I think I would give a solid 3.5 stars but went with 4 because we are pretty spoiled with ramen quality at home. So I am trying not to compare because of the amazing quality at home. We stopped in as we were staying at a nearby hotel. We ordered to go. The ordering process was really easy online & great descriptions & picture. It was just starting to get busy for dinner but our order was ready earlier than we expected. Staff was nice. Easy to get in & out. The ramen broth wasn't as rich as we like but still pretty tasty. We tried the chicken ramen, the tonkotsu, chicken yuzu. The chicken yuzu was unique & good but I would probably go tonkotsu next time. The surprise was the ramen kids meal. It came with ramen, chicken & rice, crispy chicken (which was above average), veggies, candy, and fries. So much food and we all kind of wished we could've ordered off the kids meal. I've been to this place many times but never had an experience like this... I found feathers in my fried chicken, and the waitress laughed it off. She gave us a new batch but with one less piece of chicken and didn't offer to take the chicken off our bill. I'd expect better quality food considering how expensive it is. JINYA seems to have changed up their menu recently. I've historically gone to the Murray location but have dropped by this Lehi location more recently given my office is nearby. I was looking forward to coming and getting my traditional poke bowl but was super disappointed they seem to have taken it off the menu. It was one of my faves so it was a bummer I can't get a good poke here anymore. I opted for the sushi substitution they added to the menu, it was fine all around but doesn't fill the shoes of the poke bowl. All the bowl options seem to have changed too, the pork chasu had A LOT of mushrooms in the dish. I like mushrooms and enjoy them quite a bit but I don't necessarily love them to take over and this one was borderline taking over just a a tad. Service and ambiance was great, I'm just beyond bummed they changed their menu. It used to be one of my fave places because I could go and get anything I felt like but now I have to opt for ramen next time. read more

I came for ramen but ended up choosing something else since they offer lots of variety other than Ramen. Although some of ramen options look really unique and tasty. ImThe seaweed salsa has a nice presentation piled on top of mixed greens. The tacos were smaller than I expected. They should rename it mini tacos instead. The Brussels sprouts tempura was the best choice I that picked. They were yummy and had a unique texture when you bite into it. So delicious, and I highly recommend this dish. The Jinya bun has well seasoned Chashu pork inside that makes its great flavoring. The restaurant chain has many locations throughout the US. A really fun unique place. As far as appetizers go, we loved the spicy tuna with crispy rice and dumplings. These apps were tasty however they were pretty small and expensive especially for how small they were. For an entree we shared the Spicy Umami Miso and it was delish! I LOVE a good bowl of ramen and Jinya is my go to spot in Utah. I know they're a franchise and I keep trying to find hole in the wall or mom and pop shops that will be better but so far they haven't lived up to the bar set by Jinya. I judge ramen on four criteria: Broth Chashu pork Seasoned egg Noodles Jinya consistently hits the mark on all of them. My favorite is the spicy umami miso, a little spice, deep rich broth, that umami miso salty goodness. Chashu pork is soft and tender, charred on the outside, cooked to perfection The egg seems to be the hardest for restaurants to nail, or just a sign of laziness. Most places they hard boil them, the yolk should be jelly like, a little runny, the white should not be white whatsoever, it should be soaked in the sauce and brown, again they hit the mark on this Noodles should have some chew, a good thickness and texture. I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, service is a big part of the experience and the fact that my estimated 30 minute wait was actually over an hour, killed the whole vibe. The food is fine. I mean, it's noodles, it ain't LA or NYC we're talking about here. But for Lehi, it was good, I'll give it that. Problem is the host, Wei (who was very nice btw) all but admitted that they were seating all parties of 4 and under before my party of 5 because they "move faster". He conceded that the extended wait was his fault and was apologetic, I did appreciate that. They waived an appetizer. That's a nice gesture, of course. But it has nothing to do with price. It's about the experience. We showed up at 7:30 and didn't get seated til almost 9. My kids were tired and the $$11 appetizer didn't change the experience already had. Figure out how to accommodate more than four people. OR, be honest about your wait time. An hour would have been fine, we could have gone somewhere else or to run and errand. Might be the best ramen spot I've had in Utah thus far! This location was nice and spacious and the interior was nicely decorated with a modern feel to it. It's spacious with plenty of seating as well as a bar. I was quite surprised by the variety in their menu. They have a whole vegan section in the menu which you don't really see too often. I ordered the jinya tonkotsu black which on first impression was good. Maybe bc ive eaten a lot of black tonkotsu ramens, I felt like jinya's was lacking a bit of that char black garlic oil flavor. I did like that there was a lot of ingredients in the bowl and most importantly it was a full marinated egg. A lot of ramen spots only do half an egg or the egg isn't very flavorful, but Jinya's egg was