Saw a great review on tik tok and wanted to try, food looked awesome, but left rather disappointed. On the bright side, it has ample seating, lovely urban Mexican aesthetic, and friendly staff. If you are Mexican, the food isn't bad but really has no flavor. Husband and I split the carne asada and fish tacos. The carne asada was cooked alright (a little over but not a deal breaker) but it just didn't have much seasoning. You really need the guac and jalapeño to shine and bring the flavor profile. The rice and beans are good. Calabacitas fine but also could be seasoned a little more. Also important to note the calabacitas are not creamy like the traditional side dish in case that matters to you. Fish tacos- grilled. Plenty of fish in the taco for an adequate portion. Good, nothing that stood out. Could've benefited from slightly more seasoning but overall no complaints. Comes with a splice of avocado, small portion of l/t/o on the side if you choose to top with this (not a traditional slaw). Margarita was good!

Met friends for dinner at Casa Ramos. It was the first time for all of us. I loved the decor and ambiance. We were seated right away, and chips and salsa were brought to our table almost immediately. The chips were warm and really good. The salsa was just ok, I've had better. I ordered the lavender margarita, which was delicious. I don't normally order margaritas but would definitely order the lavender margarita again. For dinner, I had the green enchiladas with rice and calabasitas. The enchiladas were very tasty. I enjoyed the rice, but the calabasitas were a bit overcooked. The service was amazing. Our server checked on us often and was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Casa Ramos. I enjoyed my experience and can't wait to go back.

We were so excited to see this place reopen. My hubby grew up near here and wanted to stop and check it out. Upon entering, it is extremely inviting. We loved the decor and how simple yet tasteful it was. Looked great! He ordered the carne asada plate and o got the flautas de papa. He enjoyed his. The meat was good and tender. Very tasty. I had the flautas and I loved how simple they were. They were in blue corn tortillas which is a plus for me. I recommend trying it. Definitely was great.

The fajitas. Slightly charred. Hardly any flavor. Total bummer

Not impressed.... No children's menu Revamped and more expensive menu with lots of my favorites missing You have to pay for chips and salsa (good Mexican food restaurants never do this) I was so excited to visit casa Ramos again. I'm totally let down. No refills offered -- we sat with empty drinks practically our whole visit We asked for a little side plate. It never came We ordered more chips and salsa but they never came. Our waitress took our order, other people brought it out---we didn't see her again until we were done eating I will never visit this place again. What a completely dissatisfying visit.

I typically struggle to enjoy Mexican food but this place is fantastic. The chicken fajita salad is delicious, colorful, and not too spicy. The service is efficient and attentive. The decor and building design is rustic, modern, and welcoming. My whole family enjoyed the experience.

The service is great, it's a family affair for sure. Mom seated us, daughter was answering the phone, and son was cooking. I love the mom and pops vibe at a higher end style of Mexican restaurant. The food was great, the thing that stood out the most to me was the Red Snapper! The tacos and the fajitas were great! I loved the cheese crisp, reminded me of a pizza but better because I love crispy. Overall the quality was on point and flavors were Jalisco style.

I celebrated a birthday here, had a great experience. Delicious food and margaritas were fantastic. Recommend the spicy margarita. Service was a little slow but it was a Friday night and it was pretty busy. Plus we had a large party. Overall great! We will be back very soon!

Highly recommend this restaurant. We had great service by our waiter Luis L and his assistants. Inside was clean and new. The only negative for the whole experience is that they have polished concrete floors, so it was a little noisy. The food was amazing. We had chips and salsa to start, Cheese crisp, chicken fajitas and creamy chicken enchiladas. Definitely will be returning!!

We had ours hosted by the (co?)founder which was very insightful to their process and included 4 tastings of vodka (nice and clear), gin (very aromatic in a pleasant way), bourbon, and rye whiskey plus a surprise pickle vodka. My go-to are whiskey and bourbon, but all proved to be delicious and any would make for a nice gift. Since we had been drinking previously to our visit, we didn't have room and time to have a drink at the bar, but certainly coming back looking at their cocktail menu online! The main area is a cocktail bar around a horseshoe, an homage to the guiding as it used to be a horse barn if I remember correctly. It gives speakeasy vibes with its dim lights, but certainly up on my list to come back and recommend to others!

The light is very dim, but you can see the central bar, the almost decorative stills behind glass in the back, and many booths and seating areas You order your drinks at the bar. They have a list of signature and classic options using spirits distilled at the whiskey as well as other spirits. Each cocktail is a work of art. The artisanal elixirs are made to order right in front of you at the bar. This means they are quality drinks, but it also means they take slightly longer because they're made with care... they also might cost you a bit money The staff are friendly. We spoke to a couple about the cocktails, the distillery, eating options in the area, etc The drinks are solid. They aren't the heaviest of pours or too strong. Each cocktail has specific drink rate, garnishes, etc that will accompany it The distillery has a prime location, smack dab in the middle of the downtown Mesa. You can find restaurants, bars, shops, and even a place where you can both play pinball and shop for antiques or a spot where you can eat Cronuts while playing Super Mario Kart (Outcast) Some tips: Tell the bartender what you enjoy drinking and let them guide you towards a selection They offer tours on Saturdays (1hr in length) where you can learn more about the distilling process and try samples They have a couple clarified cocktails that were truly unique and refreshing. If you're into that They are open 7 days a week but their hours vary depending on the day Cheers!!

I've been here a bunch of times over the years. Giving 4 stars simply due a mix of experiences, good and meh. Most recently we sat at the cocktail bar ordered a beer & whiskey sour. Drinks came quickly but then it took a while for anyone to ask if we wanted food (we originally intended to). I think what happened is that our original bartender may have gone on break, while a new person coming on shift was busy doing things and didn't know to check with us since we already had drinks in front of us. It wasn't a major issue. It just created a long gap which gave us the option to decide to go elsewhere. We also noticed the beer we ordered was flat and we eventually let the new bartender know. She offered to get us a pint of something else but we had decided today wasn't our day at 12 West and move on. Typically beers are great, cocktails are solid, and food is good too. Ambiance (3.5/5): Pedal Haus has a nice patio when the weather cooperates (it was summer when I stopped by so it was a no-go), so we ended up sitting inside. It's not a huge brewery, with some high tops and seating at the bar. We sat at the bar. Pretty much your typical brewery vibe... chill. Service (4.5/5): Friendly, attentive, and efficient service. Exactly what I look for. A job well done. Food (N/A): We ate prior, so we were on a liquid diet. Drinks (4/5): I love going to breweries to have a flight so I can try a nice variety of their beers. Which is exactly what I did beer. A good number of their beers are IPAs or dark beers which aren't my style. Luckily, there were still four beers that were right up my alley for a flight... typically I have a greater selection of brews that interest me. All good though because the brews I had were tasty. We also shared a margarita beer which was cool. Always fun when a brewery has liquor too. Phoenix has a lot of cool breweries. I'm glad I got to check this one out!
