One day driving by my daughter said "hey don't you need a wash" and I turned in to check it out!! Turned out I was pleased with my rapid wash. They have 4 different car washes to choose from $5 being the lesser and $14 being the max. I went for the $14 wash to get the extra polish and tire shine. They also gave me a coupon for 50% off the next wash within a week. The coupon could be used with any car so it would only be $7 for the wash I got. Not sure if this coupon is offered every time but can be useful. I did think the price was a bit high since I been to others for a few dollars less. As for the wash well you put it in neutral and let it roll getting scrubbed and soaped by large sponges. At the end you get tire shine and they have large blowers to help with the dry. They have parking spots with vacuums and air blowers. There is a vacuum hose and air hose on each side of the car and work really good. I had some car rags in my trunk to dry some areas but overall it was good quick wash. read more

This place is SO convenient. The line may seem long, but trust me when I say it goes by supper fast. It's a little scary going into car washes like these were you have to put the car in neutral, get a soapy windshield, and trust that the machine will not have you crash into the car in front of you... but once your over that, it pretty cool. And free vacuum along with a air hose to help get ride of the extra water on your car. Love this place, it's worth it! read more

Fried my headlight bulb. $245 bulb! I only know this because the next time I went my whole dash went haywire giving me error messages that my blinker was out, then adaptive headlight. Thank goodness it dried out and I didn't have to replace more bulbs. Never again. read more

Very fast but inefficient. The line moved very quick and the experience is kind of cool, however the end result is anything but ideal. After going through the wash cycle, the drying portion goes just as quickly and my truck had a lot of water still visible as I drove away. After 5 minutes, dried water spots were visible throughout each surface of my vehicle and windows. read more

My first time using this car wash. I bought the everything wash. There was a huge line. There's 2 lanes of cars and I'm pretty sure the car that was next to me got my full price wash and I got the basic. I rarely wipe my car after a wash. It air dries great at my usual car wash. But this one left water spots all over my car. Part of the reason I think I didn't get the right wash. The other is that I got no tire dressing but the other car did. I have no way of knowing what wash I actually got. The sign as I went it wasn't working. I won't wash there again. Such a rip off. read more

To begin, I have been a member of their car washing services for about four months now. I am a frequent user of the car wash and have had 2 bad experiences. Let's start The quality of wash -it is nothing new to use the air gun to always go all around your car (if not you could you could end up with water spots) -actual wash quality is alright. Some good days some horrible days. Do not expect a super clean quality wash -the person at the front who guides you into the belt almost always is having a conversation with someone inside while guiding me. Not sure about you all but I personally do not like being directed to go to the left or right while he guides me. I have had my feet off the break both times I almost hit the car in front of me while in neutral being screamed at to let go of the break and clear indication of hands off the steering wheel. Overall writing this review for my negative experiences here. Also I will be canceling my car wash membership here and will be looking for a less crowded & better quality car wash. read more

I can't believe I'm leaving a review for a car wash but my experience was that bad unfortunately. When I pulled through the wash and into a spot to wipe my car down, the entire front of my car was pretty much still dirty and somehow not even touched with water. It's like the brushes didn't even penetrate the hood of my car so it was completely filthy still. I literally drove home and washed my car all over. I like the customer service that the manager on site provided, Mr. Eddie Pax, he was cordial and attentive to install my car wash sticker pass. Customer service is what I like and the best part about this place is that they have a conveyor rather than the tire moving vehicle mechanism, especially for lowered vehicles! The vaccums are powerful with the narrow edge TIP, great for naroow crevices and under car seats, along with pressure squeeze air gun for the rest of the hard to reach vents and cracks in/out of vehicle. There are many stalls for vacuuming as well for both sides of parked vehicle. Price is fair for the monthly basic washes to the premiums as well for UNLIMITED washes, great! For me,.. this is the perfect place to get my Soccer Mom minivan washed. If this place didn't exist, then I would be forced to either wash my car on the street or go to a gas station car wash (*ughhh). Okay.. so it's easy. 1) Pay ($5 wash for me.. unless I have a coupon) 2) drive your car.. put in neutral (no waits.. maybe 1-2min at most) 3) In less then 2 minutes, your car is done.. 4) Drive to a stall and vacuum or air blow your car dry! I had a family member visit from france.. and he was amazed at this big car wash. I love the ability to vacuum myself. Of course, I understand how people could knock off 1-2 stars. Con's: a) when busy.. it's hard to find a stall to vacuum. The attendant told me to park in the handicapped stall as it was the only open one. I felt uncomfortable doing this. b) the $5 car wash still leaves alot of water drops on your car. So expect to spend some time air blowing the rest of the water off. But really.. what can you expect for $5 or $10. Part of me always wants to sign up for the monthly deal.. but I hold back since I know I'll be wasting water. read more

I got into a car accident a few days ago because my car got stuck at the end and the car behind me hit me. My moms car has gotten stuck in the same car wash and they will try to put the blame on you no matter what. Just be careful because they don't care about what happens to your car. My dads windshield wiper broke off because of it and they tried to say it didn't happen there until they found the piece on the floor. read more

