One employee on a weekend morning? Ridiculous line. Had two donuts: Mango and Coffee something. Yikes the flavors were really bad. That was NOT mango (imho). Artificial-tasting and intensely and sickeningly sweet. The donut itself was maybe ok. Will never know. Could not finish either.

    Chocolate Twist & Maple Bacon

Pretty solid donuts overall. I don't have a huge sweet tooth since I usually lean more toward savory foods, so I went with the Maple Bacon Donut and a Chocolate Twist. The Maple Bacon was good, but they definitely don't hold back on the bacon. It wasn't bad at all, just very heavy on that salty-and-sweet combination, almost a true 50/50 balance. If you really like bacon, you'll probably enjoy it more than I did. The Chocolate Twist was exactly what you'd want from a classic chocolate donut -- simple, soft, and satisfying. Compared to The Salty, I actually liked these more. I prefer softer-style donuts when I do indulge, and these had that texture. Each donut runs about $4.50, which honestly feels pretty standard for a specialty bakery focused entirely on baked goods. They've got to make their profit somewhere, right? Getting to the shop can be a little hectic if you're unfamiliar with the area. The mall traffic flow seems to change every other week, so it's worth doing a little research beforehand. You may accidentally end up driving into the mall entrances when the shop is really right near the corner of Peachtree and Lenox Parkway by the The Westin Buckhead Atlanta. Overall, I'd definitely give them another try.

YouTube shots made me try it! I watched a short of an Atlanta influencer discussing this spot! She advised that the original donut shop is in Inglewood and they now have a location in Atlanta! The website for Randy's states World Famous since 1952!! While it has not been around since the inception of the likes of Krispy Kreme ( founded in 1932), they for sure have stood the test of time ! On a Saturday evening , around 8:30pm I drove over to Buck head for the sole purpose of patronizing this spot! They are located in a small brick and mortar on the perimeter of Lenox mall parking lot . While a large portion of Lenox mall parking lot is reserved for valet- the lot closest to this donut shop is free! You do have to go through a security gate to park, but there are no fees associated with going through the gate. When I walked in I noticed that the pickings were slim! The staff said they had a busy day! Looking at the donuts I must set they did not scream desirable. I opted to try a classic glazed, the lemon donut and the coffee donut. I did ask the staff which donuts were her favorite - she advised that since they were not gluten free she did not eat them so could not offer any input! While I think it's good for her that she is not tempted to eat the donuts, I would say it's important for staff to be familiar with a product they are working with! The inside of this spot is small- basically most of the spot is taken up for the staff. They do have outdoor seating, which would be nice in warmer weather. As such, these donuts were taken to go. While sitting in the car we tried all 3. They are just donuts to me! Nothing special. Honestly they were giving gas station quality ! I must be missing what makes these world famous! I am thinking they can attribute that to the big donut placed on their brick in mortar in California and not the quality of the product. I will admit that I am no donut connoisseur, but these donuts do but have any special flavor, texture, or creativity! I am glad I stopped by to check them out! I would encourage you to give them a shot! Everyone's taste buds are different!

I searched for the closest doughnut shop to my hotel, my GPS brought me to the mall so I thought Randy's Donuts was located inside the mall. After getting lost for a bit, I made my way into this parking lot. I didn't realize it was in a shipping container. I needed to grab two dozen for to celebrate my foster youths passing their exams. I stuck with the Classics. There was a short line when I arrived a little before 8:00am on a a Friday, but as I was leaving a line started to form. The doughnuts were a hit! The free doughnut per dozen was a nice touch too!

We came in on a Sunday morning (8/31). My friend, Dee took us there after a fantastic dinner the night before. Randy's is fairly famous - they're originally out of Cali and sport the giant donut above their building in Inglewood. Just in case, Robert Downey Jr. sat inside that giant donut while wearing his Iron Man suit in Iron Man 2. So there you go. Randy's has obviously grown in popularity that they've expanded outside of Cali. This Atlanta location (they're in the Lenox Mall parking lot) is small - they appear to be a shipping container converted into a kitchen and business. They offer only outdoor seating, which is perfect for a quiet morning. When we arrived, there was only one customer ahead of us. Both the employees and the customer were friendly. The customer was in town for the Tennessee-Syracuse (which was played on 8/30) game at Mercedes-Benz stadium. We told him we would be at the stadium later that day for Virginia Tech v. South Carolina. That exchange was pleasant, while the employee was helpful, polite and speedy. We took our six-pack of donuts back to Dee's place. We bought the following... Chocolate Long John with Cream Chocolate Texas Raised Coffee Raised Crondy Lemon Old Fashioned Red Velvet Cake We basically cut them up so we could try all of them. I enjoyed each donut, although the long john was my favorite. I can see why Randy's is so popular. Their donuts are simple (for the most part), are made with quality ingredients, and aren't super heavy. Since I grew up on Krispy Kreme, I don't like my donut to be all cute or extravagant. So Randy's is perfect for my simple-donut-loving palette. When combining the quality donuts with the excellent service, Randy's is the spot. If you're ever in ATL and/or want some good donuts, definitely hit them up. Thank you, Randy's! JV

BEST DONUTS EVERRRRR!!! The donuts are huge, soft inside and crispy/chewy outside. Perfectly sweet. So many flavor combo! If you're only getting 1, definitely try the "raised" donuts. Affordable. Not to mention the customer service is top notch. No wonder they're all the craze in CA. We've been back 3x in 2wks.

