First time we've had a terrible experience after many years of patronage to Ramiro's in Buckeye. It's always been good, except today/ Terrible customer service. Rude, unfriendly employee. The restaurant had one customer inside, one vehicle ahead of us in the drive through, but an otherwise empty parking lot at 5 pm on Friday. I'm not sure why we were treated this way. Giving our order: Any thing else, anything else? Was the reply. After each item ordered. At the window: Asked any salsa? A red & green please. Window rapidly shut. Then window opens receiving our food and me saying thank you, the drive-thru window was rapidly closed on us again before I could even get the whole sentence out. Order was 5 rolled tacos (taquitos) with carne asada, side of rice and beans and a carne asada burrito. Basic customer service isn't that difficult. read more

The service has gone down hill, the food has been less and less good. They always mess up the order, you ask for no pico de gallo, they add what seems like extra. Today I ordered a quesabirra taco, and I was thinking it'd be more like Cali tacos who's are phenomenal, but this one is dry, there no console, doesn't even look like Birria but instead looks like carnitas. I'm honestly sad with the disappointment that I'm feeling today. The inside booths are terribly dirty. I will not come back here again. Just ate here for maybe the 3rd or 4th time since we moved to Buckeye, and every time it's been amazing. I really fancied a taco salad after trying one at El Pollo Loco yesterday. That one was stale, cold, and dreadful. This one was so fresh, the shell was still warm. Chicken was nice, and everything went together so well. Really delish. Hubby had the chimichanga, as usual. For once we got food from a drive thru Mexican restuarant and it wasn't greasy or hurt our tummy. Food was pretty good. Got tacos, burritos, chicken quesadillas and all was delicious. They were open till 10pm, prices were great and food was worth it. Will be eating here again. read more

Large portions, fresh tasting shrimp. The drive-through is slow, but the food is made fresh to order. Be sure to get some salsa because the enchilada sauce is quite bland. They have a mild sauce and a spicier sauce. read more

Food is ok. Service is not! I can't say it enough check your order! They constantly get it wrong. When you get home and see your missing part of your order and call they act like it's an inconvenience for them. Maybe if they put their phones down and did their job I wouldn't be waiting an hour going back and forth correcting a mistake they made. I've been eating at Ramiro's for over 2 years now I think and it had always been my go to place for lunch since I work just down the street. For some reason this month when I've gone back, the food tastes a little different than it used to. I've had a few disappointments the times I've gone lately, getting short changed, or wrong orders, etc. But I think today was the last time I'll be going there. Unfortunately I found a hair in my chicken quesadilla and that did it for me. I'm pretty bummed out because I used to love this place. My co worker told me today that it appears there has been a change in management or something so that may explain the change in customer service. I'm sad that I'll have to find a new favorite place for lunch. read more

I've been a purveyor of Romero's restaurant for many years all the way back to my high school years. And their food can sometime be so delectable and other times be a complete train wreck. I think this is due to the customer service at the place and or the change in Cooks. My family loves their carne asada fries, and they're always providing a generous portion no skimping involved. With that being said you run the risk of having your order completely wrong, being accidentally overcharged for something that you didn't want, and or being discriminated against for not being the proper type of person ordering food from the restaurant. That last part only happened a couple times since the 20-year stint of going to this restaurant this is why I continue to either. But overall, I would still recommend you try this place if you enjoy flavorful Mexican food. read more

Drive through took a long time, they got my order wrong so I parked and walked inside. They acted as if it was my fault and started yelling at the kitchen in Spanish. They quickly remade my order in half the time I spent sitting in front of the drive through. I felt unwelcomed the whole time as they made me feel like I did something wrong, they continued to argue about the food until I walked back out the door. I got carne asada fries, they were very good. The fries were crispy and tasted good, the ingredients were fresh, the carne asada wasn't seasoned great but tasted ok. I was really craving chilaquiles but can't seem to find any in this small town...went to Ramiro's and was going to settle for one of their amazing burritos BUT then I took a chance and asked if they had chilaquiles. We yelped this restaurant and decided to give it a try. we both had the Angus Carne Asada burrito meals. This was a huge and very tasty burrito and I especially liked the beans and rice too. Drinks came with the meal and for 20.00 I'm betting we will return. The waitress/cashier was very friendly and helpful in our decision making. read more

The workers are VERY nice. We go here a couple of times a month. My favorite are the carne asada mini tacos, but I've had very good quesadillas, chips, salsa, and guacamole as well. Prices are reasonable and food comes out quickly. read more
