Our 9 year old water heater decided to stop working on Friday evening. I tried to get it going again with my general knowledge, but nothing worked. I checked new unit pricing at Lowe's and Home Depot, but their units are built in Mexico, and have more problems than USA built water heaters. As usual, my go-to is YELP for reviews of possible experts that do work in the Irvine area. As I searched several water heater repair companies, I noticed that "USA WATER HEATERS" had 932 reviews, along with a 5 star rating. This definitely peaked my interest, as the other companies I checked into, had 90 reviews, 3.5 star ratings, 60 reviews, 3 star ratings, and so on. As I began reading the reviews for USA WATER HEATERS, I noticed that every single review, had nothing but positive comments, so I messaged them through YELP, and within 10 minutes, Dennis A, the owner, replied. After several questions and answers, along with the age of my current RHEEM water heater, I decided to have them install a new one, at a price I thought was fair. I know how much work is involved, as I installed the failed unit 9 years ago. Dennis said he could come by on Monday, to install a new Bradford White, 50 gallon unit, and I asked if a sooner time would be possible, and he said Saturday at 2. He arrived precisely a 2pm on Saturday, and said it would be about a 2.5 hour job ... One hour and 45 minutes later, he was done, paid and on his way. I will highly recommend USA Water Heaters to anyone in need of water heater services. As a landlord who lives out of state, my tenant notified me at 5pm on a Monday evening that the water heater was having issues. How was I to get someone out to the condo for a repair or a replacement ASAP? I turned to Yelp, to look for the best. I found a few highly rated companies and made some calls: the first, no response; the second had an after-hours person who was polite, took my information, and to this day, I have not received a call back. Then I called USA Water Heaters! I was almost shocked when Dennis answered the phone after the first ring. He listened to my issue and my desire to replace the whole unit. Dennis made some call and said, "OK tomorrow at 1:00 pm". The next day, Plamen Y arrived on time and got to work immediately. He was very kind, professional, to the point, made suggestions on how he would simplify the T&P piping, clean up before he left, awesome. By the time he was about finished the new water heater was already fired up. The piping work was so clean and professionally installed. He even made the flue pipe look better than before. My old 75-gallon Rheem Water Heater was 13 years old, and I was looking for a suitable replacement as it may fail at any time. So I started shopping for 75-gallon water heaters at Home Depot and Lowes with Ultra Low NOX (requirement of Orange County). Home Depot carries Rheem and Lowes carries AO Smith but both had bad reviews. So I expanded my search and found USA Water Heater with good Yelp reviews. It's also listed as Factory Authorized dealers in Rheem website. My installation is not basic as there is a re-circulation pump on a dedicated hot water return pipe. I contacted Dennis, the owner, and he sent Chris T to estimate my installation. Chris addressed all my concerns and gave me a detail estimate, which was very reasonable for a Factory Authorized installation. A Rheem Professional model with 8-year limited warranty was installed by Chris on May 18th, 2018 and finished the job as promised. He was very meticulous and the installation looks amazing as shown in the picture. I extended my warranty to 12-years by adding another anode. I believe this option is only available for professional models and for 75- or 100-gallon water heaters. There is no labor warranty for professional models by the manufacturer, Rheem but Dennis promised 1-year labor warranty and I hope he will stand by his warranty. I live in orange county california along the coast in a 3 bathroom house. My tankless water heater broke after 12 years of use. I found usa water heaters through yelps and they came the next day. I explained that I was worried about many of the tankless water heater companies because some have abnormally high negative reviews on amazon.com. They were able to offer me a wide choice of water heaters from many companies and helped me find one that was appropriate for my house size and that had the best reviews possible to find on amazon.com. Some companies had 11% 1 star reviews on the models appropriate for my house. Some companies had 40% 1 star reviews on their models appropriate for my house. They got me the best possible given what is available today. They gave it to me brand new at a competitive price and charged a very reasonable fee for the installation compared to what many other plumbers were asking me for. The owner of the company came along with his employee. Everything about them was very professional. Even their van was very clean and pretty. I recommend this company for water heaters before anyone else. Just do your homework on amazon.com and make sure you like the reviews on the unit you are going to buy before you have it installed. Dennis and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to meet my service needs! Our hot water heater blew very late on a Sunday night. Trying to get in touch with our Home Warranty company proved impossible until the next morning. When we finally made contact the next morning, they were unable to find any contractor who was able to come out the same day. So frustrating! They finally agreed to let us find our own contractor. Dennis had a technician to our house in less than an hour. I was on the phone with home warranty at the time and they were then telling me I had to give them an additional 4 hours to find a company to service, so the technician had to leave. We had to turn the main off the night before so water wasn't spewing out all over our home, so we had had no water in the house at this point for over 12 hours. It took me a half hour to get that problem solved. As soon as I called Dennis to say we were good to go, he sent his technician right back out, no complaints! The technician then spent a half hour on the phone with home warranty giving them all the pertinent information and getting the claim approved. Within 4 hours we had our new water heater! I recently had an issue with my Rheem tankless water