I would not recommend this car wash to any one. Terrible customer service. I've been coming here for about three years as a member. I had an incident in the car wash where my passenger side mirror was broken off. They denied the claim because there was a small spot of yellow paint transfer from who knows where. Just silly to let a customer go over a 300 dollar repair. If they are going to claim to not be responsible for mirrors and antennas then they need to have the attendant push the mirrors in before the customer drives through. Came in on a Sunday around 2pm. There were a lot of car but they were moving them thur quickly. They attended directed me on how to pull into the wash. I got the basic for 5 dollars. 1/2 thur the wash stopped. Then about 2 mins. later it started again. Got my car nice and clean. I opted out to do the vacuum as there was a line and only a few on. Great car wash! I'm out here often since I manage a rental property in Orange so I decided to bring my car here one day after lunch. I was very impressed by how detailed and thorough the machines cleaned my car and I only opted for the basic $8 car wash. It left hardly any water marks and the vacuum station had extremely powerful vacuums which cleaned out all the debris on the interior. If only they opened up one closer to our neighborhood, I would be a happy gal! But for now, I'll settle on stopping by whenever i'm in the OC. This is my favorite car wash it's a really nice location and the car wash itself is really good my car comes out really clean I get the 16 dollar wash you get half off on your next wash with that one . You can get a monthly membership as well those are a great deal the staff is always really nice and helpful. So I'm kind of mad at this place because they took over my favorite Dim Sum place. It's off Tustin near Meats in Orange. You can't miss it. It's huge. Easy access in and easy access out. On a happy note, I'm excited that this place is here when I'm in the mood of a quickie. First you get it nice and wet, then lather on the soap, spray it down with water and get it nice and hot so it dries. Super cheap too. I mean it's no hand job, but it gets it clean. If your feeling extra dirty you can pay a few extra bucks and get a few extras added in. This is a drive thru. You pay, then drive it through. When your done you can vacuum it and use the air compressor yourself. Easy peasy. If your like the Mister of mine, you bring your own detail bag and stay an extra hour to get the job done right. So the Mister drove his one of his Mistress's out here the second night it was open. Her name is Sammie. She is the exact replica of his other Mistress Sunny. Both of them are black. Yes he has 2 cars, almost exactly the same that he loves more than me. I am okay with that. Well Sammie came home, clean as she can be for her age. My main squeeze Vader has also been here. Vader is very special. He is also black. Yes we have a entire family of black cars. Vader is also lowered. Some lowered cars have trouble navigating through car washes. Vader did great. We always spray him with a quick detail to get him extra shinny. My other car, has not been here yet. Yes another car. She's a little bit bigger. A bit harder to clean. She's looking forward to coming here. Most places charge extra for SUVs/Trucks/Vans. Here it is all one price. For a drive thru, it's not too bad. It's not perfect, but no drive thru is perfect. Its not going to be 100% clean or spot free. Expect to do a little extra work on your own to make it shine. Vader gets his shine by our hands and hard work. I'm a fan. read more

Rapids Express is a fun and inexpensive little car wash to quickly drive thru to get your car looking presentable again. You start by driving up to the booth and paying for a wash service. There's about 4 different tiers of wash with the best service coming in at $14.95. You then put ur car in neutral and ride through the car wash tunnel. Just this experience alone makes me happy and nostalgic for my childhood of driving through a car wash. After your cash is washed they have individual stalls with vacuums and air to self complete the drying process. If the vacuums and air aren't enough they have areas where you can purchase towels, glass cleaner air fresheners for a reasonable price (btw $1-$3). If you like, they also offer unlimited washes on a monthly plan. Each plan pays for itself after the second wash which a really great purchase point if you are someone who washes their cars on a weekly basis. So where I live at the birds seem to love to poop on my car. It's so frustrating. Luckily I found this place in which I pay monthly 19.99 for the convenience of being able to wash my car unlimited. Boy I can really tell you that I have definitely gotten my money's work. Now the car wash itself is self drive self dry And self vacuum. For an additional charge you can pay to have armour all on the tires. I did that once and didn't really see a difference so I opt out of that. I will say it does get extremely crowded depending on the day of the week like weekends so be prepared if you come on a Saturday or Sunday. My only complaint would be that I wish that before going through the car wash that they would use something to wipe the windows down as sometimes when I go through I still have bits of bird poop on the window. I have been to other car washes and they provide that service so hopefully this one will catch on. Overall I would say that it's definitely worth the money to get a monthly pass. Not the same quality as it was 3 years ago!!! Went there today got the top priced car wash and once we are ready to dry and vacuum the car on the side, we noticed so much black spots!! Turns out it's from the tire black. The guy brush it off and told us it's fine. I am very disappointed already at this time so we drove off. When I got home there's a lot more all over the car!! I live very close by needed a quick car wash. Thought I'd give this place a try early on a Saturday morning unfortunately there's nothing rapid or express about it. It's like calling In-N-Out drive-through fast food. You're in line for 20-30 minutes anyhow it took about 15 minutes to get into the wash because they couldn't seem to get people out of there or through the pay gate. I had to get out of my car and ask if they can move some cars away because I was trapped so I could just leave and go somewhere else I would've been finished already when they finally did get me in there was some confusion at the start of the wash water squirted with soap in my car, cause I was still talking to the person directing me in never had that happen before and then you zip through the thing so fast your car doesn't even get cleanand the tire sign thing never came on at the end. Amongst other things. I couldn't even tell what I got pretty ridiculous. Don't think I'll ever go back. Need to get a refund after I got home and checked it out, There was crap all over it. I had to take it somewhere else to get it re-washed later in the day after my appointment that I wanted it to look nice for. read more

