So a rickty ride down the cobblestone part of Germantown Avenue caused my muffler to break free. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to give Rapco another try since Jason had been so gracious in his response to my first review. I did not go in an immediately ask for him, instead I let the transaction flow to see how I felt. I was treated very well by Fran and Bill at the front desk but what I truly appreciated the most was being taken into the installation area and shown exactly what the problem was and what it would take to fix it. A huge portion of the pipe was completely rotted through. After getting my estimate which was quite reasonable cuz I did do some research, I explained to Bill and Fran about my previous experience and they were completely apologetic and as gracious as Jason had been. My work took a little while but the accommodations were good. Rapco has a spacious waiting room so distancing was not an issue, a tv and plenty of magazines to keep you occupied. Very happy with my visit and plan on coming back for that Yelp check-in offer. read more

I received fantastic service from the staff at RAPCO. They diagnosed my suspension and braking issues on my 2007 Ford E350 and completed the necessary repairs quickly so I could get back on the road. They stand by their work and realigned my truck, shortly after I reported the problem. It's been a couple of months since these major repairs and I am 100% satisfied and recommend them highly. I had a problem with my air conditioning, and the issue was misdiagnosed where I originally went. I took my car to Rapco, and they were up front about the issue. They also checked to see if it was covered by my warranty. When it wasn't, they fixed the leak, and the cost was a wonderful surprise! It was a job well done at an affordable price. Never will come back. Place is a total rip off. I spent $80 for an oil change and a tire rotation. Some places do the tire rotation and more as part of the oil change bundle for alot cheaper. I had two coupons, which only one could be used. They took the one coupon that was the cheaper of the two to discount. So they saved me $10 instead of $30, shisty!!! I had been coming here the past 5 or so years to finally find out they have been price gouging me for all these years. I have a car inspection due in a couple months. Guess what??? I will not be going to Rapco! There are many other places around here to go to. I chose Rapco bc I thought they did a pretty good job, but not for the price. Got My truck towed here and the battery was dead they stated that I needed a new battery and to get a charging test done cause my car won't stay on after a jump. They wanted $370 before they even started to look into the problem that I was having. So I took my truck out of there and to another shop and when it got there they gave it a jump and it was running and did not need to do a test they was trying to take advantage do go to this shop you might as well go to your dealership with their prices read more

I brought in my 2006 Honda Pilot for an inspection, struts, and shocks. I also asked if they could replace the hitch mount on my vehicle because the ball socket has rusted solid into the receiver and I had two other shops attempt to remove it. Mike said he didn't care what other shops tried, he would have his guys remove the socket. Sure enough, the next day, my hitch receiver and socket were as good as new! I just can't say enough about their excellent customer service and remained amazed that they were able to fix a problem I was convinced couldn't be fixed. I did not know how long it would take to get fixed, if it was even fixable nor how much it would cost. They never pressure me into any services besides what's needed, repairs completed in a timely manner, clean environment and reasonable prices. These guys are really a very rare find in this industry. As a single 23 year old living here alone with no family within 2,000 miles, things like car maintenance can be somewhat intimidating. I'm essentially a prime candidate to be taken advantage of, so when my check engine light came on I diligently searched for a reputable shop. I'm so glad I found Rapco! I met with Alex, and he walked me through the process of the diagnostic and even gave me a price point for the labor. The best part was they ask you the maximum time you would like them to work on the car before contacting you, so I told them an hour and a half, but I could have chosen an hour to curb cost. Alex called me back about an hour later, saving me money with their speed and efficiency, with great news. The error code that came up ended up being a recall Ford had issued for my year and make, so the issue was covered under warranty. They even contacted a local Ford dealer to confirm this, and made sure that if I brought my paperwork that I would be helped for free. But the amazing part was that Alex said he felt bad that I had paid for something I didn't need, so they went ahead and reset my transmission modem anyways. So now my car is drivable and going to Ford is only a precaution. Since it was there already, I had them do my oil change and replace my wipers too. All in all, I'm shocked that in a big, strange city I was able to find such wonderful mechanics to help me. My bill ended up being a little over $150, for diagnostic, transmission reset, oil change, tire rotation, fluid top off, and three new wipers (one for my back window). That's insane! read more

A neighbor I trust recommended Rapco to me for quality service and fair prices, and my experience was indeed excellent! I went to Rapco on a Saturday morning because I thought my new car's headlights weren't working properly. Jay and his staff were friendly, helpful, and professional and said they'd take a look at it right away, and that I could pick it up after my dance class that morning, which was perfect. They called me promptly after inspecting it and informed me that my headlights were working just fine and that they'd willingly show me how to use the switch properly. When I went to pick up the car shortly before Rapco closed for the day, I was a bit lost upon exiting the subway, so Jay came and picked me up from Broad Street, which was very nice of him! He then gave me an extremely helpful tutorial on how to use the headlight switch, and another one on how to use the windshield wipers, because I'd told him I'd had trouble with that one as well. He didn't charge me for anything, and it was a pleasant and wonderful experience. I recently had a tire blow out and, since they had all my cars specs on their computer they had the replacement tire waiting for my car when it arrives. Just left here from getting my car serviced my brake light was not working and this was the 3rd visit to them for same problem. I've paid what my bill was EVERYTIME for this repeat problem repair and they had the nerve to say in annoyance that they aren't gonna keep fixing my car free of charge!! I have never received anything free from them not even a water! I politely corrected the service man and told him I've never received anything free from here and he couldn't even correct himself! Not only did I think they were good but customer service is important and they lacked it today! My job gets all 6 of our company vans serviced here But not anymore! I have been a customer for Rapco for several years and Mike, Jason, and Bill always provide exceptional customer service, and top notch workers who provide quality service fixing my vehicles. I am overdue to get my car inspected, but I had some major, and I mean major repairs that were essential to keep my car from breaking down. I would have failed my inspection most definitely. I have had issues with my exhaust for a few months now. Mike informed me my car will be driveable, but will continue to get worse the longer i wait. A few days ago I realized the exhaust is very loud. Mike and the team fixed the issue, found a way to cut the cost for me.
