I am so HAPPY this place opened in Eagle Mountain, UT. I very much like how there's a yummy Asian restaurant in EM now. Location is fantastic! Restaurant is nice and clean. The food is good. I will not say it's fantastic, but it is good food. I got one of the sushi burritos but requested no rice. Though the server was perplexed by the request, they were able to accommodate. As a customer, that made me very happy! Other things we ordered were calamari, wonton noodle soup (it's huge), a sushi roll, and a ramen. Calmari was just your average calamari. I recommend asking for a side of sweet chili sauce, aka sweet and sour sauce. Wonton noodle soup was huge! I like the portion. The wontons themselves were decent. I feel like the wrapper is too thick.

Seen all the hype. And I'm a self admitted sushi snob. I've been to just about every sushi place within reasonable driving distance. Tried Ramen Hero today. Went for the Tonkotsu, had to get a roll or two. Food was good. The Ramen, while not as hot as I felt it should have been, was very tasty. I'd even say it was a milder pork flavor than other places close by but not necessarily a bad thing. Still very good. The pork bun was simply pork and a bun: the pork was good and a generous amount! The sushi was good but the temps were on extreme ends: fridge cold fish on top, with hot tempura shrimp in the middle! I'll have to go back and try some other options. The only thing that was a little let down? The service needs some work. No welcome when walking in, no one came to our table for quite a while in an almost empty restaurant, no pleasantries just "ready to order?" No offer for drinks. Nothing. No one checked in at all during the meal either. Overall, the food was good and it's nice to have a decent ramen option close by! Will be back to try more of the sushi offerings.

This is only my second time ever having real ramen and my first time here. The service was very slow. When we first came in, there was this girl that pointed generally at several tables. When we asked her what table she was all confused. Then nobody came to our table for a long time. We talked with three different people on their staff and they were very nice but we couldn't understand hardly anything they were saying. Very broken English. The food itself was pretty good. Not amazing, but pretty good. The slow service and language barrier is making us not want to return here...proceed with caution.

My husband and I were counting down the days until this place opened! It's waddling, I mean walking, distance from our home. They have by far the best chasu of ramen restaurants in the area. The staff are very friendly, which keeps up the lovely customer base. I'm not sure we've ever gone when it isn't a little busy. You cannot go wrong with the Eagle Mountain Roll!

FINALLY they are open! Ever since we saw the sign, we've been eagerly waiting. I'm so glad there is a ramen place close to home now. We came during their grand opening weekend and it surpassed our expectations. We had to wait only 10 mins for a seat. It's not a big place, but it's cozy. It was definitely hot inside...but there was a lot of people. I was surprised at the selection of the menu. Had way more than I expected. We ordered the following: egg rolls, avocado roll, yellowtail nigiri, tonkotsu ramen and black tonkotsu ramen. Our food came out fast! Egg rolls were just mid. Nothing fancy. Avocado roll was good. We liked that there was more avocado than rice. Yellowtail was good - it even came on a cute boat. The rice for both the avocado roll and yellowtail were on the softer side but I rather have it soft than hard. Both ramens were delish!! Had great flavor, eggs were cooked perfectly, noodles had a good texture, and the toppings they included went perfect. There is also chili oil, chili powder and salt on the table already to add into the soup if needed. The table next to us ordered orange chicken and it looked sooo good! We will definitely be back to try more things and of course, get more ramen. Oh, and did I mention they are open on SUNDAYS?! They are also opening Boba Hero next door. Can't wait to try that too.

I'll start by saying that I'm willing to give them a second chance and append my review but for now, it stands at two stars. The food itself is pretty tasty. The pork bun is yummy but don't expect the super sweet bbq pork, this is more of a savory flavor. My husband's ramen was good. He enjoyed it. Unfortunately, my ramen is where they fell flat. I ordered the katsu ramen and it was delivered without the katsu chicken. So, I just have the noodles, broth, and an egg. Yikes. Hopefully this was a one time mistake and my next experience is better.

Big bowl of ramen lots of different meat options. Ramen has a lot of bean sprouts and came with plenty of meat. They had a ton of various entrees and sushi as well. I was surprised how much food they offered in the menu. I like that the location was close to my house and not too busy. Plenty of seating available.

My husband and I just completed a long travel and we wanted some ramen! We ordered the tonkotsu ramen and the spicy umi ramen! Both were delicious and were perfect during these chilly nights. We also ordered the Chow fun just to see what it was like, and it was good too! We tried two sushi rolls (hawaii roll & rainbow roll) and both were delicious too! We will be back again to try the thicker Beef Chow fun noodles! Their service was very quick and attentive, and the restaurant was also kept cleaned during our visit!

Great little spot and addition to eagle mountain. Whether you're in the mood for Mongolian beef, ramen, or sushi, they've got it covered.

My teenage daughter loves this place. This was my first visit to Ramen Hero, although my daughter brought me home a sushi roll last time she was out. It was delicious. I'm a bit of a cave man in the sense that I've only had ramen from a bag. Yep, the ones that keep you alive in college, which if you must know, I happen to love haha. So now you know how you should take my review. I'm pretty easy pleasy. I had the Chicken Katsu ramen because hey, it's Chicken Katsu. Love the stuff from Hawaiian places. It was delicious! The Texas Roll was amazing. I like all kinds if sushi, but the tempura ones are my favorites. So with a combined score of 5 stars (one from my daughter and the other from me) that's an average of 5 stars from us.

Dumpling ramen with curry base. I chose to exclude cilantro.