I understand why these donuts are so popular. These are some of the best donuts I have ever had. This location is inside the parking lot of the Lenox Mall. Finding a parking spot could be a bit of a hassle if the mall is busy. I was able to get my donuts quick. I got an original glazed raised. chocolate raised, apple fritter, and some chocolate donut/croissant hybrid. I liked them all.

It is always exciting when new pop-ups arrive in Atlanta, especially when it's the world-famous Randy's Donuts. I had high expectations, especially since the line was out the door on a random Wednesday morning. Let's start with the positives: the service was exceptional. I walked into the small store just as a customer was placing a large order, and the staff couldn't have been sweeter or more accommodating with suggestions, all while the line kept growing! Of course, it wouldn't be a proper review if I only tried one donut, so to maintain my Yelp Elite status, I purchased four flavors to take home. Each donut earned high marks for freshness and variety. However, I had to deduct a few points for excitement. I wanted to give them a better rating for taste, but nothing stood out enough for me to rave about. They were good, but not life-changing. Overall, I would give them a solid 7! I encourage people to visit, take a picture next to the inflatable donut, and enjoy a pretty good donut experience.

Randy's Donuts has officially made its way to Atlanta, and I had the chance to check them out on day two of their grand opening. This new location sits right in the Lenox Mall parking lot, and it's impossible to miss thanks to the iconic giant floating Randy's donut perched outside. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine Southern hospitality. A friendly gentleman outside welcomed guests with a warm smile, and that same energy carried through to the staff inside. As a first-timer, I kept it classic--glazed, strawberry with sprinkles, vanilla with sprinkles, and a chocolate cake donut. Each one was generously sized, soft, and fluffy with just the right touch of sweetness. The setup is container-style, so don't expect indoor seating. It's a grab-and-go spot, but they've got a patio deck if you want to pause and enjoy your treats on the spot. Overall: Great experience, great donuts, and even better vibes. I'll definitely be back for another sweet treat.

My fiancé and I had plans to go to the gym. On our way, we decided we really weren't feeling it and took a detour to Randy's Donuts instead. This location just opened up near Lenox, and I was excited to try it! My fiancé had fond memories of enjoying it back when he lived in California, and was craving his old favorites. AMBIANCE: 4/5 -The shop is a cute and industrial little building. As adorable as it is though, it doesn't lend itself very well to lines. There isn't much room inside, so the wait extends out the door. SERVICE: 5/5 -Despite the line, the workers inside are very efficient and move quickly. They have their system down pat, and do it all with smiles. We experienced professionalism and kindness! FOOD: 4.5/5 -Today, we chose Blueberry Iced Cake & Raspberry Jelly Filled & Pink Raised with Sprinkles & Nutella Raised. All of them tasted yummy! I do wish that they had Boston Cream, which is my favorite, but they do have other yummy selections. It feels very classic. The quality is obviously much higher than your average Dunkin Donuts, but less creative than some of the other gourmet donut shops around town like Revolution Doughnuts. All in all, we enjoyed our selections and look forward to trying more!

I was so excited for the opening of Randy's Atlanta and they didn't disappoint! Randy's is located in the corner of the parking lot of Lenox near Cheesecake Factory and Apple. You won't miss it as a huge donut is out front! I went on a Saturday morning and was able to easily get a parking place. But I could see this being a problem during high volume times at the mall. Once I arrived, there was a line way out the door which was a 20 minute wait but the line was constantly moving. I'm hoping once the newness wears off the line won't be like that! Once I got inside, the staff had the best system on getting orders out the door! I ordered an arrangement of six donuts and every single one was delicious! Lastly, the shop is small so there is no seating inside. But they do have a nice place right outside to enjoy your donuts on a nice day! See you soon!

I was so excited to finally experience THEE Randy's Donuts. While I still would like to visit the original location, I'm so happy they've extended a location to ATL. The shop is located in the little tuck of the parking lot across from Lenox Mall's main entrance. The iconic donut sign is posted right infront you can't miss it. The shop is a grab-and-go vibe, there isn't anywhere to sit, however this is a little counter space right outside of it for you to savor a few bites before heading out. The young men behind the counter were SO sweet, truly a great first impression. I was there not only try Randy's for the first time, but also to pick up some donuts for my co-workers. I ordered the following: Glazed Old Fashioned/M&M's Raised/Blueberry Iced Cake/Butter Crumb Raised/Chocolate Long John with Cream/Glazed Twist/Chocolate Iced Cake The donuts that were an absolute hit were the glazed old fashioned, the buttercrumb raised, and the chocolate long john. Oh my goodness the chocolate long john was so good we couldn't stop talking about it....it was like an eclair but better. I did notice they offered drink options, and if my hands weren't full of all those donuts, I would've gotten myself a coffee. Guess that gives me a reason to go back, but do we really need a reason to return to a donutshop? :)

Chocolate Buttermilk Nutella Raised Bacon Maple Long John Maple Raised with Churros Red Velvet Cake
    Earl L.

EASILY some of the best donuts that I have EVER had the pleasure of having! My favorite one was the Nutella Raised, and for my second favorite it was a toss-up between the Chocolate Buttermilk and Bacon Maple Long John. The quality of the chocolate used reminded me of a decadent chocolate ganache, and that combined with the rich buttermilk donut was a delectable combination. The sheer AMOUNT of bacony goodness contrasted with the maple glaze was the PERFECT fix for any salty sweet craving. My ONLY knock is on the red velvet donut - red velvet isn't really red velvet without cream cheese frosting, and without the saltiness of cream cheese frosting to cut into the rich chocolately sweetness of the red velvet, it's just very sweet and one note.

Reminded me of the doughnuts that I used to get back in Cali. The actual spot was cool and staff was friendly.
