Stopped by the Phoenix location his morning. Lots of staff milling around doing nothing but gabbing. Person in front of me had a big donut order to take to his office. Nobody else offered to help other customers. Ordered 6 maple raised donuts. My all time favorite donut. The donuts were tasty but very greasy and heavy due to the 1 inch thick icing. The maple icing on top was a thick hard maple sugar blob. The icing was a hard shell.It was very hard to eat. Every time I took a bite of the donut a big chunk of the icing fell off the donut. The falling chunks were hard and had to eat them separately. One and done for this place. No thank you. I will stick with Bosa Donuts or Dunkin. read more

Check your bag before leaving the drive thru. Went thru here early this morning around 6:45 no line so I thought I'd try it. Ordered 5 donuts and they asked me if I would like to throw in another for a 1/2 dozen and I said sure! Picked up my order they read it back to me but I didn't look in the bag, got home and only 5 donuts and one was wrong - they gave me a chocolate long John and I ordered maple. $14 for 1/2 dozen and I only got 5. If I go again, I'll skip the drive thru. It's so awkward checking your order but next time I will! read more

Never had an issue til today. I got there at 1pm and you were out of almost 1/2 the selection. I struggled to choose an assortment of donuts for a dozen. The reasoning "it's Friday and we're busy." Update they banned me I was at a friends place and he said that he wanted a doughnut there and since I have a account he told me to order and it did not work not even a minute later it worked for him so I tried it again and it still didn't work so they banned me hope the business fails btw they still have not given me a refund read more

Love the donuts at Randy's. Like many others, have been a fan of them in LA. Have to rate them down for the same issue as others have noted, regardless of when I stop here, several/lots of the donut varieties are out of stock. This is based on 6 at least 6 visits. The store is a 45 min drive from our house in Scottsdale so it's very disappointing when something as basic as a maple glaze is gone early afternoon. Maybe the trick is ordering ahead? Service is fine. I could tell the attendant was embarrassed that she didn't have 4 of the 5 donuts I came for. Always use the drive through so I can't say anything about ambience. read more

We walked in today at about 1pm, there was only one other customer. So that's three people. There were two people behind the counter. We waited several minutes. No one said anything or acknowledged us or even asked us to wait for a minute. We were totally ignored. Completely rude . This is not how you stay in business. The manager was busy with his clip board. The woman at the front was putting donuts on the shelf. We were right in front of them. No one wanted to help. They acted as if we did not exist. read more

We've been anxious to try out the new Randy's Donuts in Phoenix - seeing lines forming out the door when it first opened. We finally went there on a Friday night and were horribly underwhelmed. They might be forgiven the old looking donuts and missing varieties because it was about an hour and a half before closing, but still, the plain buttermilk donut I got was dry and only slightly soft in the middle (they were out of the glazed buttermilk donuts). But the worst was the vanilla milkshake my husband got. It was so odd tasting and sickeningly sweet he couldn't even drink it. He ended up throwing it out at home. That's saying a lot, because he loves vanilla milkshakes. To top it off, when we walked into the place it smelled of soured milk or dirty dish cloths. The sales person was bored and ready to go home. All in all - Randy's was a disappointing bomb. This is no way to debut the place in a new city. I know we'll never go back - and by the way, the lines seem to be dying down. Don't believe the hype lol. I ordered a few to try them out. I placed my order online 1 glaze, 1 cinnamon roll, 1 jelly, maple long John. Came out to $10 and change. I got to the drive thru speaker told them my name and I was told I had to come inside to pick my order up. Umm excuse me why? Lmao. I did not have proper clothing on to get off (grandma always told us to never walk out busted.. now I know why lol). What is the point of drive thru? I thought I did everyone including my own a favor by placing my order online to save time. Let's get to the donuts .. big nice size donuts however the taste is not there. If anyone is a fan of cinnamon roll donuts by far circle k has the best hands down. The jelly donut was stale and just a bunch of hard glob of jelly that made my stomach hurt. The other two I haven't gotten into bc I had to drink some ginger ale to fight my stomach pain. We went to Randy's about 7:30 pm yesterday and picked up a half dozen. I am a fan of going to Randy's in Inglewood and Costa Mesa whenever I have the chance so I was excited they opened in Phoenix. I hope they will work out some of the kinks in their donut quality. While fully cooked, my maple glazed aborbed the grease from the fryer which shouldnt happen from an experienced donur shop. I hope to try them again when I'm in the Phoenix area in hope they will do better like their other locations. read more

