I called for a water faucet leak on the side of my house that was the only thing leaking the technician knew that there was no other issues I had. The technician fixed my water faucet but when he turn the water back on my water softener was leaking a lot from the top now and he didn't know why and I told him well I had no issues you seen only my faucet was leaking not my softener and wanted 5200 to fix it wth I'm like it wasn't leaking before so what's different but he didn't know and don't agree I should be paying 5200 to fix it when it was there technician that did something while fixing my water hose faucet read more

I would not recommend this company at all. I called for my downstairs shower because it was clogging up. When the plumber came out, he looked at it and suggested that he needed to jet the main line.. nothing else was clogging up. He also said try not to flush any of the toilets because it would all clog up. When they came the next day, they jetted the main but the original problem wasn't solved. And I had to ask them again to snake the shower. After the getting of the main line, the plumber said my line was collapsed and gave me a $10,000 quote on how he could fix it.. these guys are shady . We got an advertisement and coupon in the mail from Rapid Plumbing and decided to try them out. Christian and Sergio worked on our kitchen sink faucet, RO water installation, and garbage disposal installation. First, they did a shoddy and incomplete job - the pictures show they did not reconnect the pipe from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal. Their negligence could've caused our kitchen to flood. Second when we called them to come back and complete the job, the girl on the phone avoided sending them back stating they are busy/have other work. We paid $300 only to need all of their work be redone. This is unacceptable and a waste of time and money - don't be cheap, find someone who will do the job accurately and stand by their work. read more

We called Rapid Plumbing for a clog in my mom's sink. Long story short, they stayed for 5 hours, got the house very dirty, didn't fix the problem, and caused a leak under the sink! Then they tried to talk her into eight thousand dollars of repairs. The next day, we got a second opinion. That person fixed the problem in 10 minutes. Charged less than one hundred dollars. Do not allow plumbers to perform services until you ask to see their estimate/invoice AND CONTRACT that they have you sign AFTER the work is done. That "contract" has a lot of funny clauses and fine print for ripping people off. NO CONTRACTOR does work and then has you sign a "contract" after the fact. Don't be hesitant and forget to ask when under pressure. They also seem to oversell to homes where there is unsuspecting elderly. read more

Said they could only slightly improve it and that it would need $7600 for a complete repair. I declined and waited a day for the regular plumber who came, fixed it, and only charged $250. They charged me $100 for the service call and were unable to unclog my kitchen sink. All they did was run a 25 foot snake and then tell me that it didn't get unplugged. Once again, my master bath shower drain was clogged, and I couldn't remedy it by using my hand-powered snake from the local hardware store. I knew it was time to call in the professionals! My go-to guys is Rapid Plumbing. Always professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and on time. They are not inexpensive, but they are definitely worth it. Simple declogging jobs to repiping jobs, these guys are legit, and worth the cost. My tech that came out this time was Jose Corea (also the field supervisor). I had asked for him specifically because he knew my house plumbing layout from previous occasions, and because he has always been very knowledgeable, professional, considerate, and does excellent work. Super nice guy as well. He ended power snaking thru both the bathroom sink line as well as the shower drain after diagnosing that the root cause of the problem was a T-connection underneath the house. As soon as he snaked thru both areas, the clogging was resolved. He made some recommendations for improving a portion of our plumbing setup, and said whenever we were ready to give them a call. He also cleaned up the areas he worked on and made sure all was working good. Sidenote: Another really good Rapid Plumbing tech is Galan. Saturday morning, I woke up to discover both my bathrooms were clogged. We tried to use the plunger to unplug the toilets and water was coming up in the tub and from underneath the toilets. I had called several plumbing businesses and they told me they'd call me back but 5 hours later....no response from anyone. I searched the internet again and came upon Rapid Plumbing so I called them. I spoke to the receptionist and she gave me an estimated time they would arrive and they did. Jose and his crew quickly diagnosed the problems, provided me an estimate and got to work. This crew worked quickly, professionally and answered all my questions. They cleaned up the bathrooms and the grass where they had to dig to replace a pipe. They also replaced the cement walkway, where they dug and left everything clean and neat and they also gave me a discount and a 2 year warranty on their work. I recently hired another company to finish the job. They took care of it @ $90, while the quote from Rapid Plumbing was $375.

