This car wash used to be my favorite but it is always sooo busy now. I bought a membership for 25.99 for unlimited washes which I used about twice per month. I bought a new car and tried to change to license plate to a new license plate and they wanted 7.00$ just to change the vehicle. I had also planned to add a second plan for my daughter who is driving now. Additionally they raised my monthly fee by $5.00 per month this year without any notification. I enjoy visiting these rapid car washes and this one is definitely a must try. I feel it is convenient that you can just drive in and get a pretty decent car wash. The plus though is when you get to park and vacuum your own car and do last minute touches after the wash. I always pay for the top of the line wash and I am pretty satisfied with it. Sometimes my car doesn't dry fully so I use the air blower at the vacuum station. It helps for the most part and can avoid any water marks. The vacuums are amazing though and can suck up all the dirt which is great. Other than that, be prepared to wait because it can get busy and most stalls are usually full so there may be a little delay. Overall, inexpensive and fun experience! read more

For a good, quick wash, this place is great. This car wash is conveniently located and the staff is friendly. When I don't have the time for a full detail, I usually come here. When I received swirls in my paint from one of those "hand wash" car wash places, a friend (who is professional detailer) recommended this car wash. When I can't take my car to him, I come here for quick washes. For about $14 for their "Best Wash", my car looks pretty good. After not hearing back I spoke to the same manager again and provided him with dealer repair quote. Again he said he would contact corporate. I clearly had lots of questions about how to get the cheapest monthly washes for two cars, they didn't hear me, charged me the for the wrong wash which wa s'more expensive and I was like ok cool hopefully it's better since it's the mid tier, it didn't clean my bird poop and was hardly any better than the basic 8$ wash. They're shady here only cool thing I can say is their conveyor bet is nice and new and equipment is nice. They have compressed blowers and vacuums. Don't pick the inside line or you could get a salesman and get charged more than what you came for. read more

I paid for the #2 which includes the wax for $13. My car came out still dirty and lots of stains and drops were not being washed off. I actually took my towel and used the water on my car to wipe off all the unclean dirt and spot. Back windshield was still dirty also. Felt this play isn't as good as before. I am not sure if I would be back here again. It does not feel different between #1 or #2 regarding to wax. It says spot free water however my mirror still has spots...If you paid to the person, they gave you an alcohol wipe and dash wipe. I think if you pay with the machine, you may not get it. read more

Rapids Express Car Wash is a clean modern way to clean your vehicle. The idea is that you pay, drive up and onto a conveyor belt, while relaxing and letting the machine do all the work. Rapids Express is located on a large lot. Driving up is simple and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I was able to easily ask questions about the process and pay for the wash. I decided to choose the unlimited monthly. This is especially a great value if you have a vehicle that sits outside and needs to be washed often. The unlimited #3 "Good Wash," which provides a bit more cleaning and drying, is only about 20 bucks, and you can go as often as you want. As you enter the wash, there is an attendant ready to assist positioning your vehicle on the conveyor. You simply drive up and put the transmission in neutral, leaving the car running. As the vehicle was pulled through the process, I was impressed by the amount of water, soap and scrubbing that was provided. The scrubbers appeared to use a cloth material that appeared soft and non-abrasive. Lots of soap dropped down from above as the scrubbers cleaned the top and sides of the vehicle. I was a bit concerned about my factory roof racks, but it was not an issue. As you near the exit of the wash, large air blowers force air from all angles, blowing off almost all of the moisture. Upon exit, there is a lighted sign that says to "relax" and then when it lights up "go," you simply put it in drive and exit the wash. Just outside the wash tunnel, there are a huge amount of bays with air hoses for blowing off any remaining moisture and also to vacuum your vehicle. Hoses are found on each side of the car, which is very convenient. I was impressed about the amount of water that had actually been removed from the wash process. Tip: If you have driven your car on a lengthy road trip and have bugs mashed on the front of your vehicle, it's a good idea to hit it with a bit of bug remover or soap and lightly scrub before going through the wash. Usually that stuff has been pressed and dried into the finish and a little effort will make your wash experience much better. Overall, Rapids Express did a very good job and cleaning my SUV. It had recently been driven on a road trip and the wash removed over 95% of the dirt and debris from the vehicle. If you're like me, and have multiple vehicles, using Rapids Express, to help maintain some or all of your vehicles, is a great value! read more

The car wash is getting worse and worse. The machine no longer gets my tires and rims clean. For $20 getting the best car wash is no longer worth going to. I find coming here is not worth the money. I use to come here because it was convenient for me in my commute but alas I will no longer come here. I talked to an employee about my issue and he told me to just use my towel to clean the rims. So I had to use my own towel and clean them ruining my own towel. I can't use it on my car now. Terrible customer service. read more

A few things could use improvement!! They need to Stop Stacking cars on Top of each other. They need to allow more room between vehicles at the entry point so that each vehicle has enough time to drive off at the exit. Second, the employees are getting LAZY! They don't even bother to put TAPE on the back of the windshield wipers anymore! The last 5-6 times that I've been there, they didn't bother. My last Leased vehicle had the plastic pop off. I would not recommend this car wash to any one. Terrible customer service. I've been coming here for about three years as a member. I had an incident in the car wash where my passenger side mirror was broken off. They denied the claim because there was a small spot of yellow paint transfer from who knows where. Just silly to let a customer go over a 300 dollar repair. If they are going to claim to not be responsible for mirrors and antennas then they need to have the attendant push the mirrors in before the customer drives through. Came in on a Sunday around 2pm. There were a lot of car but they were moving them thur quickly. They attended directed me on how to pull into the wash. I got the basic for 5 dollars. 1/2 thur the wash stopped. Then about 2 mins. later it started again. Got my car nice and clean. I opted out to do the vacuum as there was a line and only a few on.