So good!!! I'm so happy to have a place like this in Eagle Mountain! Friendly service and a great variety of dishes. Can't wait to go back!

Ambiance 4/5 Cleanliness 4/5 Service 3/5 Food 2/5 Value 2/5 I was excited about a ramen place opening in Eagle Mountain. Making good ramen is hard to do and that means it's pass or fail for ramen fans like me. I ordered a spicy tonkatsu ramen. The tonkatsu had flavor but was tough. Decent broth but the noodles were a big let down--They were a bit firm and an almost spaghetti like texture. Spinach as a topping was unexpected and I would say jarring. The one thing Ramen Hero got way right was the egg. The yoke was perfect and the egg seemed to have been marinated in a Tare which many ramen places don't do for some disappointing reason. I also ordered an Eagle Mountain Sushi roll (how could I not?) and a dim sum appetizer that left me feeling somewhat unsatisfied with the flavors and quality. It was really busy tonight which I was really happy to see, but our new waitress seemed to have forgotten us. No drink refills and I had to flag someone down to bring us a check. We paid around $50 with a coupon for 1 appetizer, 1 sushi roll, and 2 ramen bowls. For around the same amount of dollars and a little further drive I admit there are better Ramen experiences in Utah county. Ramen hero seems to fall in the category of Asian inspired restaurants whose menu is the product of a generic Asian food supplier. These types of restaurants can be good but leave much to be desired when attempting legitimate cuisine like Ramen or Sushi. Sadly, I really can't recommend Ramen Hero. Like I said I'm a big ramen fan. When I go out for ramen, I'm looking for a quick fix of the good stuff. I'm looking for ramen that's better and faster than what I can make at home (and I make pretty decent homemade ramen), but you should try it at least once to support a local business and see if you like it. I hope Ramen Hero will stick around and be the ramen hero that the ramen fans in Eagle Mountain deserve.

First, entering we were greeted by the servers who were smiley and friendly. The restaurant is decent sized and pretty clean. We were a little confused why it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. We were only one of three groups that were eating there. I am gluten free so I'm use to not having a ton of options and usually have to stay away from most of the sauces used but, I was able to order a few roles that are gluten free both naturally and/or after asking to not add a sauce. I was pleased to know they treat gluten free orders very cautiously and carefully. The roles are a good size, the fish tasted fresh and the flavors were great. Aside from the extremely long wait, the food was decent so we wanted to give them a second chance. Our second visit was much better. Greeted kindly again once we entered and sat right away. Our server was attentive and speedy. Our food came at a much better timing and the quality was consistent with our first visit. The flame dragon roll comes on fire and gives the salmon a really defined smoked flavor. I really liked that the golden salmon roll had a citrus tone. The kill bill roll had good crunch with the coconut tempera shrimp and some spicy with the jalapeño and cilantro. I really like all of the deep fried rolls but this one was especially good because of the tiger shrimp.

When we…read moredid not receive our order through Yelp/GrubHub after over an hour (showed "still in process" online), they called us to let us know it was still there. I asked if I should run down to get it and they said yes, not realizing at the time that we ordered for delivery. I ran down to pick it up and they confirmed that it was supposed to be picked up and delivered to our hotel by GrubHub and apologized for it not being brought to us. They also confirmed that the order was READY at 8:41pm, but it was now 10:05pm! They said the sushi had been out for too long and would make us a whole new order, which was ready within 10 minutes, free of charge. My brain had not even processed that my husband ordered sushi and that sushi should always be kept cold, so I really appreciated them being upfront about it! I do not want to know how that would have gone later if my husband did eat the first order... I also appreciated the comfy chairs available while waiting for my order, as we had been driving for 8 hours that day and I was very sore and tired. The restaurant wasn't too loud and looked clean and well-kept from what I could see by the front door. Plenty of parking outside, although I did show up late at night while all the other stores/restaurants in the strip mall were closed. They were not packed at that time, but had a good number of people at tables spread out and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It was a nice atmosphere overall and if my children were not feral 99% of the time, I would have a sit-down meal here sometime! I also love that they are open till 10:30pm every night, which was a lifesaver for us! We got into town late on the Sunday after 4th of July, and most places were closed by 8pm, so it was great that they were open late. Our GrubHub driver showed up while I was waiting and said he had just received the order on his app and apologized for it taking so long, and would cancel it on his end so that I would get refunded. Although the waitress was hard to understand as she spoke very little English, she did find another waiter who was able to explain to me what was going on and they were very quick and polite to fix the issue. My katsu chicken was warm and crispy, just how it should be, and the white rice wasn't soggy or dry and crunchy. It was delicious and you get plenty for $12-ish. I also had enough chicken leftover for a complete meal the following day, which my very picky-eating son devoured! My husband's 2 orders of sushi rolls were perfectly made and delicious too, he said! If we ever come back through this area again on our next road trip (we are from Southern California), we will absolutely be stopping here again. I just wish that when Yelp/GrubHub refunded my order online they could have kept the tip for the staff; I didn't notice until after I got back to our hotel room Thank you so much Tamashi Ramen for excellent customer service and food!

It's like ordering fried rice, being asked what type of rice you want (white, brown, etc.), then getting charged extra for the rice. Really not a great experience. Update after owner's reply: While I appreciate the owner's reply and acknowledgement, it is still fundamentally misleading. Another perhaps more appropriate example is ordering wings then realizing that you're being charged separately for the flavor. Instead of lowering the price by the amount for each flavor, why not keep the same price and just make it clearer that there are options for the flavor of the soup base. I've been to plenty of other ramen restaurants that offer different flavors of soup base and don't charge separate for it.