I hate writing this review because we'd been very happy customers of Rapid Plumbing for almost 14 years. They've done small clog jobs to major sewer line replacements all the way to the street and done a fantastic job in the past. So much so that I told all my friends how great they were and recommended them without hesitation. Well, this last experience was so bad, I can no longer recommend them. Certainly, we will not return as customers. Here's a list of the bad news in order of severity. #1. We have an elderly husky with access to the back yard. One of the plumbers lied to his manager's face and mine when asked if he had secured the access to underneath the house. He said he had and I didn't check because I had never had any issues with people from this company in previous visits. I found out he lied (and so did all my neighbors) at 1 a.m. when my dog got stuck in the crawl space and howled for help. Thank God my son is old enough and strong enough to lift a 70 pound upset dog out of a tight space. The crawl space cover wasn't secured in any way. No screws in sight. Not even a token effort or sloppy job. Not done at all. #2 I am most upset about what happened with my pet, but close on the heels of that mess is feeling like I have been cheated. Rapid Plumbing has never been the cheapest company. They are mid to high range in their pricing. However, we felt they were worth it before this experience. They used to be professional, quick, honest, hard-working and people you could count on. They still have their high pricing, but not the rest of the great attributes that made them worth it. It says right on the invoice that I signed their recommendations for a new toilet. Guess what. No new toilet. Did they change the price? Nope. Not even when the toilet quoted was supposed to be $425. If there was no new toilet, then the $425 should have been backed out of the invoice, which the technician refused to do because it was only supposed to be included "if necessary." This is just plain robbery. If you go to an auto shop and they give you an estimate, but don't end up putting in the part because you don't need it, you don't then still pay for the part. So I wonder who pocketed the money we paid for a new toilet we didn't get? Very fishy. Either bad company practices, or they've got a big internal issue. #3 They left large expensive tools in my son's room blocking access to the bathroom. #4 They cut holes in our drywall to do the work and then didn't replace or cover the holes. #5 They tracked dirt (and worse) through both bathrooms, my son's room and my kitchen. No booties. No floor coverings. No clean up. None whatsoever. Any friends who know me well know I'm not the cleanest person myself and am not bothered by mess. So you know if I thought it was bad, it was REALLY bad. #6 They left garbage from the job and old pipe laying about my side yard. No effort at cleaning or picking up at all. Not cool. #7 They damaged a corner of the shelving unit in my son's room on the way to the bathroom. To sum up, they endangered my pet, cheated me on the price and were unbelievably sloppy with our premises and their own tools. The only thing I can think of that's positive about the whole experience is at no time was any employee rude or disrespectful. They were always polite. That's something at least. read more

They promised to show up within 24 hrs to turn off landscaping water line that was continuously running and arrived 48 hrs later and charged over $800 to simply turn off the water that took less than 1 hour without replacing any parts. I, very recently was faced with finding a plumber and it needed to be accomplished sooner rather than later. Rapid Plumbing happened to be less than 2 blocks from where I live,so I made the call. I have done business with maybe a handful of plumbers in the past. I figured,they are all more or less the same. They usually come in,do their thing and the jobs done,,,,,they are out of your hair. The guys from Rapid Plumbing however,take customer service and customer care to a level I never thought possible with plumbers. More specifically, Brian and Jeff. In one word,exceptional. They were friendly and so incredibly thoughtful. And the kicker,they 100% hands down,knew what they were doing and got the job done. I'm pretty sure we can all agree that when it comes to having plumbing problems,10 out of 10 times,it's probably going to be a fiasco, what can we expect,it's a problem with the plumbing,yuck! BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBING CONTRACTOR. WE WILL BE FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT AND NOTIFYING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. ALONG WITH THE CONTRACTOR STATE LICENSE BOARD (CSLB License 933848) A Tech named Jose came out to our condo because our water heater pilot would not stay on and we ran out of hot water. He proceeded to inspect the water heater, attempts to light the pilot inside the water heater. According to Jose the "pilot burner" lit but would not remain on. His diagnosis was the water heater was old and needed to be replaced. He offered to replace our 40 gal. water heater for $1,900! We held off thinking we had a warranty. Ultimately the fee for his "service call" was an astonishing amount of $125. He refused to take a card or check and he insisted on CASH ONLY. That left an unsettling feeling and we contacted another plumbing contractor who diagnosed the gas line was shut off. No replacement was needed, the pilot or thermostat was not broken. Dodge a bullet and do not use this shady business. They are predatory contractors who take advantage of on unknowing homeowners!!!!!
