Car would not start or take a jump while in a shared building garage. While we thought it was the alternator, Bob came and determined it was the battery, which was dated 2/16. He went and got a new battery for our auto and installed, also stating our alternator was fine with his portable unit. Bob could not have been nicer and was extremely helpful to us. read more

If you actually get to reading this, look no further. Bob managed to make a potentially catastrophic day much better. This is one of the biggest floods we've had in a very long time. I called O'Hare towing and a couple other big ones but had no luck. Bob picked up right away and said he would be there in 15 minutes... He was there in 10, who does that. He drove into 6 inches of water risking his own equipment, & then only charged me $75 for the deal. Rapid Response Towing has picked up my Roadside Assistance calls in the past and never had an issue until today when it took four hours from the time I placed the request until my car arrived at the auto shop. I sent the request at 10:25am, received a text that they accepted at 10:33am, an hour later, around 11:30am, I called asking for the ETA and they claimed to have just gotten the call and it was going to 45 minutes. When they hadn't arrived by noon, I contacted Roadside assistance who called them and they said it would be another 30 minutes. Shortly after 1:30pm, they arrived--wait time 3 hours! The driver stated that it hadn't been three hours and that he still had five minutes to spare. The car was loaded onto the flatbed and dropped off at 2:20pm when the service center called me to report that the vehicle was finally there for my morning appointment. Disappointed and majorly inconvenienced...trying to figure out how to pick my kids up from school without a car that would have been ready by the afternoon had it gotten there in a reasonable time. read more

What can I say, when my gfs car broke down on us, I was worried I wasn't gonna be able to find a tower around my area at 330am. At this moment my gf started to panic, I started calling friends but none of them were able to help me out,i googled tow companies and went through the list. most of them said they were busy or i had to wait an hour. I called the rapid response and the person who attended me was very friendly, he assured me that he was gonna be in my area in half hour. 20 mins later fly by and he came to tow my gfs car, i was surprised at how fast he got there and the honest price. After car trouble, I was attempting to drive my car to the mechanic and it died on the way there on Labor Day. The truck came within 20 minutes, took 30 seconds to load the car onto the truck, and we drove the 4.5 miles to my mechanic. The driver was so friendly and helpful, and they charged $89.00 ($75 hook up fee, $3.50 a mile). I am glad they sorted me out quickly, and painlessly, AND they took Visa! Thanks guys! read more

July 20th one of the hottest days of this summer my little puck puck gave out at 5:30 pm during rush hour, I thought I was going to be there for hours. I called a well know towing company they said it would be an hour to an hour and a half. I googled Rapid Response towing and within 23 minutes he was at my location! He had me sit in the air conditioning while he loaded the truck and in minutes I was on my way home. And let me tell you i did NOT get ripped off and knowing how desperate I was to get towed he sure could have. Anyway, I completely recommend this towing company. We had a nasty surprise waiting for us when we returned to our car near O'Hare from an extended trip - a ruined tire. At 10:00 on a bitterly cold Saturday night (-7 with wind chill) Bobby went above and beyond to get our spare released from the rusted clutches of a badly designed holder, enabling us to limp to a local hotel and take care of getting a new tire the next morning. Great service and fair price ($85 hook up +$3.50 a mile)!. Bobby will go out of his way to make sure you're taken care of. My car got stuck in the middle of traffic in the city and he was there within half an hour to take me back to the suburbs. He dropped me off at my house then took my car to a lot. I've never had any trouble with my car that required road-side assistance. However, today was a first when my car literally just stopped running while driving 75 down a rush-hour packed I-90. I had no idea what to do since I know absolutely NOTHING about cars. I was finally able to restart the car and get it off the expressway and into a Walgreens parking lot. I called Rapid Response Towing company and was VERY pleased with the amount of assistance I received. Not only did the guy over the phone ask me relative questions about my situation, he guided me through every step of the way. I waited about 40 minutes (My quoted time was 45 minutes) until I received a call that traffic was a little backed up and it would take a tad bit longer. I was very pleased to have the company follow up with me and keep me updated and calm during a stressful situation. I Myself, who works in customer service was enlightened and stress relieved that Rapid Response Towing was very informative. After the tow truck arrived. Graham, who was the guy there to help was immediately very friendly and helpful. Talked me through every step of what was about to happen and assured me on a price quote which was completely reasonable with the amount of service I received. These criminals appeared after my wife called CAA to get our car towed. They pretend to be CAA. Told my wife to move while she asked if he was CAA. After forcing his way to hook up the car, he told my wife it would be $60 to tow. Gatineau police were called, and the police told us that although he had it hooked up even though he wasn't authorized, we had to pay him to tow it. The cops bargained with the tow truck driver. We had him drive down the street to a Canadian Tire. The guy tried to extort $60 after the police confirmed that he would do it for $40. Be warned, do not let these guys touch your car if you have CAA. They are liars, and took advantage of a woman in distress. read more

These guys were the most profession towing company I ever dealt with. I was locked out of my vehicle in an off site parking lot due to the parking lot company leaving a light on and killing my battery and then leaving me high and dry. After trouble shooting briefly on the phone, they sent out their locksmith. The guy (I apologize as I didn't catch his name) was the most professional person I've dealt with. After traveling for a week and a four hour flight it was the last thing I wanted to deal with and he made it very easy. He was able to get into my vehicle (which is a BMW and known to be difficult) and got me on the road quickly. He even gave me a jump. If you are ever in need, these guys are the best.
