Every time I visit my parents, we have to go to Random Lake Pizzeria. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had. The crust isn't really thick or thin - just right. All the toppings I've tried were great. Honestly, I'm not sure what makes it taste so good. It just does. The owner and his staff are nice people. They keep an ever-changing selection of micro-brews and imports. And!! Last but not least.... they have the old skool table-top Ms. Pac Man. Beat that! This pizzeria rocks! At the time I wanted to go there I could only find a address for it and suggested that the owner should put a menu on the net, as people were thinking that this was only for pizza and may pass them by if they wanted anything other. They have pizza, sandwiches, salads and yummy calzones. one day I decided to go for lunch and ventured over. Being I had a hour for lunch I figured I could get anything and still have time to get to work in time. I've had the pizza in the past and wanted to try the calzones. It took me longer to check out all my options then to get the order. You can pick from a large selection of stuffings and they are all great. The cheese ring was awesome, the pizza was delicious, and the service was fantastic! Random Lake Pizzeria has everything you need to have a memorable dining experience. Craft beer selection is on point and pizza options are plentiful. The crust is made in house and is certainly a cut above the rest. Random Lake Pizzeria is not just an eatery. It is a dining experience! First of all, they have the greatest beers on tap that they rotate often so you can always try something different every time you visit. Second, the atmosphere is fantastic. The owner is visible, welcoming, and just in general a nice guy. They often have live music playing. My wife and I have been there for some bluegrass bands that have been so fun to listen to and very talented. Third, and most importantly, the food is consistently top notch. Their appetizers are on point! The jalapeño poppers are the best I've ever had and the cheese ring is making my mouth water just thinking about it! The specialty pizza choices are endless and all amazing in flavor. My favorite is the philly cheese steak pizza. However, the Tommy's special, muskie, which is a very awesome Big Mac pizza, the landmark, the Reggie White, the T and T, and chicken BBQ are also solid options. Don't let the outside scare you. Or the inside for that matter. Ha. Warm, not fake friendly staff. Hand written beer list. Reasonable prices and just damn good pizza. Even the middle of the crust is crisp flaky, not crisp burnt hard, but perfect crisp. They make the ice cream there. Ice cream is certainly second to the pizza. But for not a lot you can get some beers, a ridiculous thing called a cheese ring (cheese pile is more accurate) and awesome pizza. Served by a guy that clearly likes what he does. By far the best pizza I ever had! The menu is extensive, with lots of different pizza's to choose from and many great appetizers. A favorite of our family is the spaghetti and meatball pizza. They also offer homemade ice cream. The staff is friendly, food is great and the restaurant has a very cool vibe! In the summer there is also live music. A great place!!! read more

Decent Pizza, horrible wait times. We have had they're food several times, which is decent. The problem is the wait times. Random Lake is not a big city and there are 4-5 bar/restaurants in one area. Sometimes you wait over an hour for one pizza. If you order two then you are waiting on the second one after the first one comes out. When you talk to management they give you the same old "we are in demand" answer. Tired of it. Will try other restaurants. Might have to get Pizza from "Bada Bing" in Cedar Grove. read more

Came here for the first time tonight on the recommendation of my son in law who works in town and has been here for lunch. I need more stars for this review. This is REAL pizzaera pizza, cooked and cut like a pizza was meant to be. Then I ordered the popper, it was not like any other popper I have ever had, WOW. It is pizza crust filled with cream cheese and peppers and than cooked to perfection. The garlic breed is thick and drenched in yummy garlic butter. I have traveled to Random Lake Pizzeria several times from Milwaukee to meet with family and friends. The pizza is good and the cheese rings and calzones are excellent. If you go when business is slow, the wait is reasonable. However, today I called ahead to order a pepperoni and onion pizza and a philly cheese ring. I was told the wait would be 35-40 minutes. We came in to have drinks while we waited for our order. After 30 minutes, I asked to at least have the cheese ring while we continued to wait for our pizza. The owner Tommy told me we couldn't get our appetizer before the pizza was ready because the chef was busy. My son was growing especially impatient because we had already waited 45 minutes since the order was placed and a pizza should only take 15 minutes to make. After we had waited an hour, I sent my wife and son to get burgers and fries somewhere else while I continued to wait. Of course there was no wait to continue buying drinks while I waited for any food. Finally after 90 minutes and four drinks later, I cashed out so I could leave. I told the bartender how long I had been there and he asked if I wanted to buy another drink. I firmly said no and asked if my order was ever made. He checked and found it in the warmer. It was soggy and cold. I paid for it and walked out with no intention of ever returning. This was the worst restaurant experience of my life. read more

This is authentic, old world pizza. I break pizza down into four parts. Crust, sauce, cheese and other ingredients. Their crust is a perfect mix of hand tossed meets crispy, with a fresh and tasty flour that is equally crunchy and soft. The cheese tastes like it just came from the farm, and like some pizza shops, they, DO NOT SKIMP on the this important ingredient, as it pulls away from the the pie. The sauce is definitely Italian and is not to too sweet like many chain restaurants. It doesn't have a bite it is just right in its tomato mixture. On vacation and this was only pizza place open on Sunday within a 20 min drive and it was well worth it. The staff was very nice and took good care of our large group. The pizza was great as well as the appetizers especially the cheese ring. It's very kid friendly w a large bookcase full of books and crayons etc. The ice cream also went over well with the kids and there was nothing negative about our visit at all.
