Purchased a hardwood floor from Randolph in the summer of 2022. It IMMEDIATELY started chipping and denting. They came out to inspect and told me there was nothing wrong - yet this new floor had dents and chips with only my husband and I living in the house walking on it in socks only, yet our downstairs floor from 1986 withstood pets and children and has no dents or chips. There is obviously something wrong with this floor, as can be seen by all of the reviews from people that are having the exact same problems. Initially, Randolph acted like they were trying to help and contacting the company that made the floor, but after three years of my having to follow up monthly I have been sent to their distributor who can't do anything. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They do not stand behind their products and even worse they do not carry good quality ones. read more

Gorgeous products and good customer service. I purchased a remnant of New Zealand wool and had it bound for an area rug and it is stunning in the space. It wasn't a big rug so I was not sure if they'd work with me, but I was very pleased that I was treated so kindly! It's a family owned ,and run business, which was important to me. SUMMARY Move along nothing to see at this place. DETAILS Got an estimate which they charge for so what is their incentive to be competitive if they are not hungry? Luna and another did not charge us. Looked for a quote on refinishing the old floors but they were on us about we could make deal for refinishing the old and putting in the new floors at the same time. We wanted a quote for refinishing to see their work before handing them installing 2800 square feet of flooring. All I can say is we overpaid them to give an estimate and their greed got in the way of being given more work. We obviously did not use them since the only impression we got is they only care money and not the quality of their work or gaining more business after a trial of their services. Very short sighted business with no concept of relationship building to gain more work from clients. read more

REFINISHING FLOORS? There are still wonderful small businesses! Over 20 years ago I had my 120 year old floors redone. Years later, and showing much wear from my wonderful dogs, :) I called the same company to refinish them. They were as good as last time or better! My floors lare GORGEOUS! Paul and Jonathan filled in every scratch and scuff. They covered absolutely everything, including my art and kitchen cabinets and moved all my furniture. They had to put on several coats of stain/cover so they were back and forth. The whole thing only took 3 days and they came back to arrange my furniture. I am "floored" at the horrible customer service (pun intended unfortunately)! I walked into Randolph Flooring on a weekday and was not greeted by the owner who was helping a customer at his desk. Proper customer service would be "Hello, be with you in a moment." NOTHING. I walked around a little and saw another employee sitting at his desk. He had to have heard me come through the door as he was seated closely to the entrance. NOTHING. SO, ME AND MY 1,500 SQUARE FEET of needed flooring left. We sent a bedroom carpet out to be cleaned, and it came back looking as if it had never even been unrolled, let alone cleaned. I sent them pictures of the spots and the dirt that was clearly never cleaned, and never got a response from them. I would never use them for cleaning anything. read more

Farhad and his son Areiyan did a great job in helping me with a new floor installation for my living room, foyer and office. They were very responsive to my needs and flexible with their time. On the day of my estimate I had a last minute change and they were very accommodating and had their estimater back out without hesitation. The flooring was ordered and available in a very short time. On the day of the install they sent one of their best technicians to complete the install and I could not be more pleased with the quality of the floor and the care the they took to make sure the herringbone design was aligned in the room from every angle to get the best pattern. If I could add more stars to this review, I would. Randolph Flooring was recommended to use by a family friend. We worked with both Farhad Golchin and Arman Amini and both of these gentlemen were a pleasure to work with. One thing that I really liked was that they spent more time listening to us explain our needs than they did trying to sell us anything. They explained the different types of flooring and the pros and cons of each. Mr. Amini came to our house a few days later to take measurements and provided a price quote within 48 hours. Mr. Golchin kept us updated on the purchase of the floors and called us the day that they arrived. He called on a Thursday to let us know that the floors had arrived and they were able to install on Friday. Special shout out to the installation crew. They arrived at our home promptly at 8:00 as promised and installed 1K sq. ft. of planking in a day. Our floors look magnificent!!!!! I cannot speak highly enough of Fahad, Arman and Randolph Flooring. Their prices were reasonable, their customer service was second to none and their installers were timely and efficient. The only negative that I can give them is that our floors look so good that we are now looking at new furniture for the living room, family room and dining room. My wife and I have been very pleased so far with the service and pricing offered by Farhad of Randolph Flooring. I called and got the price per sq. ft for an LVT that we had liked and he was by far the cheapest in the area. We visited the store and scheduled an onsite in person estimate. Farhad came the next morning and sent over the quote the very same afternoon! His pricing was amongst one of the most affordable we had received. It was also a pressure free environment where we did not feel pressured to buy/sign. Please visit his store, it's one of the bigger flooring stores in the area we been to and also the best in terms of pricing. We placed our order and should be having our floors installed soon. Fahad at Randolph Flooring really went above and beyond to help us get flooring in our condo replaced quickly, even over the holiday and in spite of condo rules! Thank you to Fahad and his team. We own a condo in Bethesda and are from out of state. We were flying in to get the trashed carpet in a bedroom replaced with laminate flooring. We flew in expecting that Home Depot would work with us to get the installation done quickly (we already had the measurements), but after spending many wasted hours with them - they couldn't do it in the time frame we needed. I stopped into Randolph Flooring and Fahad said he could pull it off and he did. We did have a few hiccups because of the New Years holiday, but he made it happen before we had to leave for our flight and it looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!! We cannot thank him enough and will definitely use Randolph Flooring again! And a special shout out to his installation team. They were wonderful as well! As far as price goes, I walked in knowing that I couldn't be too picky because of my desired turn around time. He found me some laminate that would work with a price that was comparable to the Home Depot estimate (which he did not have) and he stuck to that price throughout the project. I contacted Farhad Golchin, owner of Randolph Flooring, to see if the beautiful flooring he sold us in 2018 was still available. A sump pump we had installed this past winter left us with broken floors and walls in three rooms. Not only was Mr. Golchin able to obtain this same luxury vinyl floor, he volunteered to serve as project manager calling in his carpenter to do the restoration of the walls, his painter and, of course, his floor installers. We were still in Florida because of Covid, so a key to our house was sent and the work was beautifully done with thanks to brothers Esvin, Salvador and Darvin who put down vinyl planks that emulated a wood floor. The work Carlos did on rebuilding the walls was superb, and the entire lower level of the house was repainted by Eric. I returned to Bethesda in time to see the flooring installed as the last step in the process. The men cheerfully put all the furniture back in place and even helped me hang some of the heavy artwork. Mr. Golchin came to the house several times to ensure all the work was up to his standards - and high they are - as are mine. Did I get lucky? Absolutely! read more

