The first time was in March 2025 for what we thought would be a simple drain unclog but turned out to be a more complex problem. I called around 10:00 am for a quote to unclogged my kitchen sink drain. Oscar quoted me $75.00 for a basic unclogging. We scheduled an appointment for 12:00 pm. Excellent experience for and unpleasant situation. Had a leak in a water supply line inside of a wall on a Sunday morning. I hate to do this because I was so happy with him the first time around, but now I am more worried about what they put in my walls that I can't see. I had them go to another location to do some repair work on a water heater. They use sub standard materials. When I tried to get them out again because we sprung another leak, I was ghosted. The company that went out to fix the issue let me know that it wasn't fixed properly by Drain and Trenchless, that they used a part that is not really meant for what they fixed, which is probably why they didn't want to come out again. I hired Oscar and his team to help me complete a comprehensive sewer inspection when I was looking to purchase a new home. This home was a slab foundation. Being new to slab foundation houses I had many questions. Oscar was more than happy to help answer all of my questions/concerns no matter how small the question was. He was more than happy to explain things to my wife and me in a way we understood which we were able to convey to our realtor. With these explanations it allowed us to have better conversation about the house and our concerns with the seller. When he was completing his inspection, he allowed me to watch him while the camera was going through the lines which helped give me a better understand of how the lines were ran under the slab foundation as well as where they lead to the kitchen/bathrooms. He took the time and pointed out areas in the sewer line that he felt should be replaced/repaired as they could be issues. Oscar also took video and pictures himself for his report. This was great as I was able to use these videos/pictures when it came time to closing on the house. If he had not done this, we would have not been able to share this with the seller and raise our concerns. This footage supported our request on contingences. He did such a great job with the sewer lines inspection and documentation we ended up being about to buy the house that we really wanted. When we closed on the house, I hired him and his team to complete the needed repairs. On the first day of repairs, Oscar introduced me to his team, and he wanted me to be a part of the process on what to do. He gave me all of the options and was open about what repairs I needed to take care of right away and what repairs I could hold off on. This was great as we had just bought a house and the budgets were very tight. We worked out what to do and moved forward with the needed repairs. Oscar and his team did such a great job and come in at budget which allowed us to offer him another job to relocation our washer/dryer hookups to give us more space in the kitchen. It was a big job, but he did not shy away from the task. He was able to complete it within the time frame I needed as I had other projects lined up and was not able to push them as it would have cost me time & money. Had to replace a very old water heater that was slowly leaking in our basement. Oscar replied right away and asked me to send some pictures. He gave me two different options - to purchase the water heater and he would pick up for a higher fee or to purchase water heater and have it delivered to our house and he would just charge me for installation. I chose the latter - purchased water heater from Lowe's and had it delivered same day. Oscar had given me an initial quote to install, but after telling him that I wanted the work up to code and not just a simple swap out since our water heater was so old (make sure you specify this if it's important to you) the price went up but he was still the lowest priced out of everyone I got quotes from. He also accepts credit card for a low fee, which the other competitively priced plumbers didn't offer. (He sends a paypal link). Oscar and his technician Gustavo showed up the time they promised and told us everything they were going to do as they were doing it. They were nice and diligent. Gustavo was extremely knowledgeable about the water heater installation and all the piping in our basement.