Had a bad experience today at the Rapids Express Car wash. The employees failed to stop the belts that push the car forward when the car in front of mine stopped at the end of the car wash, so my 4runner was pushed against hers and of course hitting her car. I had to honk for a while before the car behind me was going to be pushed up against mine. Only then did they stop the car wash but only to let her leave and leave me inside unable to get her information because she speed away. Although I see it more the fault of Rapids Express Car wash since they after claimed they had cameras and monitor everything. But when I asked why didn't they see that her car was stopped, the manager Eddie just said well we had another customer asking our employee a question and he didn't see it. All he said was if I wanted to file a claim, as if this happens often. And when I asked him why they didn't give me a receipt when I paid in cash, he said he was going to get me one, then came back and said he could not find one and that they normally capture our license plates, but that this time they didn't, seems strange. He then went on to say they had cameras everywhere, which I doubt because if they did, they would have stopped the machine. Good thing for me I had my dash cam running and captured it all. I couldn't find a way to post it here on yelp. Follow up 4/3/2021: So I get a call from Eddie who says he was the manager, and says he's not the guy I spoke with on the day of the incident. But sounded like the same guy who I spoke with the same day of the incident. Talk about making things worse, he went on to suggest that they would provide the information so I can file a claim on my insurance company, what???? It was their fault, happened inside their car washing system! Why should I have to file a claim through my insurance company? And said that it was the fault of the car in front of me because she placed her car in park while on the drive belt inside the car wash, but when I told him it was them that kept the car wash belt, moving the cars causing the crash! They could have stopped it but they didn't! The phone call was pointless, he never apologized for what happened, so when he asked me what "he can do to make things better", I told him "you can start by admitting it was your fault, that you didn't stop the machine on time", he remained silent on the phone, seems they don't like to take responsibility for their actions. There was no point to his call, he had nothing to offer as a resolution. read more

Wow I was really surprised about today's encounter. I was greeted by a manager when I was about to vacuum my car. I thought for a second," oh he just gonna say, hi!" He approached me and explained how I was flagged down for "excessive use of car wash." At this point, I was really confused since I was paying for an "UNLIMITED" car wash service at your premium car wash rate of $27.95..... So I explained to your manager how I haven't been to the car wash for over a month or so since CA has been raining for the past 3+ weeks.... and how my car started accumulating a lot of dirt, Debris, yellow pollen sap, salt debris, bird droppings and etc. The manager understood my situation and I explained to him to let YOU at corporate to know that your bullshit flagging technique is really unprofessional and condescending. Why do you offer an "UNLIMITED" car wash service if it's not unlimited....? Went through first time and paid for the Top/ "best wash". (Like $15) I was a tiny bit disappointed with the cleanliness of my car. Mostly good, but not super. I chalked it up to having too high expectations, because truth be told I probably did. Then the supervisor/manager was walking around and talking to every customer to ask about their experience. I expressed my little concern and he told me I could go through again and even threw in a free towel! Wow. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. 1000% recommend. I used the towel and some elbow grease to take care of a couple areas (like caked on dirt on rims) This automatic washer does a pretty good job for $15. Its not a miracle worker though! Worst car wash I have ever been to, I have a brand new black truck, this is the only place I have washed my tuck because I have a account with them. I noticed I the sun my truck had a lot of swirl marks all over, I showed the manager and she took pictures and made a report and said they would get back to me and take care of the problem, never heard from anyone, poor management and disregard to their customers, very unsatisfied and will never go there again and will tell everyone I know not to go there. read more

This review is for the person(s) that made the decision today to refund the money to me after the misunderstanding of when I cancelled my monthly plan. (FYI-I only cancelled this as we moved further away, not that there was anything wrong. After several months, I looked at my bank register and saw that they were still charging us for one of our cars. (We had 2 cars on a monthly plan) So, assuming this money may not come back to me, I got a hold of Marvin at the Orange location and he was amazing...While I was a bit perturbed, Marvin immediately said things like "that's not right" and let me see what I can do. He took my phone number and said "it may be tomorrow before I'll know anything". That said, 20 minutes later he called me and said they would reimburse all of the money. That is what Customer Service is all about! The price is fair, if you do the monthly rate. When it first opened, I had no problems here. Now over the course of the last few months, each time I go here, something gets messed up on my vehicle. I always fold in my mirrors and they have brushes that rip them out and bend them backwards. Now recently the black rubber trim that runs along both sides of the roof on my brand new Toyota Tacoma, was either ripped out or blown out by the machinery. Recently I noticed that the vehicle is still completely covered in water drops and must be hand wiped down. This wasn't the case when they first opened about a year ago, so I'm suspecting something isn't working right. Now I am paranoid to go back here and I will probably cancel my monthly subscription. I don't know if the machinery is out of adjustment, or if I was just lucky for the first few months that nothing was wrecked on my vehicle. read more

I stopped by to give my car wash last night and I was impressed at this gem. I was skeptical to was my car at night but I was desperate. There is good lighting which also made me feel safe. I've been to different express car wash places and none have been this nice. There are no brushes to wash the car which is great because there is a lower probability of scratching the paint. The car wash uses rags instead of synthetic brushes. Earlier in the day I got goo all over my car at the grocery store..and I was worried the rags wouldn't be able to wash it off. It did! The drying part dried my car 95% which is a lot more than the other express car wash on tustin ave. There are also compressed air hoses at the vacuum bays to get any excess water left over. The vacuum was decent, not the best but not weak either. Overall it was a great deal for $8 and I will be coming back. read more
