are. the number seems to go to a cell phone, which doesn't ring and goes straight to voicemail. this place must be a hobby business. i can't imagine there are even enough customers to keep this place afloat, especially with its subpar operating standards. read more

He tried to validate his scam by saying they charge more per customer. Instead of scamming people into buying your falsely priced-microwaved food, you need to note it very clearly where customers can see your unfair scam practice before they purchase. The hookah here is extremely mediocre and the food is much worse. Beyond that, let's be hones, some people are not meant to own businesses. This is one of those people. I've been here a couple of times, but in my most recent visit the owner was very rude. My brother asked the waitress if we could switch to another table, which she said was not an issue at all. When we went to switch the owner began to rudely yell at him from his seat. I guess he didn't want to stop smoking to deal with his customers cordially and appropriately. Instead, he yelled from his chair that this table was reserved from "open to close." We promptly left after being treated with such disrespect. This is by far the best study spot i have ever been to. As much as i love starbucks its sometimes impossible to study there, just always too crowded and noisy. This place has the best seating, most comfortable couches and REALLLLLLY good smoothies, coffee and sweets! ALl for a very cheap price, and they don't force you do buy things, if you simply want to just go inside to study they don't mind it at all. This place has a very nice place to sit as you feel like you're in some gypsy den or something. They have decent hookah, but before you decide make sure what they have available. I've been here 3 times and all three times they were out of one item I've wanted. The good thing is they brought me a new hose every time. Literally a brand new plastic hose which was in a plastic wrap. Their smoothies were okay, nothing too memorable. But the one thing that really makes me wonder is why they close so early at night!? I got the lychee guava hookah with mint. And it was really good, and service was superb, really good with coals and the worker was very attentive and happy to help and answer any questions or needs. The hookah was good as well and enjoyed it a lot, i sat outside and even though it was cold outside with their heaters on it was just right and I stayed warm perfectly fine, I would definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone! I also got the hot tea pot and it was perfect for sharing and kept me warm too. Definitely satisfied, and they have great deals for the week days too. I came across this place when I was eating at the old Germany town. We came back to try it one night and it turned out to be pretty great. I've been to A LOT of hookah bars in my time and it is very easy to mess one up. But this place did not disappoint. On the inside it's a cafe, and they have a pretty big drink selection. And on the plus side, all of the drinks we were able to try came out tasting great. They brought them out hot and quick, and we didn't have any complaints about them. They put the hookah part on the outside to separate the 2 scenes. Not the best if you are trying to make those perfect smoke rings or tornados, but good enough. The brought the hookah out and the coals shortly after. They came by a couple times to check in on us and replace the coals. I love the service here. I've been here a few times now and it's been a relatively good vibe. It's a laid back and quiet environment which is nice for a hookah lounge for a change. Service is a little slow sometimes but always friendly and welcoming--upholds the Arab traditions of immense hospitality which I love. Our server was not very knowledgeable about the food items available, which is understandable, but it led us to receive a dish completely different than what we expected, and what was described on the menu. We brought up this misunderstanding to the manager, and he raised his voice at us and was rude to us! We definitely were surprised, and my girlfriend asked to leave immediately due to the treatment. This place is a little tricky to find if you're not familiar with the layout of Old World. It's also a little creepy at night when there aren't many people around, eeep! Ramaneh is directly across the street from Costco, situated right on Center Drive... you can see their outdoor patio from the street. I arrived at Ramaneh on a Friday night around 9pm and there was already a good number of people hanging out and smoking hookah on the outdoor patio. I'm not a fan of hookah lounges that are club like so this is already a plus in my book because Ramaneh is not like that at all. I also liked that they had a covered patio, and the air circulation was great. Most enclosed hookah places usually give me a headache when all the overwhelming artificial smells add up. They have a couple flat screen tvs and background music playing, but very low, so you can still have conversations with your company instead of having to tell over at each other. We were seated out on the patio in front of the tvs. The flavor we ended up trying was tropical peach, I didn't want anything too strong, sweet, or overwhelming so they recommended the peach and it was nice and subtle. Not too sweet with a hint of the peach. The lounge chairs are comfy with big plush pillows, there are also booths out on the patio as well. A couple tables inside (but nobody wanted to sit inside). They also have only one unisex restroom. The prices are extremely reasonable as well! read more

Above all, the atmosphere is classy. Very chill place to hang. Great coffee and excellent hookah. There's indoor and outdoor seating with heat lamps (smoking outside only). Conveniently located near all those pubs and eateries in Old World Village. My boyfriend was "extremely disappointed." I was disappointed. He says: "The ridiculous service, or lack there of, was borderline disrespectful. I had a sense as if I was bothering them in their household." We ordered two iced lattes and the service was friendly enough. I found it odd that the cashier/barista (owner's daughter?) asked us to pay at the end and asked us to sit down, but once she made us our drinks she didn't bring them out to the table but rather placed them on the counter and announced, "Here they are!" The place was really quiet and empty, and had a home feel (maybe TOO much of a home feel), so it was really easy to get work done since there was internet and no one talked to us. Still, it was uncomfortable. The owner, his wife and daughter/server just sat down and started having family dinner at the table next to us (by the way, all the tables look like dining room tables), complete with family gossip loud enough for us to hear, and bad enough for me not to repeat on Yelp. The other server seemed to be the younger teenage brother. The brother/sister banter that went on while the parents were out of sight was a bit odd and distracting. The kids just kinda lounged around on the couches as if they were in their living room. When the family gossip during their family dinner finally got to me, we decided to leave. There was no "thank you" on behalf of the establishment. In fact, no one checked on us at all or acknowledged our presence the whole time we were there after we ordered. The daughter even seemed a little annoyed that she had to get up from the middle of her dinner, in the middle of the drama she was describing, to cash us out. ?? Some suggestions we have for improvement: - Follow up with "How is your coffee?" What I love about Rmaneh is that it's a blend of a cafe to sit on your laptop and a hookah bar. It doesn't have that annoying club atmosphere that many cafe/hookah places try to emulate.
