The absolute most unbelievable meal I've ever had. Bar none. Hands down. SJ is the shit. JB was unbelievable. What an amazing experience.

For the price point, I was expecting greatness but unfortunately that's not what I got. Only two things could not have been improved upon - the potato puree and the sticky toffee pudding. Everything else came up short but a little or a lot. The duxelles in the beef Wellington was too salty and the pastry was, well....it had a soggy bottom. The beef was great, but I ended up scraping away the duxelles and the bottom pastry. The onion soup was bitter and also too salty. The crispy Brussel sprouts were not at all crispy and were far too vinegary and salty - I ate two and gave up. The bacon in the wedge salad was odd - sweet and not at all smokey and worked against the delicious blue cheese dressing. While the Parker rolls were tasty, the texture was that of day-old bread and the butter was grainy. This was our first time to the casino and to the restaurant. We were a party of five celebrating a birthday. Reservations were easy to get. Our server seemed to have substantial timing issues and feeling comfortable with what flow everything should go in. For example, she immediately took our appetizer order, but failed to offer drinks. It wasn't until after the appetizers were delivered that we had to ask her to please take our drink order. The steaks were not prepared correctly as everything was overcooked. The waitress began clearing the dinner table while two people were still eating, asking us about dessert before everyone was even done. Again, her timing was off and was certainly not up to the standards that you would expect for a 300+ dollar meal. very disappointing. read more

The ambiance was very pleasant and appealing. You can actually carry on a conversation and hear what others in your party are saying. The service was prompt and professional. I ordered the fish and chips. The presentation of this entree was rather bizarre and not what I expected at all. The "whole" fish covered the entire dish (and extended over the sides), burying the chips underneath. It was a parody of what I have come to expect when ordering fish and chips. The food is good. Atmosphere is nice. Staff pleasant. The prices are high. When ordering expensive steaks etc. potato, vegetables etc. should automatically come with that meal. All the sides are 15.00 or so extra. Salad is pricey as well. I have eaten at Ramsay's 3 times now. The fish and chips and chicken meal is best food for the cost. The sticky pudding dessert is good. The chocolate martini type drink good, but others I've had elsewhere for half the price just as good. Next month I will try the breakfast when they start serving breakfast. read more

Everything was delicious both times I've dined there. I received excellent service and hospitality at both the bar as well as a table. I recommend the rolls, any steak, or the Chicken Milanese. We could have had the ____ both nights. We could have had the ____ again, easily. The ___ ! The ____ ! Oh, we'll be back! Just one piece of advice: do not miss out on the sticky toffee pudding! Unfortunately this was such a disappointing experience. We went for our Anniversary and had viewed the menu ahead of time so we knew the options and prices ahead of time. We arrived at the hostess stand 4 minutes before our reservation and we were told we needed to wait. The restaurant was nearly empty, the tables were preset with silverware, napkins, bread plates and water glasses. There were 4 hostesses at the stand just waiting for the reservation time. It was an odd start. The waitress greeted us promptly and was very friendly. We ordered the Beef Wellington, which came with potato puree and vegetables, Scallops and the Roasted Broccoli side. The food tasted fine, nothing great or bad. What astonished is were the portion sizes! Three scallops for $48.95! Three?!?! No side included. We had no issue paying for our meal but it is really a rip off. It's not worth the price. The best part was dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was GREAT and even impressed my husband who rarely orders dessert. Overall, either just go for dessert or avoid all together. Excellent service but spoiled by the terrible food! I ordered a wedge salad with chicken. It had peeled 1/2 cooked tomatoes that were mush and texturally could not get passed them. The dressing was not blue cheese and it triggered my allergies and numbed m mouth, which was probably a good thing. The chicken was overcooked and extremely dry. It was the worst salad have ever eaten and the most expensive I have ever had coming in over $30. The chicken at Chipotle is 100% better. The chef at Ramsay's should take some lessons from the l e cook at Chipotle. Will never eat here again. My mouth is on fire and not in a good way. Save your money and stay away. We went for lunch and ordered the burger and chicken sandwich with truffle fries instead of the regular fries. The truffle fries were worth the upcharge. The chicken sandwich was a bit messy. The ambiance is nice, and the service is good, but that's the only good thing to say. The piece of steak that I received took a while to come out and when it did, it was one of the worst pieces of meat I'd ever tasted, and is nowhere near the quality of a "Ramsey" steak. Very disappointed in the food at Ramsay's restaurant in Ceasars Casino Virginia. The Chicken Milanese was very overcooked and lacked flavor, the fish and chips was covered in a thick greasy batter with soggy potato wedges. The Cauliflower appetizer was also coated and fried in a tasteless greasy batter but at least it had Korean bbq sauce to help. Terrible for the $$$ read more

