Sauce was tasty and it was just what I wanted from a cheese pizza. I will say it was a bit too much dough for me though. Kinda chewy so maybe you just need to get a larger size pie for the crust to be less? Overall though, it was worth ordering. We also had the fried dough- like mini fair funnel cake bites. Pricey too. Not much sausage but where there was sausage it was clumped together. Some slices had barely any sausage. Peppers were plentiful. Might try them again but I'd sure like to have a crispy bottom crust. I know it's hard to do but please try. The end crust was great. read more

I LOVE Randy's pizza! I originally had it at work MANY years ago and enjoyed it. There are numerous locations in the Triangle, which works great for me. This location is extremely convenient to my house (lucky me). For me the best thing is the Meat Lover's pizza. I usually order the 18" which is HUGE and usually bigger than the box, but no complaints for that. The flavor combination is just right for me. It even reheats quite well in the toaster oven. During my most recent visit, I also got 1/2 dozen garlic knots which were so full of garlic and flavor. I do love my garlic, so keep that in mind if you are not into garlic or lots of it, they also offer regular knots. The menu at Randy's has offerings for a variety of palates including appetizers, salads, wings, pizza, subs, entrees (pasta and 3 knots), and desserts. If you enjoy NY Style Italian pizza, I suggest trying this restaurant. So many great options, that I have barely made a dent. read more

When I first moved to Morrisville this place became a regular stop for me. I love pizza so I'm pretty picky and Randy's never disappoints

I was recently in the Durham area and the overwhelming urge for 'za took over. Yes, the bad me went off the wagon in a big way. I ordered a pizza. Sigh. It was near perfect. The crust was a good thickness, not too thick, not too thin. The cheese...oh the cheese...it was melty goodness. Here is where they lost some points towards a 5 star review: the sauce. I know that here in the South, finding truly divine pizza is like the Unicorn of foods here. Y'all are so sweet living thru life under the belief that you know what a good pizza tastes like. Not so my friends, not so. This is where I encourage all of my Southern friends to take a trip up North. You don't have to go all the way up to NY, Philly is a good stop or even better, South Jersey. A good sauce isn't sweet. It isn't lumpy with half cooked bits of tomato. It definitely shouldn't have the consistency of tomato paste. It should have a bold flavor with a hint of zest to it.(pizza sauce isn't spicy like some red sauces) I will say that Randy's comes the closest of most places I've been to (not all). I did enjoy the 'Za immensely and if I have another cheat day, well they are at the top of the list! The prices were really reasonable considering how expensive most pizza joints have gotten so expensive now. Then again, everything else has as well. read more

Our Supreme pizza had a good amount of toppings that tasted like they were higher quality than other comparable pizzas joints (especially the pepperoni). Kudos for using big pieces of onion (unlike the Miami location). I guess that justifies the higher prices than other joints. Like the Miami location - and MANY other restaurants these days - customer service needs improvement. I sat on hold for 8+ minutes to place my pickup order. Finally, I hung up and redialed. The phone was answered immediately. I NICELY said I had been forgotten on hold, and received the reply "oops. I can take your order now." Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a pizza at 7:20 and it didn't arrive until 8:40. Called around 8:05 to ask about the pizza and was told the driver was having difficulty finding my house. When they finally arrived my wife asked about it and the guy looked at her like she offended him. He told her he had four other deliveries but "at least I kept it warm". So was it a location issue or too many deliveries? Can't be location because we're literally down the street 5 minutes away. Pizza was not cold but also not warm when it arrived, rubbery, and bland. I don't know what happened but they used to be great. I used to order from them all the time but it's like every part of their service and ingredients have just tanked exponentially. I stopped in for dinner to grab my usually #7 - 1 topping slice and fries. It was fresh and tasted fantastic! This location has a lot of seating along with outdoor seating, which is a great addition! I have been ordering from Randy's for about 6 months now and have experienced a clear trend with this Restaurant. On very busy evenings (Friday & Saturday most notably) there literally is not enough oven space for the food preparers to cook with. The result is that not only do the wait times get longer, but many times the pizza, calzones, etc. will be somewhat underdone as they are boxed. I got a pizza on a Friday night and when I opened the box at home the pie had not even been sliced. I got a family calzone on a Saturday that was quite undercooked and had to be put in my own oven to finish it. Having said all of this, when things are not crazy busy, the food is great so I just pick better days to order. read more

I'm a big fan of the Randy's located near Woodcroft shopping center off of Hope Valley Road. I moved closer to Briar Creek and I was so excited to find out that there was a Randy's nearby that could deliver to my house. Unfortunately, this location is nothing like the others I've visited. Both the service and the food are absolutely horrible. I've called a few times in a pinch and was able to place an order shortly before closing. Tonight, I made a call at 8:45PM asking to place an order for delivery when a young man abruptly shouted, "NO" and hung up the phone on me. Mind you, I was willing to give this particular location a second chance after what I had received from them last time. I wasn't going to write any review or leave any photos because I truly do love the Woodcroft location and thought they were just having a bad night. But the food I received from my last order was honestly, inexcusable. I received freezer burnt wings, that had disgusting silver skin on them. My pizza had obviously been dropped and slid around in the box, all the toppings were misplaced and the entire pizza was smashed on one side of the box. Another time, I was instructed that we were out of the delivery area and not to call back. This place is way too much trouble than what it's worth. They are inconsistent, extremely rude and unprofessional and the quality of the food is laughable. This is usually my go-to pizza place but after tonight it will be my last. When I went inside to pick up my order, one of the employees was vaping right behind the front counter. Where the pizzas are made. He was standing next to a guy making a pizza crust. I saw his little red/orange/yellow vape in his hand, saw him put it to his mouth, then turn around and blow the smoke out in the direction of the ovens. What the actual hell?? Then, add the tax $2.27, support local fee $.95, the delivery fee $3.50, the tip $4.27 for a total of $39.94!!! I ordered it at 6:21pm with an estimated delivery time between 7-7:15pm. Seems reasonable. Then, at 6:24, I received a note re-estimating the time to be 7:39-7:54pm. I called the store to check on it twice. At 8:08pm, I wanted my money back so I called to cancel. So I love Randy's. The Lake Boone and Miami Blvd locations rock. I am now working near the TW Alexander location and it is pretty bad. I ordered a Greek salad and a slice of meat lovers. The slice is a pepperoni slice with meat thrown on top and is cold. The salad has the hard ends from a head of iceberg lettuce. A lot of the lettuce is brown and I have lots of tomato slices very little feta, ive counted 3 kalamata olives and 2 rings of onion. It's the worst salad I've had from a Randy's location. The pizza is the worst as well. I feel cheated out of my hard earned money for a meal that is inedible. read more

Randy's is a great place to go for a slice of pizza if you work in RTP near or on TW Alexander Dr. I love the #4 combo which is $7.49 for a gigantic slice of pizza with one topping, side salad, and a medium sized drink. You can pay extra if you want additional toppings or sauces, but the #4 is pretty good for one person. In addition to the pizza, they also sell subs, pasta, wings, and salad. I moved to NC from the Philly area 16 years ago, for years I tried all the NC versions of a 'Philly Cheesesteak' and eventually gave up trying them. Today I had a craving for a good old cheesesteak like home and couldn't be happier with the Steak and Cheese sandwich from Randy's. I ordered it without all the extras that are standard on the menu and only did the meat, cheese and grilled onions, before I even tried it the smell was like going home!
