Naturally I had to get my hands on some. Rules for ordering your Westwood Donuts: 1 They change up their flavours every week, so if a round appeals to you, jump on it! 2 You have to place your order on Wednesday before they sell out. Don't press the snooze on this. 3 There's only a short window on Saturday for pick-up (12-3PM on Saturdays). Once you've completed the steps above, you're on your way to donut heaven. RATING: 9/10 - Westwood: Donuts The dough is everything you want it to be--soft, fluffy and fresh. It makes a great base for the various donut creations. I had the pleasure of trying these flavours: Chocolate Fudge Filled: With rich chocolate custard and coated in cinnamon sugar. You can't go wrong here. Banana Cream Pie: This tasted exactly like it sounds. Fragrant banana custard with whip and bananas on top. If you did a blind taste test, it would be hard to differentiate this from the real pie. Nerds Glaze: Imagine a blue raspberry starburst. This one was sweet, tropical and sour. Lemon Glaze: Pound cake in donut form. I adored the natural lemon flavour! The Banana Cream Pie stole my heart, but they were all worth writing home about. I can't wait to have an excuse to try these glorious donuts again and check out Westwood's food and patio.
