Our senior women's group ftom Annapolis wanted to plan a lunch on the Eastern Shore side. We met yesterday at Ram's Head Shore House at 12:30. There were nine in our party, and we needed separate checks. They were very accommodating, and they gave us the private room in back. We had a great lunch. We are local and drove by this place for 5 years! We were looking for a breakfast place and rams head showed up. We always thought is was a bar but they actually have a full dining room. Sunday football season burgers are a great deal! Lots of TV screens to watch multiple games. Food was excellent and burgers are 1/2 price on Sunday with a pile of fries. Homemade onion rings paired well. House IPA is good. Service was spot on. Definitely on our Kent Island GOTO list. read more

First time going. I went to the sports bar side. Walked into dining room which is separate. Clean, very nice staff. Ate at bar during Monday Night Football. Good crowd decent prices. Was in the area and decided to stop here for dinner. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and there was a live band performing! I got the crab tots which were very delicious, and the mussels as my main. The mussels were mostly delicious, but there were a few closed mussels and a few of them tasted a bit funky. Checking out a local restaurant for the first time. Menu is very respectable giving diners plenty of options. My wife ordered the Rockfish special while I opted for the Mac and cheese with blackened chicken. The Rams Head is also famous for craft beer. I ordered the flight which featured 6 local crafts plus two bonus seasonal options all for $7! The food was very good! The server was friendly and efficient! I'll be back! read more

Late night driving back from Bethany Beach and stopped at one of the only non fast food places that was still serving food. We had the pizza which was okay, but honestly it was hot and cheesy, so you can't go wrong. The 5 stars is for the amazing staff. Incredibly friendly and warm from greeting until we left. We mentioned that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday and they gave her an ice cream with a candle and the whole place sang happy birthday to her! Such a nice and unexpected gesture. Lobster Night in Kent Island. Rams Head never disappoints on Monday's. This night is pretty popular and always draws a crowd. Be warned that reserving your lobster ahead of time is wise. I've gone before only to be told they ran out. This meal costs a mere 19.95 and includes a 1.5 pound lobster, baked potato, salad ...garden or caesar your choice. The manager Scott is always pleasant and has even helped us out and provided us bibs! The wait staff is very attentive and always helpful. 6.12.22 - Went for breakfast on Sunday morning. Got seated, but waitress never showed up. After about 15 minutes went looking for waitress. A waitress finally showed up and took our order, but didn't ask if we wanted coffee, etc. My wife went and requested silverware and coffee. At least 3 different parties seated near us showed up after us and they got waited on and got their meals. I finally went to the wait staff and told her that we were leaving. We spent an hour there and never got our food. Apparently, our order was never placed. Being busy is never an excuse for any staff not being aware of any and all customers not being waited on in a timely manner, regardless of whether it's your table or not. We even talked to another party of 3 that waited longer than us and just finally decided to leave. Others waiting heard of our experience and decided to leave. Scott, the manager gave us a $20 gift card for a future visit, but doubt that we want to waste our time there again. Our experience was totally negative. read more

I have to say this is probably one of the best breakfasts we've ever had! My husband had a breakfast steak & cheese sub filled with bacon, scrapple, steak, cheese & scramble eggs! Fun place with good food and good service! We were visiting from San Francisco and came because our east coast family comes here for trivia once a week. I had the dinner special, which was the lobster bake. Pasta with chunks of Maine Lobster in a creamy Sriracha parmesan sauce, topped in panko bread crumbs. The portion was HUGE and it was delicious!! Beer selection is really good here too. The trivia night is on Thursdays and is really fun. The host of the trivia is great and I like the way she does it. On November 1st I had a dinner date with my wife and 4 other couples. Wednesday night is their Rib special. Our group met at 6 pm. And ordered our food by 630. Approximately 15 minutes later our waiter came back to our table and advised my Uncle and I that we couldn't get the rib special because they were out. I couldn't believe they were out the restaurant had not been busy since we had arrived. I asked our waiter since they were out of the special for the night could I substitute the "special" from Monday Lobster or Tuesday Prime Rib. To my surprise the waiter said sure let me check to see if we can do that. A few moments later the waiter came back and advised me that they could not substitute specials. The was my wife and my first visit to the restaurant. I have heard lots of good things about the atmosphere, food, and specials. This was the first time here in three years. I sat at the bar and was greeted by a pleasant African American lady/girl who took my drink order and my food order. I finished my drink and waited over five minutes to get another even though I was one of three people at the bar... good thing they weren't busy.....my cheeseburger arrived but I was not given a napkin or a knife and fork...the bartender finally noticed my delema and proceeded to wait on the other two people at the bar before bringing my silverware. Have always enjoyed dining in here, but take out was a different experience. The order was never given to the kitchen, so my husband had to wait though we had been told "20 to 25 minutes." The pork tacos were cold and very soggy, no guac, no salsa. The rice and "black beans" consisted of a spoonful of rice covered with chili. They couldn't figure out how to use the gift cards. I ordered food from Rams Head tonight using Door Dash. The crab dip was a pile of warm cream cheese with a very small amount of crab on top. There was no crab meat mixed in with the cream cheese. I'm going to assume that they did this because it was a delivery order. There would be no way that they would serve this to a table and not expect negative feedback. There are plenty of places on the island that serve excellent crab dip; this is certainly not one of them. read more

We ordered take out from Rams Head and it was awful. I ordered an entree salad with a crab cake and my husband ordered a burger. Both were terrible!!! The salad was very small and the crab cake was junk crab and very fishy smelling. My husband's burger was tough and cold. We ended up here last Wednesday as we went to explore the Chesapeake Bay. It took a minute to find, and I think we surprised them by being the 4th group of people mid-afternoon to sit in the bar area. I will say that this place is probably worth 4 stars. I got to try beers I've never had before and the food was great. We shared a crab cake sandwich and it was what I think of as real deal - huge, thick cake with large chunks of crab and served on really good ciabatta bread. If it's any indication of the rest of the menu, it's worth a second trip. I docked them a star for the service. It was admittedly being handled by two servers who seemed busy, but I still think a little more attention to getting it done would have been a much better experience for us.