TLDR: I bought the most expensive wash and my car is still dirty. There's not much to say here. I came back from a road trip and my car was covered in dead bug and road grime. I splurged and bought the $15 package which included all the bells and whistles. I went through the wash and yet the bugs were still there and so was most of the grime! What's worse is that the wax and polish went on right over it, so all that filth is now sealed on it. If your car is already washed and waxed and you just want a touch up, maybe this is the place for you. But if you actually need it washed, don't bother. read more

I've been using Rapids Express Car Wash since according to them 9-18. When I signed up for the monthly plan they said I could wash it all I want during the month. I was thinking that's a good deal. They hit my CC YESTERDAY and when I come in today they tell me that they are terminating my account due to me washing it too much and because I have recently started driving for Lyft. Funny they wait till they pull my almost $30 from my account to do this rather then just cancel the account last month. That right their is shady business practices. Also if you do have a monthly plan they will stop your account the day they try to bill you and it gets declined. That's understandable but then they keep hitting you CC until they get the monthly payment even thought they aren't allowing you to use it. Again SUPER SHADY. A bit disappointed with the way business is handled at this establishment. I can't say that I'm sad to find another place that's for sure. * UPDATE* I received a phone call from Lauren even though Eddie said he was going to call the day he told me all of this about them terminating me. Lauren said they would refund me in full but they would like me to take down my review. I feel like I deserved the refund & also that the review should remain. I can't understand the difference between "UNLIMITED WASHES" but If you drive for a ride share even part time they want more money for less washes? If you don't drive for a ride share and you get " unlimited washes " you better be careful not to go over the "Unlimited" quota they apparently have set up. Somehow this makes sense to them. I used the carwash 1 time. They were running a special for their 1 month half off, which was about the price of one wash, so I decided to get the monthly. About a week later, my car was run into while it was parked. I contacted them through the website explaining what happened. Because I didn't have my car (at bodyshop) I didn't have the receipt or the plate number. I did have the card it was purchased with. Mike was kind enough to look it up that way and cancel the membership. Usually it is jumping through 20 different hoops to cancel a membership until you cancel the card... but here, they made it easy!!!! Only downside is they are on Tustin ave and sometimes it blocks traffic to have the line in the street. read more

It's alright of a place. I have this subscription with them. This membership. With it. I am able to frequently visit this establishment as I please. I pay the monthly fee. And I visit as I please. It does get really busy. Every day. I feel like it's busy all day. Every day. It's annoying. But I can see why. I'm not the only one with the membership. So I want to assume that is to why. The best time to arrive is early in the morning as soon as they open. Because a lot of people like to go later in the day. Best time Is right when they open. Every once in awhile when I get off work I notice it's less busy. But that's just once in a while. It's always nearly packed. The people who work there. In my opinion are useless. I mean. They don't really do much. They don't help you with anything. Just give you basic turning instructions. One time I was already vacuuming and I was already in the middle of the cleaning. And some random employee walks up and removes the hose I was using and replaced it right then and there. Like couldn't he had wait after I left? I felt so disrespected. I've been an Unlimited club member for the Best Value ($27.95/month) since August, 2019. The car wash itself washes pretty well, and the line moves relatively fast. It's a popular place, and that says something about their quality too. The staff are pretty kind if you are kind to them. the tire shine leaves black smudges all along the sides of the car, from bumper to bumper. I'm cancelling the subscription now because I was just charged more for this month and saw the prices rose from 27.95 to 29.99. I received no notification or notice of this change. Yes, I know it's just a couple bucks but his makes me concerned for how much they can change and charge without notifying their club members first. Plus, I will not receive a refund for this new charge due to their policy. It's simply a business I don't want to support any longer, and I thought others deserved to know. Seldom do you get good customer service these days, but Eddie and Marvin took such good care of me. I accidentally locked my keys in my car while vacuuming. I went to talk to them to let them know I was going to have to call AAA. Instead, Eddie said he could unlock my car just as AAA would do, and he did! Then my darn battery was dead so Marvin came to the rescue and had a jump pack to start me asap. These guys went out of their way at 7am to get me back on the road.
