This place is fantastic! I love finding sushi menus that is in order of price and gives you full rolls for very low prices. Plus the rolls are unique, delicious and filling. The wings are wonderful, recommend. Loved the spicy edamame. No joke, best I've had. The sauce on it is unreal. The decor and style is cozy and cool. Great for groups. Service was what you want, everything taken care of but not in your face. Food came quick. Loved it.

Service and food was perfect! Fresh sushi makes the best sushi and everything was SO fresh and flavorful. Even the Miso was packed with flavor. Once we got our food, we were asked by our waitress AND the sushi chefs if our food was good. Will be coming back here again. Best sushi I've had in a while and very fair prices.

One of our favorite sushi places in Utah county! The staff is so nice and remembers us when we come in, which makes our visits always feel more special. We also love the mural they have. As for the food, we've tried just about every appetizer and they're all amazing. Their fish is so fresh and the presentation is beautiful! The passion fruit hamachi in particular is a must. The rolls are also delicious. Honestly, you really can't go wrong.

I loved the selection here! The food was so good and there were so many options. If you are a sushi lover I would recommend trying Saida out. The food came out fast after we ordered and our waiter was so nice. We also loved that there were large tables for big groups.

My party and I were expecting a lot better food from this place's such a high rating...the food was very mid. Definitely nothing to write home about. I would not recommend anyone coming here. The servers and ambiance are nice, but the food is just not up to par. 4/10

I ordered through Uber Eats after a long day at work. This is my first time here in Utah. I ordered the Rocky Roll, Rocket Shrimps, Mussel Shots, and Toro Nigiri. As a toro lover, the toro was average. The spicy tuna in the Rocky Roll was surprisingly very flavorful and the little lime slices were a nice touch. The service was phenomenal. They gave me a side of ponzu. Typically when I ask for it places usually forget or don't add it. I will be back to try some pho.

This is my go to place. You have to splurge once in a while and if this is your time, ask for Omakase ( Chief's Choice) If you love sushi, you won't be disappointed. Tell them Morian sent you. They will know what you want, only the best off menu luxury experience.

Great service! I go the Play Boy roll, jalapeño peppers, and the Hong Kong roll. The Play Boy roll was refreshing, the jalapeño peppers are crunchy and just the perfect balance, Hong Kong was my favorite.

Another awesome night at Saida. We got sushi last time so we opted for pho this time. Amazing! The portion is enough to feed a small family and the broth is divine. We also started with the spring rolls which I would order for my entree, they were so good. The decor and ambiance is also so cool. Top it off with amazing servers and chefs and you're guaranteed a great night!

Great sushi and quality Pho. Good prices too. Definitely would come back and would recommend. The staff was great and very helpful with suggestions. Quick service on the food as well.

This was a complete surprise. Everything about this place was great. I love the decor and the atmosphere - the walls are all painted by a local artist and are unique with a real nod to tradition. This is the theme of the restaurant - everything here is as expected - except with their own unique twist. Loved every dish. Absolutely coming back.

Godzilla in the middle and slew of others

We started with some fresh Red Snapper fresh from Japan - it melted in the mouth! We also had some bluefin Tuna fresh from Hawaii that was very well prepared. All the rolls were very delicately prepared and were solid! Godzilla is so well balanced! Tried a bunch of stuff, all good! Solid spot!

I love their pho concept. The soup and meat comes in a nice bowl with a lid. The noodles and veggies came on the side. Sushi was delicious! Lots of great options. Good service, ambiance and decor.

So many different ways to experience it! The cream cheese wontons were also a hit. The appetizers are included in the all you can eat price, so try them! The big downside to Mr. Shabu is that it's so expensive. I would come back all the time if it weren't for the price. You have to do "all-you-can-eat" for the hot pots, and it costs over $30 per person. Because of that, I probably won't return anytime soon and it makes me very sad.

The concept is genuinely fun, and it's probably the biggest reason to visit. Every plate costs the same ($3.59), making it easy to try a variety of items without worrying about different prices. The restaurant is clean, the seating is comfortable, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the experience. We tried most of the sushi rolls that came by, and the biggest issue was the rice. Since sushi is my favorite food, I pay close attention to the quality of the rice, and this was by far the weakest part of the meal. It was overly soft, sticky, and overcooked, giving many of the rolls an unpleasant texture. The fish itself tasted fresh, which I appreciated, but the rice overpowered the entire experience. We also ordered the takoyaki, and it was disappointing. The outside was thick, while the inside felt undercooked and almost mushy. The amount of octopus was reasonable, but the texture kept us from enjoying it. For dessert, we tried the Nutella fried takoyaki. The ice cream and whipped cream were perfectly fine, but the fried dough itself was thick and dry inside. It wasn't a bad dessert, but it wasn't memorable either. Overall, I think Tsubame is worth visiting once for the experience. Watching the sushi rotate around the restaurant is fun, especially if you've never been to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant before. However, if you're looking for outstanding sushi, there are much better options in Utah. The concept is excellent, the service is good, and the fish seemed fresh, but the quality of the rice and some of the hot dishes kept us from wanting to come back. If you're going for the experience, you'll probably have a good time. If you're going primarily for great sushi, you may leave disappointed.

Prices run a little higher than at typical sushi restaurants, but the generous portions make it feel like good value. The menu had a lot of options. There were plenty of maki rolls, appetizers, teriyaki, bento boxes, noodle dishes, and even non-traditional items like Thai peanut stir fry, seafood tempura, coconut crusted halibut, miso glazed salmon, and a 10-ounce Samurai NY strip steak. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have tamago, though. I only tried the sushi and sashimi. The miso soup was savory and loaded with tofu, green onions, and nori, though it wasn't quite hot enough. The sushi and sashimi slices were substantial, which justified the price premium. The fish was firm and succulent, and the rice was well prepared. The menu is priced à la carte, giving you flexibility to order exactly what you want. I'd recommend The Happy Sumo for quality sushi in a stylish setting with a broad menu.