probably my favorite part of the ramen! The broth is creamy and rich, not super heavy or salty as well. We came here for date night and it did not disappoint. We hopped on the waitlist while we drove over from Saratoga springs and they sat us right on time. My husband ordered the ginger tea and the chefs special ramen "red garnet." I had the tonkotsu original 2010. The ramens were both super flavorful, rich, and filling. My husband and I agreed that his was just a little bit yummier than the tonkotsu. It wasn't AS rich so it was a bit easier to eat. Their thick noodles are really yummy! We also ordered their corn tempura which I think I heard our waiter say was a new addition and temporary. This was the only thing that missed the mark. The tempura sauce was good but the corn tempura itself was extremely lacking in flavor. We wouldn't order it again but it's not worth knocking off stars for because everything else was SO GOOD. I haven't eaten at their other location or locations, but I have eaten at this location 5+ times. Highly recommended . I would personally recommend the JINYA Tonkotsu Black. I've had several of of their dishes and Ramen and think this is the one that I gravitate to over and over and over. The staff is always friendly and I have been always seated very quickly as well. We came on a Saturday about 6pm and our party of four was seated right away. The restaurant is small on the inside and the tables are really close together. We are glad we came when we did because after we got seated, people started coming in and they had a wait. Our server was very kind and offered great recommendations, given it was our first time. We started with the pork gyoza and it was great. The gyoza sauce definitely complimented it well and added a nice subtle spice. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen, mild, and added fresh garlic and an egg. I also added some of the gyoza sauce, seasoning sauce, and hot sauce that was provided on the table for more flavor. The ramen also came with two pieces of chicken. The ramen was probably the best I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious and so flavorful. I loved the broth and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The egg was a nice, and much needed, addition for flavor and texture. Next time, I would get medium spice as the mild wasn't even spicy at all, despite being called spicy chicken ramen. Great experience, great service, and amazing food. Will definitely be back, often! I've been to the Murray location and am so excited to have one in Lehi. This is a small restaurant, so you might have to wait on the weekends for a table. The staff are attentive and will explain anything on the menu. This is my favorite place for ramen. No place in this are even comes close. The original ramen is such a great dish. Stopped for lunch with the family. First time I had been here, but not for the family. We beat the lunch crowd by about 20 minutes, so we got seated right away. Service was quick. The young man who was our waiter was attentive and made sure we were doing ok. The only faux pas were my ramen noodles, I ordered the thicker ones and got the thin ones. Not a big deal. Chicken was very crispy, tasty and served very hot. Ramen for all was very good. I came here on a Monday after a long day of traveling from Austin. We decided on Jinya ramen since there's one in Austin and we're starving to death. It's a bit different than the Jinya Ramen in Austin but that's to be expected due to the location difference. Luckily it's not as busy and we were seated right away. There were maybe only two cocktails on the menu but the food menu seems pretty similar. The jinya tonkatsu ramen always lives up to its reputation and the takoyaki was absolutely amazing! I've never had takoyaki prepared this way with the creamy egg salad as garnish but the egg salad garnish was so yummy!!! I had been meaning to go to Jinya in both Murray (when I worked in the clinic near Fashion Place) and in Sugarhouse (after it opened, closer to where I live ), but I never made it out there. And then the Lehi location opened up recently, and is close to where I work, so some girlfriends and I went out for lunch last week and I was not disappointed. It was busy, but we were lucky to get a able as it was just early enough before more people started filing in. I enjoyed the aesthetic of the art and decor, and the dining ware added a sharp pop of color. I didn't get Ramen this time, but a chicken chashu rice bowl and some plum green tea looked good to me this time. The location is new in Lehi, it's clean, somewhat spacious, and the food is still delicious as ever. Parking is a little limited in the actual plaza it's located in. I'm a fan of the location in Murray, but the space is TINY and very cramped. When I walked into the Lehi location, I was surprised to see the open concept. It's been awhile since I've been to Jinya, but I love the spicy tonkatsu broth they have. I usually get a medium, but I decided to be braver and get the SPICY one. It wasn't too bad, but I did notice that I slowed down in eating my food. My usual add-ons are corn and a side of noodles (I like extra noodles). Unforunately, I forgot to take a picture. Takoyaki is always good. I love the creamy egg they have at the bottom of the plate too! The mango lemonade was something new and I enjoyed the real pieces of mango in it. The service was good. They did forget my extra noodles, so I had to remind them, but that was no problem at all. The Lehi area is expanding so much, I'm excited to see what else opens around here. I love having Jinya nearby, so I don't have to drive all the way to Murray to enjoy a nice bowl of ramen. read more
