I actually found Dr. Rapisarda after a tooth cracked and my former dentist didn't have a way to help me during "off" hours; no way to leave message or get a referral. I was lucky enough to connect with Dr. Rapisarda during that emergency and he got me in quickly to fix my tooth. He is so good with Novocaine and how he administers it, painless. Recently I experienced a crown that was leaking. I feared what a painful, difficult, mess that would be from past dental work. But, SURPRISE....another painless, easy, beautiful replacement! Great dental office on the eastside of town, very professional and such a friendly team. Dr. Rapisarda is very genuine and a great Dr. He has a great team and a great family culture in his office. If you are timid / dont like the dentist or worried about costs. This team has your best interest first. They communicate clearly and try their best to do the right thing. They are a great group, and will stand out from pretty much any dentist you have visited. I have had fillings, crowns, cleanings and small work done and can say, they do a fantastic job. Like so many folks in Camas, my husband and I have been coming here for years. The staff are always nice and friendly- from reception to the hygienists and then of course Dr. Rapisarda. I only come for my twice yearly cleaning as I'm thankful to not have any dental issues, but the staff seem to remember me even with my rare visits! The only con is the parking in the lot where they are located is very small and crowded. And the clinic can be tricky to find when you first come as they are in a business center. read more

I recently moved to Camas from San Diego where I had a dentist who I LOVED. I was a bit hesitant to commit to a new office but this quickly dissolved as soon as I walked in the doors at Rapisarda Family Dentistry. The entire staff is genuinely helpful, kind, and warm. I got my cleaning and even jumped on the boat for Invisalign after having an informative (but not sale-sy) conversation with Dr. R. Wow!! Every part of my experience was top notch. I called as a new patient and Kim was able to get me in. She really means it with her job, she isn't going through the motions. She emailed forms over and everything was a breeze. When I arrived I was given a cool gift. Total surprise. The staff genuinely connected with me and when Dr Rapisarda came out and he looked right at me, without face mask, and actually talked to me. Got to know me a bit and then looked at my teeth. I've NEVER had a dentist do this. Normally they come in, mask on, talk to hygienist about my situation and say minimal things to me. I was also able to schedule my follow up apt while in the chair and everything was so easy. Very glad to have found this place and I've never been so wowed by a first impression. read more

Dr. Rapisarda lies to his patients. The front desk will rob you or your insurance carrier. Doctor tells you your crown is made from the lab and you later find out when it is your mouth, that it is done in house and looks and fits like garbage. He makes more money when it is made in house! He cannot properly fit his house made crowns worth a poop so he will drill and drill it down until the crown has no texture on the top at all, just flat and ugly. Update: Dr. Kristian Rapisarda was willing to assist me in a pinch! On Wednesday morning, a composite bonding on my right maxillary lateral incisor broke off while eating after 10+ years without a problem, leaving a sharp point that cut my lip causing a canker sore. On Thursday evening, I contacted him to inquire if he was working Friday and if he could help me before a business trip I was traveling for on Sunday morning. Without skipping a beat, he offered to fix my tooth on Friday morning, normally a day he isn't in the office. I'm so grateful he did because he did a fantastic job in less than an hour and my tooth looks better than before! Now I have my confident smile back as I head to work this week! Dr. Rapisarda was highly recommended by a friend and since I needed to find a new dentist after recently relocating to Vancouver, WA, I made an appointment. My first appointment was a consultation followed by a dental hygiene cleaning. Check-in was easy, x-rays...no problem. My consultation uncovered two problem areas, one that was caused by my previous dentist, and another hidden cavity that was missed by my previous dentist too. Dr. Rapisarda's keen eye saw them both and recommended a treatment plan, which the front staff printed out for me upon checkout so I would fully understand the cost of treatment before agreeing to next steps. I had an awesome experience getting my teeth cleaned by Chelle who was professional and delicate with my mouth. She was great about explaining things as she went along; very friendly too. The next week I had my follow-up appointment with Dr. Rapisarda. He too was professional, attentive, gentle with my mouth, and gave painless injections to numb my teeth for the two fillings I needed. Dr. Rapisarda is friendly, easy to talk to, and demonstrated care & concern for me by ensuring I was comfortable. He talked me through the steps of the process so I would know what he was doing. He asked several times for me to let him know if I needed more anesthetic by signaling with my hands. I had virtually no residual pain and my bite feels perfect. My daughter and I have been pleased with the care and service here for over two years. Overall quality and gentle care. I have had a few issues with the support staff that have caused me to move dentists. One assistant told me personal issues about herself and it brought up personal uncomfortable memories- and I told her as much to help her put it in perspective. Then recently, I had a rough 24 hours- an 18 year old pet dying, a rough day as a middle school teacher and between confirming my appointment on a Friday and Monday afternoon, I forgot my appointment. When I explained how I was a bit off kilter with all the events going on, the receptionist was less than sympathetic, she offered no concern, but instead said, "You EVEN confirmed on Friday", Subtext: aren't you stupid? read more

After relocating from Colorado, my family was in search of a great Dentist. The Hygentist took great care of all of us. It was my 5 year old's first dentist experience and he came out all smiles as Shelly took the time to explain each procedure to him and answer all of his questions. As for my experience, I have a high pain tolerance, except when it comes to dental procedures. However, the experience was very comfortable and the entire staff ensures you are comfortable throughout. Dr. Rapisarda took the time to explain procedures, listen to concerns and ensure my comfort. I initially chose Dr. Rapisarda's office because of the extremely close proximity to work. After visiting his office for a regular cleaning and then to have a wisdom tooth extracted, I will definitely be a permanent client. My hygienist was friendly, personable, and did a thorough, yet gentle, job of cleaning my teeth. They have top-of-the-line technology for digital x-rays and cavity detection. I was very impressed. After being examined by the doctor, he suggested we pull one of my last wisdom teeth and replace an old filling. We set up an appointment for the following week. That appointment went so smoothly - in fact I wasn't even aware the wisdom tooth was out! All of a sudden I hear, "You're done!" and that was it. Dr. Rapisarda followed up with me later that evening via email to see how I was doing after the extraction, which was much appreciated. Overall, great office with great people and a great experience.