The food was sub par. I'm certain Gordon Ramsey would not be happy with his name attached to the quality of food we were served today. It was too expensive for the quality that we recieved. It was not a fine dining experience. The front receptionlist was not friendly and you can tell she hated her job. we had one person with a wheelchair so they seated us in the front area where the bar was and the smoke from the casino was stifling. It just wasn't a happy environment at all. The only positive was our server and the bar attendant that spoke to us while we waited to be seated and waited for the receptionist to come back to the front. The receptionist that seats you out Right ignored us for twenty minutes while we waited for our 4pm reservation seating. I wouldn't go back. It's was obvious they could care less about the customers. NEVER EVER AGAIN.......First I want to start off saying I don't usually leave reviews, I might read up on restaurants to see what other people have experienced and make a decision on if I want to try the place out, but leave reviews... never thought I would. I just celebrated my birthday this past weekend and made the decision to have my birthday dinner at Ramsay's. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. I read up on them. Seen mixed reviews. So I didn't think they were going to be that bad. When I made the decision to have my birthday dinner there I called to make reservations. I wanted to have my dinner at 6 pm, but they acted as though they couldn't accommodate me and my guest for that time. They gave me a 8 pm reservation, 2 hours later than I wanted. With NO real explanation as to why I couldn't have my 6 pm reservation. I attempted to make my reservation a week and half early, enough time to prepare for a large group of people (10-12 people) So when the day comes some of my guest arrive at the casino/restaurant early enough to witness that the restaurant was not busy, so once again why couldn't they accommodate my 6 pm reservation? Then they tried to seat us up against a wall, after the fact that my man had requested the private room a week before. He had to say a few words and finally 1 of the employees actually stepped up and helped us get the private room, but it was short a few seats for my guest. The room wasn't ready. Remind you this is 8 pm, 2 hours after the time I really wanted. Then for the size of my party we only had 1 waitress. Oh, and this is the first time I've ever been to a restaurant where they DON'T acknowledge the Birthday person. You know, sing a little birthday song, bring you a cake or some ice cream. The waitress claimed they have some chocolate that says "Happy Birthday " on it, but I never seen it. She didn't bring it to me and no song. Then the food, NOT worth the price. I got the t-bone and aded a lobster tail. When my plate finally came, took about a hour for our food to come, the lobster tail looked like a shrimp. I didn't think it was the tail. I was expecting another plate to come with my tail on it. But that was it, a shrimp size tail. It was so small, it's NOT even worth the price they are charging for it. My man is a vegetarian . When he ordered his food we told the waitress. He got the Caesar salad and she brought him a salad with bacon in it. He could have gotten sick. So birthday dinner comes to an end and everyone pays their bills. My sister pays with cash and card for her meal. 2 days later why did her card get charged for the 2nd time by the restaurant? The lady who stepped up and helped us get the private room calls my man and tells him that SHE had to pay $35 so that the waitress we had didn't have to pay for something dealing with my sister's bill. We was literally standing around for 30 minutes waiting for our waitress to come back with our receipts. There's NO WAY any bill was shorted. I honestly feel as though the waitress pocketed the cash my sister gave to go towards her bill. Oh don't worry, they add the tip on the bill, 18%, so the waitress definitely got her tip. So what happened to that money that was suppose to go towards my sister's bill? From this experience I will NEVER EVER set foot in a Ramsay's restaurant again. From all the reviews I've read for this location and others, BIG CHANGE needs to come. read more