heater at my rental property in Irvine Great Park, Orange County -- it was not producing hot water at all. Before contacting USA Water Heaters , I had already hired two other plumbers for the same problem. Water heater stopped working on a Saturday morning. If we didn't get it fixed we would have had to wait till Monday, with two young children that was not going to be an option. Called several places everybody was going to give me a higher cost for being on overtime on a Saturday or told me I had to wait till Monday. Then called Dennis and to save me money he said just to send a picture of the problem instead of him driving down and charging me. I don't normally have time to write reviews but sometimes I run into exceptional people and companies which I will make time to do so. There is a reason why this company gets over a thousand 5-star reviews. My parents are over 80 years old and disabled. Their water heater pilot went out and we were frantically trying to get it to work. I followed the instructions in the heater but could not get it to work. I called my contractor that installed the heater about a year ago and he was useless. That's when I called US Water Heaters and Dennis answered. I was desperate to get someone to come out to fix the problem so would have paid, but instead of focusing on taking my money, Dennis walked me through some troubleshooting procedures and got it to work without taking a dime. USA Water Heaters installed a water heater for me at my townhouse this past October. They did an awesome job from the beginning to end. The quote I got from Dennis on Yelp listed all the included items. He was patient as I decided on which company to go with which took me about 2 weeks to decide. Ultimately decided to go with USA because they were very accommodating to the specific water heater I wanted to have installed and was one of the lowest priced quotes. I opted for a more energy efficient Rheem 50 gal that had a Uniform Efficiency factor of 0.64 which they had in stock at their warehouse. This is just a traditional gas water heater but since it was the more energy efficient model, I was able to qualify the for the Southern California Gas company rebate of $175!!! Filip was the technician that installed the water heater. He was very polite and cleaned up everything neatly after the installation. If you need to have your water heater replaced, go with USA and ask for the energy efficient model to qualify for the SC Gas rebate before the it expires. read more

Our experience with US Water Heaters was fantastic. Our water heater broke on Saturday and Dennis, the owner, had a repair person come to our house the next morning, on a Sunday! The installation was done in 2 hours and was the least expensive price that we found for a replacement water heater. The first company that gave us a quote for $2,200 for a 50 gallon water heater (they also seemed dishonest in other ways). By contrast, Dennis charged us $1,350, which is more in line with other companies though still approximately $200 dollars less expensive. Many water heater repair companies will tell you that they 'can't give you a quote' over the phone and they need to see the water heater, where it is, and other such BS. I wouldn't let any such company into your home. They certainly can give you an estimate over the phone, and this is clearly a way to make you pay whatever they want because you've waited to get an appointment and you're desperate for a repair. I told him what type and size of water heater we required. The quote provided was competitive, so I accepted, and Dennis gave me a prompt installation date. My technician, Plamen, arrived on time to our home, was courteous and installed our new water heater. My 7 yr old water heater pilot light went out and would not light. Did some research online and narrowed it down to few potential issues. Decided to call USA Water Heaters based on the reviews on Yelp. Dennis answered early in the morning and said Val would be out in an hour. He arrived promptly on time (with mask). Val diagnosed the problem quickly and it matched what I read online narrowing it down to a few possibilities. He then priced out each of the solutions and said the cheapest one was likely the issue. Gave me estimates up front. After some inspection it turned out to be the most common problem (and most inexpensive). He had the parts, installed it for a VERY REASONABLE PRICE and told me what to watch out for as he sensed a potential slow roof leak based on what was happening below the water heater. Super professional the entire time and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend these guys as its hard to determin how honest some businesses are these days. This company is very professional and prompt in replacing my old water heater. At first I thought I found a local plumber who gave me the best price out of several calls I made, so wanted to cancel my appointment with USA water (btw they arranged a free same day appt right away) because how can a big company beat a local plumber? But Dennis reached out and said just give them a chance as they are local family buz as well. I was happy that they did give me basically the same quote. They have everything ready in his truck and installed it for me right away with a brand new water heater, with a great price. A week later there is some water pressure issue, called them and they send the technician over RIGHT AWAY, explaining a manufacturing part issue, but no worries as parts and labor are of course under warranty, they changed the part right away, promptly and professionally. I tried to call this company over the weekend to see if they could come and fix our water tank so that our family could get hot water. Although they were unavailable, Dennis was willing to try to give me some advice and suggested I look into either a recall or warranty. (Another highly rated tank repair company tried to get me to replace the tank and even misrepresented the manufacture date.) When I called the manufacturer to see whether the tank was under warranty or not, I soon found out that I still had a few months left. Good thing I listened to this company to check! Where to begin. A regular day and then you notice water where it is not supposed to be. You panic at first and then run down the list of immediate actions to take, and then try to find out where the leak is coming from.
