What I saw and heard in that office is like something out of a tv show... The worst staff i have ever had to deal with. I saw and heard how this doctor treated his nurse assistant, he bullied her to pulp I walked away feeling ashamed for not stepping in and asking him to be more respectful to the assistant. His bedside manners are non existent he won't let you speak he's a know it all... I witnessed how he called another doctor's office and basically bully the person on the phone once speaking to the other doctor he was telling on whoever answered the phone then proceeded to tell the doctor on the phone not to forget how many patients he refers over to him... I was in shock I felt like I was on a hidden camera show. I ended up having thyroid surgery and once on the hospital I could see that he is not only rude to his office staff but to the hospital staff as well... My husband went to see Dr. Weingarten a week ago. Since he has some memory issues he wrote down what his concerns were but before he could get his notes out Dr. Weingarten said "ok spit it out why are you here". My husband was so taken aback he could not speak. At that point I explained that he had memory issues and was told then I needed to tell him why we were there. I was referred to Dr. Weingarten due to having a history of kidney stones and high calcium levels. I was so very sick!! Had ultrasounds..MRI's..all negative!! Negatives blood tests..negative scans!! Dr. Weingarten told me that he would help me..find the cause..and wouldn't stop until he did!! He immediately referred me for more tests..came back in for another appointment..he personally sat there with me..went through all the tests..one at a time. Great doctor, obviously knows his craft and diagnosed me after listening to me describe my symptoms, (vertigo) and an examination. He had the audiologist perform the Epley Maneuver on me and my very severe symptoms began improving inside of 24 hours. There was even a larger improvement 48 hours later, and within a week, I was cured. He also had a hearing test done and I felt very secure in his care. I was referred to this Dr. The office called, set up an appointment for me, very pleasant appointment setter. Then on Monday, the day before the appointment I called to reschedule and was told by a cold, rude male that he would be unable to reschedule due to their strict 48 hour reschedule policy. Since I was not told of this policy, I found his uppity attitude pretty hilarious. I'm surprised this doctor has any patients left! Appalling service over the phone from Michele. I had to cancel my appointment one day, and did so in advance. When I called back at a later time to reschedule, I was lectured over the phone about how rude it is to cancel appointments and they basically have a one strike policy where if ever I needed to cancel or reschedule my appointment, they will never see me again. I had never even been to this office. I cancelled my appointment based on the despicable service and rudeness from Michele. If this is how the staff treats potential clients, I can only imagine the ordeal one would have to face if there were any concerns, billing issues, let alone seeing the doctor. I have seen dr Weingarten twice. First appointment was more of examination of ear, nose and throat. Second appt u was told to get a test done. Then I had the third appointment which I had to cancel due to travel reason. I gave 24 hour notice and what I was told, stunned me!!! The lady on the phone told me that if I cancel an appointment then I will not be able to return back to see the Dr again!!! What I said? She further explained that the office manager will determine after reviewing my chart if I should and can return back to see the physician!!! Are you kidding me!!! I was referred to Dr Weingarten by my neurologist because I've been suffering from tinnitus. I brought a list of questions and concerns that I was hoping to ask him along with the results of 3 MRI's I had. Within 10 seconds of me telling him why I was there, he interrupted me and diagnosed me, adding that there was no cure as he chuckled. He told me not to bother with the questions I brought and told me to save them for my neurologist. He interrupted me every time I spoke and got up to ring the nurse button so she could escort me out while I was trying to speak to him. They knew why I was referred to their office. If he knew he couldn't do anything for me, why did he agree to see me? Seems he's only interested in my money. He has the absolute worst bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. Changing ENT's this one is a quack, he said my daughter doesn't seem to have Adenoid inflammation and will not work with my therapist and finding the root cause of her constant sinus issues, and misdiagnosed her with an ear infection yesterday. I went to her pediatrician they did not find an issue with her ears they were cleared. I can't believe I was given a prescription for a problem that didn't exist. He is very dismissive as a doctor, plays like he is god. I will not recommend this doctor at all. His staff is rude over the phone and it takes forever to get into a receptionist. Dr. Weingarten came highly recommend to us. My wife is an ICU nurse in Arizona, and a fellow Doctor that she works with, Referred her to Dr. Weingarten for her thyroid and goiter growing in her neck. We drove to Nevada to meet with him. He was direct and straight to the point. He is very experienced in the removal of the thyroid and gave us every option. He gave us a level of comfort that we had not previously received over the past 8 years with other doctors while addressing her issue. He is confident and sure and with diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. We would both recommend and favor him for experience, knowledge, bedside manner , and his no nonsense approach. He is smart and caring. As an ICU nurse, I prefer competence and experience over hand holding! I appreciate the job Dr. Weingarten did for me. I'm thankful for feeling safe in his hands. I visited this office a few times by a Refferal from a colleague. Each visit I was greeted by a front office staff member with a poor attitude. I don't think she knows how to smile. The Dr comes to greet you with a happy face but when you tell him your problem, he does not explain anything. Worst part, I never saw him wash his hands, or put on a pair of gloves. The instruments he uses, sit out on a table open to the germs, not sterile. I was seated as the nurse picked up the used ones and left the others to use on me. If you leave a message for the nurse, when you have severe pain, discomfort, and swelling, and they say she will call you back at 6:00 pm., she does not. Not even after 3 messages. There are a lot of other ENT's in Las Vegas that have a caring staff, and the Dr.'s are experts in their field. Look for one of those before you go to this office. read more

At my initial appointment I was asked to pay my co-pay. Dr. Weingarten then scheduled me for a procedure/test for two weeks out which I was required to pay another co-pay (I understand given that it was a diagnostic test) but then I was scheduled a third appointment to go in and get my test results and they required me to pay yet another co-pay to spend less than 3 minutes with the doctor to tell me all was negative/good. I've never seen a doctor that required me to pay a co-pay for a follow up visit to give you the test results. He also suggested that I go see a neurologist and then gave me the phone number to a Kidney specialist. I would not recommend this office or doctor. read more

I needed to get in as soon as possible so I called to schedule an appointment and the lady tells me she can get me in the next day at 2pm. I'm thinking that's great they can get me in so soon on such short notice. Well it's the next day and I walk in, sign in, and sit down. She gives me new patient paperwork and I fill that out and sit down for 15 minutes before deciding to tell me I don't even have an appointment and that the doctor isn't in the office for the rest of the day. When did you plan on letting me know?? Why wouldn't you check right when I signed in like a normal running office??! I came here straight from work and missed time from work all because whoever scheduled me apparently had no idea what they were doing! Then she has the audacity to ask if i still want to see him? I called back in a few days with my referral in a couple of days and they had lied to me about taking my insurance, they said they didn't take my insurance there. I am so sick and miserable. I had an infection that caused me to recently lose hearing in my right ear (SSHL per ENT); oddly this occurred when I had pneumonia-like symptoms in which my PCP diagnosed as bronchitis back at the beginning of March. I was referred to Dr. Weingarten by my primary care doctor. Dr. Weingarten and his staff were very friendly and I was told that I was lucky to be sent over very quickly to diagnose my hearing issue. Long story short, I regained my hearing after taking the prescribed meds from Randall. I enjoyed their services and recommend him to others out there with any ENT issues.
