    Chicken Tikka Masala
    Sankit G.

Ordered chicken tikka masala which comes with a side of rice, and a naan for pickup. The place can sit 120 people but there were only 2. This had already set the bar pretty low for me. Once I arrived back home and served myself some dinner, I felt the food tasted below average. The chicken tikka masala was bland, it lacked spices and salt. At the same time, the chicken was kind of stiff. It took some effort to break bite size pieces from the chunk, which made me feel that it's probably not fresh as well. The naan was ok. The rice was cooked very well, but at most of the restaurants I feel chefs add some salt to rice to give it some flavor, but this rice was also bland which just made the whole curry and rice experience pretty bad. Will not visit the place again.

The family trays when it should have been 4 separate orders

We placed an order for my Company today, I ordered four individual meals that were the same thing. And what the restaurant chose to do without discussing it with anybody was to combine all the orders and make it a tray to eat family style. And this is completely unacceptable. It is not their place to decide how each individual person wants their meals nor is it disrespectful to force people to have to share meals. Along with that where we charged individually or did they charge us for a tray. I did see the receipt, but again it is not their place by any stretch of the imagination to make decisions on their own for a pain client. In the past, I've had problems with this restaurant and I can guarantee you that I will never ever ever go back to this place again and if anybody reads this review, I discourage you to go to this restaurant forever. Tell all your friends and family they are very hard to work with.

    Chicken Tikka Masala curry

Well butter my naan and drown me in some butter chicken curry, I can't believe I haven't written a yelp review for Rangoli. This Indian restaurant used to have a buffet before I almost ran them out of business by taking "all you can eat" too literally. Just kidding it was COVID. But now from the comfort of my bed I can order uber eats and have a feast of the same. My go to is the chicken tikka masala (spicy) for $18 and I get through maybe 2/3 of it before I get full and keep a treat for later. They splash around 10 large boneless chunks of tandoori chicken in the large puddle of flavorful curry. Huge portions and delicious, if you're trying to figure out where the butter chicken is, this is it. Did I mention they give you a box of rice for free as well? But wait, there's more! I decided to step out of my butter chicken comfort zone and try the lamb korma. I may be as white as the rice they include, but my taste buds have been enlightened. I also tried the chicken vindaloo, or should I say vindaWOO. This one has potatoes and is a bit more bitter, if you're into that. 5 naans out of 5.

    Weekday lunch buffet

Really good weekday lunch buffet meals. There are usually 5 vegetarian and 5 non vegetarian curries. They also bring fresh naans to the table. Gulab jamoon and kheer for the desserts are extra like the icing on the cake. Included in the $19 lunch buffet but all of them are good.

We ordered two dishes to share, and were going to order a side of rice, but the waiter let us know that the chicken tikka masala came with rice. Everything we had was good. We ordered stuff medium spicy, and that was probably the hottest tikka masala I ever had! It was delicious but I was glad they bring you a pitcher of water to the table when you sit down. We definitely will be back to check out other things, though my partner loved the baingan bharta, so I'm guessing that will be a repeat. It had a really complex flavor with some sweetness to it.

The seabass came with a slice of lime which I appreciated. It was flavorful and tasty. There was also a nice little cup of rice pudding with spices and cashews I think. It was a little sweet dessert included with the thali plate. There was a tasty salad with raspberry dressing. There was a generous serving of rice. Enough rice so you might be able to split one thali amongst 2 people, especially if you got an appetizer and the chai also. The food is so delicious though, I finished the whole plate except the rice. This thali plate also came with some very tasty dal. I also got the masala chai which was delicious. It comes with milk already mixed in and sugar packets so you can add as much or little sugar as you want. It came in a nice ceramic cup. The service was polite and helpful but unobtrusive. The restaurant was popular on a Friday around noon but they didn't make me feel rushed at all. The entire cost for the thali and the chai was about $40 including tip. It was worth it! I know things are more expensive these days but I had such a wonderful experience. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated with a huge beautiful artwork of I think 3 goddesses, I wasn't completely sure what the art was but it looked beautiful. There are comfortable booths inside and nice tables. I ate alone, and I had a 2 person table which was a good size for me. First, I went for a hike at St Joseph's hill which is a beautiful trail close by Namaste, then treated myself to thali and chai. It tasted so good after hiking! I think Namaste is a great spot for lunch with friends (they have the thalis on weekday lunch) or also would be a great spot for a date. I saw a couple out for lunch together, maybe on a first date? They looked like they had a nice time. Overall it was a great experience, well worth the $40. Not something I can do every day because of work, but fun for the occasional treat.

But the sambusa has a better structure, holding its shape after multiple bites. the Dough is softer but still crispy. it came with beef , chilies and other vegetables. so so good. the perfect appetizer for us. it came with a spicy green sauce that seemed to be the common sauce for every dish then the stars of the show. The sizzling hot beef plate served with veggies, rice and a salad was unbelievable. add on a lemon and some more greens sauce and you're in for a treat. the rice alone was so flavorful and it tasted like there was meat drippings on top. the beef was so tender and fell apart in 1 bite. I was blown away with the dish the chicken wrap... man. I'm not sure what kind of bread, pita was used but it was fantastic. a huge wrap with lettuce, onion chicken, sauce and other veggies. It was so messy and hard to eat with your hands so we resorted to eating with a fork and knife. Unreal. Unreal. massive portions again which are a theme here. But holy smokes this was so good. The chicken has a nice char, but is also juicy and saucy. the spongy pita neutralizes the bombardment of flavor from the meat, and the veggies compliment everything with some crunch and texture. Service was great and very helpful. They were extremely friendly and a delight to talk with. We will be back 5/5
