I have to say the experience was tremendous the entire staff was amazing. the food, the drinks, the vibe. we started with the greeter Eliana her smile lights up a room. We called ahead for our personal waitress Lovely and she was even love than her name. Waiter/mixologist because the drink she made me a Randy's special rum punch Wow, wow, wow for a Haitian restaurant they are catching up with the times. Astrich the concierge she is the epitome of hospitality. Billy the bartender he is HILARIOUS wow he had us laughing from start to finish I ordered the Tassot Kabrit but he suggested the Lalo he let me sample it so I got both. Best Haitian food I've ever had, the patties were so good. This is coming from a guy who has worked in Michelin restaurants and my mother is a chef for celebrities and professionals athletes. The rice was just sorry, the Griot was hard it had many small crumbs of meat the fat was strangely grisselly and just seemed like mystery fat. I've been going to this restaurant for years and it's easily my go-to. I spend so much money here, they need to add my name to the title! The food is great, the customer service is improving, and the restaurant is changing. As far as Haitian restaurants in Miami goes, their customer service is better than most. Each of their servers speaks English, and the restaurant serves food through Postmates and Uber Eats. Additionally, the venue is awesome because there's a bar there with several large-screen televisions. I've taken my wife on dates there eating authentic Haitian food and having shots of cremas. The two guys in the front conducting take out orders were very nice young men. The food did take a little while 20-25 mins, but was worth the wait. The chicken was seasoned very well and very spicy. This restaurant used to be my favorite Haitian restaurant in Miami but since Pandemic I would have to change my review. I ordered whole fish on the Uber Eats app for pick up. The order was accepted and said it would be ready by the time I made my 30 minute drive to go pick it up. App said it was ready, but When I get here the hostess said it wasn't made because the price should have been $5 more. I am not the one that make up prices on the app. As the establishment, you make and post the prices you choose. How are you going to pick and choose to make someone food because YOU didn't like the price you posted. As the customer, I should not have to pay any difference in what you advertise. The hostess said she would handle it. I waited 15 minutes and a man come front the back still complaining about the price. The food still not made. Hostess was nice to talk to the man and convince chef to make my food which I had to stay waiting in the front for an additional 30 minutes for them to make it. All of which I feel is absolutely ridiculous. You posted the price, I'm sorry you have to honor it. And for me to have to spend over an hour between driving and waiting on this food is not good customer service. Which is a shame because the food is so good here. I got here at 2:05 to pick up this food. I'm finally leaving here at 3:15. I am never coming here again. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! you can't pay me to eat here. I came to this place because a friend recommended it. I ordered lunch here and when I went to pick it up and the time given nothing was ready! The host had all these excuses on why none of my food was ready, and then told me I have to wait an additional 45 minutes to the already 35 minute wait that was given initially! Also the host seems as if she don't want to be there, which is not a good look being that she's the first person you see when you enter and she sets the tone! I paid 86.00 for food that went straight to the trash . $30.00 for Oxtails Salty with 4 pieces, fired wings were 5 little pieces for 12.00 , the Tasso goat fried hard and dark , the ackra omg terrible. Taste like chalk, with pepper! . Not to mention I waited an 1hr and 46 minutes for this tasteless food . So grossed out I have acid reflux. Only good for Bal not for a meal . My go-to restaurant for Haitian food. Griot, oxtail, fried fish, all incredibly yummy. Portions are huge, prices are great, very friendly service, never have to wait long for dine-in or carry out. They can get pretty busy on weekends around dinner time, but I've still never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a carry out order. Don't hesitate! Try the food here! read more

Update: I wrote my last review out of frustration of not getting what I wanted without reviewing the food. The stew chicken is very good and so is the Tasso Turkey, their gravy, along with the peas and rice and Djon Djon rice. Randy's food was phenomenal! I came unexpectedly with 21 of my family members yesterday from a cruise and the food was heavenly. The service wasn't as great, but it was only two people working with customers coming in. I can't complain for them doing a great job with my huge family. Thank you! Great experience. Stopped here for authentic Haitian food and wasn't disappointed. The waitress was helpful and attentive. I had the Legumes which is stewed veggies but vegetarians beware, there's plenty of meat in there. Came with rice and beans mixed and big fried plantains. Local friends & out of town guests often ask me where they can go to experience authentic Haitian cuisine in Miami. There are many takeout spots but unfortunately there aren't many Haitian restaurants where you can dine in a decent setting. So Randys is one of the recommendations I make. The food is tasty, cocktails good, the atmosphere is decent for dinning in (including large parties). And although the service can be a bit slow at times, overall the waitresses are pleasant & have a positive attitude.
