I visit this place for the first time. I'm a big fan on Mexican food but when I at least tried to eat here; it was the worst. From the beverage it tasted like how a sewer would smell. And don't get me started on the enchiladas. I took one bite and almost vomited. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone. read more

There were only 7 families in the building when we arrived at 5:15pm in which most had their food already. It took about 5 minutes to get our drinks. Then it took about 15 more minutes to order our food. We were given the wrong drinks multiple times. Chips are stale. Not worth it. read more

If you are looking for an amazing place to eat on your way to panhandle, this is an amazing stop with a slight detour. Food: we are vegetarian, they do have a few vegetarian items listed but can customize anything. The poblano cheese pepper (chili relenos) was amazing, served with tasty rice and beans. They made customized and made pepper, bean enchilada and tacos for the kids with beans, cheese, guacamole and lettuce. They didn't charge us extra for any substitution, we wanted to pay the difference but the owner refused. The food tasted great!! It definitely ranks as one of the best Mexican food we have eaten. Servjce: they went above and beyond, we were traveling with kids and wished to eat outdoor. I asked if they were OK with me putting my picnic chairs out and the owner and servers offered to set out a table and chairs and served our meal impromptu outdoors. I wish I could give 5+ stars to this business! If you are on this route, go support this local restaurant that's been in business for 10+ years. read more

We love it here. One of our favorite local restaurants. I usually order the fajita trio and margarita, absolutely delish.

Don't try to go here at 8:30, apparently they close 30 minutes before the stated and posted time. Two thumbs down

My family and I were traveling to Destin from Nashville we decided to stop by Ranchero Grande Grill to eat dinner. My wife and I ordered the fajita trio with a margarita and Dos Equis my daughter and her friend ordered tacos and enchiladas. All of the food was good the atmosphere was nice and the wait staff was attentive and nice. If you're traveling thru Andalusia, AL stop and give them a try. Ranchero Grande Grill feels like you have stepped south of the border. The atmosphere is simple and casual with a warm feel. The menu selection is expansive with something for everyone. Also, the portions are very generous. I ordered a half portion of the Ranchero Grande nachos, omitted several sides (lettuce, tomato, and guacamole) and still had enough food for two. With the nachos you have a choice of beef or chicken on the menu, but you can order with a mixture of both for no additional charge. The nachos were seasoned well and very delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant if traveling thru the area. I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm here. read more

We live outside of town and appreciate good take out. We used to really like this place but for the last five times we have ordered they have made serious mistakes on our orders. We understand mistakes can happen, but when it repeatedly happens over and over and over again, something is wrong. The worst part of it is when you call to tell them, THEY made a mistake, they blame it on you!! Saying that they repeated the order back to you and they got it right!! Well, repeated or not, if I am missing food or have someone else's order and have to drive back to town - well that is just NO BUENO! Tonight they gave us someone else's food, when I called they said that they had repeated the order to my husband (they had not), when I confronted him on that statement he asked what our order had in it , he said - oh, yeah, your order is here. You can come get it. Then when we came back in they handed us food that now was over an hour old, cold, soggy and sub par! Their form of a "refund" or discount was letting us keep the other order. What? Why? It also is cold and soggy and not even meals we like! It is unfortunate. We won't be dining with them again. There are other places I will go to spend my money. My advice - if you purchase from them, CHECK your food before you leave. Open EVERY container! You have been warned! read more

We went here for dinner twice. The first time I ordered the pork fajita and my wife had a chimichanga. It was delicious. The second time we ordered the pork fajita for two. It was very salty. Since our waiter never came by to ask how our meal was, and we were starving, we ate it anyway. When I went to pay for the meal, I told the woman who I understood to be the manager how salty our meal was,she said she has no control over that. Also, while we were waiting for our food, a homeless man came to our table asking for money. Not professional service at all. We won't be back. read more

Their food is always great & service is always fast. I deducted a star because for some reason they changed the type of French fries they use. I can't eat gluten so I always order a hard shell taco with fries. When we were there on Saturday, the fries were not the same kind they usually have. These were a breaded fry so unfortunately I couldn't eat them. read more

Pleasantly surprised! My family stopped here for lunch on our way back home from Florida. Excellent food and quality. Restaurant itself is a little dirty but the food tasted great, was presented well, and we were given generous portions. We might make this stop an annual tradition! First time in at the new location. Wow the place is gorgeous. We were greeted and quickly seated. The chips and salsa are so good. Fresh and tasty. Our waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable about the items on menu. My husbands Los Nachos were loaded with meat he loved them. My beef chimichanga was very good and their guacamole is quite tasty. Would highly recommend this restaurant. read more

the wife and I were just passing through and got a hankering for Mexican food. We love fajitas and margaritas. Not so much here though. The fajitas were kinda bland without much flavor. The margaritas were the same way....Not bad, but not so good either. Very little alcohol in the drink. Would have been a 2 star review, but the wait staff was great, so I kicked it up a notch. If I'm ever back in town, I probably won't come back though. read more