Everything, went there at 7 Pm and the lobby was closed. Supposed to be open til 10 on Saturday. Had to go to the drive thru with 6 people in the car. Sold out of half the items. Person taking the order had the attention span of 2 seconds. One of donuts was still raw. My chocolate covered long John was missing the crème filling. I grew up off Randy's Donuts in LA and was super excited this finally made it was to Phoenix. I went on opening day at 5am and was able to get my classic Raised Glaze and Chocolate Raised. Fresh and Warm. They were great. The following week stopped in for the same around 11am and ordered the same. This time they were cold and slightly stale. The today I went at 1pm and they are sold out of 50% of the donuts midday. The problem is they don't make the donuts at the actually donut location. So in the am you'll get fresh donuts but after 11am they will be cold or gone. This isn't on Brand with Randy's in LA which has warm fresh donuts 24/7. It's what makes them so great. Hopefully they fix this gap and get on brand. read more

This is the WORST donut place EVER!! Donuts were super dry and hard, the icing was so stiff and hard you can tell they were not fresh by how the icing just peeled right off. Employees were very unsanitary, some employees were not using gloves. The guy at the register was handling donuts and handling money at the same time!!! Never once saw him change his gloves GROSS!!! Girl with the curly frizzy red hair took forever to make one coffee!!! And her hair was close to the donut racks, would never come here again!!! Skip this place!!! read more

I know y'all been open a week but maaan, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We arrived at 6pm and they had 3 flavors(with 4 hours left in the day) chocolate, maple, and a hand full of red velvet. We ordered two maple two red velvet as well as two frozen lemonades. They messed up the order in front of us, and literally took two donuts from our bag and put in their box. When she handed us our bag we told her we had 4 donuts and we watched you take them out of our bag the blonde lady with the baby ponytail just offered to give us a refund. And to top it off we waited 15 minutes for frozen lemonades that were sitting by the time we received them they were melted. The manager came from the back to handing them to us she still got crumbs on her face ain't even wash her hands from her lunch. I'd go to the Randy's in LA before I come back here. Or Krispy Kreme, or BOSA, or Voodoo but this place ain't it. And I know these red velvet donuts were made the previous day they were hard and crunchy read more

The donuts were heavy and dense and tasted like rancid cooking oil. The chocolate icing tasted artificial. The staff needs to be retrained on how to properly make donuts. If this business wants to continue in the Phoenix market, they need to taste the competition's products and see how it's done correctly. Went here for the first time today and tried a texas glazed donut. It was the best donut i've had in arizona! Highly recommend!

I would not be coming back at all! I ordered a small latte nothing special just an iced latte. I waited over 20 minutes for my drink, while I was waiting I saw the girl in the back with the red frizzy faded hair making all the drinks with no gloves on at all while everyone seemed to have gloves. She was touching her hair, face, nose and touching her stomach under her shirt for some reason. She would rinse her hands and dry wiping them on her jeans and touch all the cups and ingredients to make the lattes. She then made two other coffees for other customers and the customers said that was not their order so she took the drinks to the back put them on the counter and waited a few minutes only to take those same drinks back to them telling them those are the new correct drinks. And the guy who was doing register was wearing the same gloves to handle the donuts and the money, The whole time I was standing there never did I see him change his gloves!!! Over twenty minutes later waiting for my small coffee, I just asked for a refund. read more