I used remnants to carpet 4 rooms in my house and saved so much money I could afford new hardwood floors so it was a real blessing I found this store. I was in Rockville running errands and wanted to get a carpet remnant to make our new home office quieter. I checked on Yelp and found Randolph. The location showed up funny in my map - it's actually just across from the entrance to the Giant, and down (east) half a block or so. Anyway, I found it and walked in. The place looks pretty small, but it turns out you don't need a lot of room to display carpet remnants. The guy at the desk was ready to help me and I told him I needed an 8' x 8'6" remnant. He took me over to the side of the store, where rolls and rolls of carpet were leaning up agains the wall, many 10' or 12' high. The very first one was exactly the size I needed and an incredible price ($69, about what I would pay for a 6' square rug at IKEA). I asked a few questions, found out that I wasn't likely to find another one so small, so I decided it was karma and went for the perfect one. They offered to unroll it and re-roll it so the carpet was protected inside the roll, but I told him it wasn't necessary. I paid the bill and a helper put it into my van. The entire transaction took about 10 minutes and they were incredibly nice and helpful even though it was a small sale. I'm sure if I had needed them to cut down a piece they would have unrolled it and cut it to size for me. Very happy with the carpet and the service. Great guys! read more

This was our second time using Randolph Flooring for carpeting installed. It took about 15 min on Friday July 14th to purchase the carpet, padding including installation and old carpet removal for 2 bedrooms and a hallway. The installer came the following day July 15th at 10:15 am to install!! It took about 4 hours to install and they did a nice clean, professional job. Excellent experience again! I called twice to get pricing for Coretec Quarter round moulding. Two different persons confirmed the pricing ($23/ 94 inches , pretty good price). However, when I got pricing for reducer and did want to order them, The owner of the store insisted that unless I bought flooring from them, they would not honor the price. He said that there was a mistake earlier although there was clearly no mistake and this was intentional bad behaviour just because I did not want to order the flooring from them. We had been looking for rugs for months and were told to go see Randolph flooring as their selection of remnants was massive. There was so much to choose from and we fell in love with many of the high quality remnants. With the help of Farhad and his son we choose one and they cut it to the exact size we wanted and had it ready for us within hours so we could take it back to New York. I would say A for pre-purchase customer service; B- for post purchase customer service; and B- for installation. Fahad was very helpful upfront and gave us a great price, but during the day of install, the wrong carpet was delivered. Instead of offering us a discount to keep what they had sent (even though it was wrong color/pattern) Fahad didn't offer anything and we had to wait a week with no carpet and just padding on the floor until the right once was finally received. I was for the most part very pleased with Randolph Flooring. Before moving into our new house, we decided to refinish (sand and stain) our wood floors. I met with Fahad for a quote, which came in about $1500 less than a competitor. The staining process over four days went by fairly smoothly, although it was sometimes difficult to find out when the technician was arriving and leaving, hence why I am giving this business four starts and not five, as this could be an issue particularly for someone with a long commute. What a great experience. The service was friendly and attentive. I found the carpet I wanted and they special ordered it. The price was lower than another quote that I got. The carpet came in EARLY!. They wanted to know if they could install it EARLIER than the original installation date. The installers called to ask if it would be OK if they came EARLIER than the time that they were supposed to come that day. They did an excellent installation job. I still can't find the seams. They cleaned up completely and left nothing except the beautiful carpet. It's rare to have such a frustration-free home decorating experience. read more
