This place is a small Mexican place owned by a lady named Martha. She was nice. The salsa was nice, she was able to do my plate without beans. I mostly liked this place. However, the guacamole was not good. Also , she suggested my wife get shredded chicken enchillada, and when it came there was no chicken in it! I hate to be super picky about a little mom and pop place like this, but there were two issues with the meal. I usually will eat at a place 3 times before I write a reviews, but this place gets one after 2. Tonight is Burrito night (Mon, Wed & Fri) where they have all Burritos for $4. I've seen Taco nights everywhere but never a Burrito one. I had the ground beef wet. It was tasty, pretty damn big, meat was juicy and flavorful. Rice was fluffy and had a nice texture to it. The red sauce was fairly thick and had a good flavor. The other night I had 2 tacos, 1 shredded beef and one ground beef. While they were a bit on a the small side, I enjoyed them. Shredded beef was pretty good, but the ground beef was OMGWTF!!! tasty. I swear I started speaking Hispaniola after I took the 1st bite. And the chips ans salsa were both good. The chips were pretty thin and real crunchy with a nice amount of salt. The salsa was fresh and had a decent mild kick to it. They have a big menu, Shrimp Burritos, Crab Enchiladas. Oh yeah I had 1 1/2 of their Chicken Taquitos, pretty damn tasty. They weren't over fried and the tortillas were very thin and tasted super fresh. And they were absolutely stuffed full of tender delicious chicken. If I could I'd give this place 4 1/2 stars, they have breakfast burritos and regular eggs, bacon & pancakes breakfast too. Also have burgers, I cannot comment on them but if they're as good as the Mexican food I've had I'd definitely try one. They have a few other American items on the menu so you can go with any idiotic friends you might have that don't like Mexican food. They also have taco night on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and sell Tamales year round. I plan to go back this week and try the "Chilly Fries" yes that's how it's spelled on the menu lol. read more

Monday, Wednesday and Friday it is Burrito Day! 3.50 plus .50 cents for a wet burrito. I get the shredded beef burrito wet everytime. It only costs 4.50 plus tip. it is the best Shredded Beef Burrito that I have ever had in my life. The enchilada sauce is unbelievable and they give you one of those oval plates & the burrito nearly covers the plate. Tuesdays and Thursday's are the taco days & they are really good too. Don't forget the Chips and Salsa. The Salsa has won numerous awards and it should have. It is the Bomb! You will want to order some for home... I never think twice about stopping by when I am in the area. And Lily the waitress knows my order by heart. I do not even have to order anymore I just say "the same please". What a great hidden gem! We stumbled upon this place for lunch, and boy are we glad we did. The restaurant is a quaint little place, the staff is friendly, and the food was delicious! We ordered a pastor burrito and a taco & enchilada combo. The pastor was delicious! And the taco and enchilada were super yummy too. The rice, beans, chips, and salsa were just the perfect icing on the cake. It was pretty reasonably priced for two full meals, sodas, and chips and salsa. Very disappointed and waste of $30!! I would not recommend the tamales here. It falls apart and doesn't even stay together. Not sure how old these have been frozen for but it was horrible. Tamales are very crumbly. And waiting for them I got there early they didn't even offer water nor chips/salsa. Poor hospitality. read more

I went to this place once for lunch. I got the ground beef tacos with a side of rice and my girlfriend got the Mexican pizza. This place was one of those places where you ask yourself why you've never been here before. It's good! I had to use the little girls room, and as I walked through the eerie mortuary-esque hallway, to get to the closet sized, sewage horror that is the bathroom, I realized there was no soap.... I'm reading the menu and nothing really stands out, (for those prices I could have gone to Chipotle or super Mex) so I order chicken enchiladas ($8.75) which comes with a small espresso cup of 'albondiga' caldo. It was mediocre at best. I got green and red chile 'sauce' that came with enchiladas, the chicken was more the color of old beef and the taste of 2 day old chicken. Oh yeah, I picked out some good 'ol cartilage from my 'food' too. Yum. I also ordered a carnita taco which had the taste of yesterdays fridge allllll over it. The beans were ok. Dry. The rice, ehhh. I've had worse. My boyfriend ordered espresso sized menudo and 2 carne asada tacos. He says menudo was good. Tacos, not so much. He thought we should have gone to Fridays for what we paid at ramiros, $30+ tip to the super nice waitress. Final thought: I wish 'ramiro' was there when we went. There is NO OTHER MEXICAN PLACE TO EAT, we go here often.....and I have had many friends leave there regular place of Mexican food and become regulars here too.... The Tacos are the best, its what I usually get... Sometimes I switch it up and throw off the waitress....who knows just what me and my family love. Martha and Ramiro are the kindest....and Lilly is a added bonus!! The Salsa is the best, anyone who tries it will tell you that and the chips are always fresh made!
