She did the exam though got her insurance information and charged her 1500.00 which she only gets 4000 dollars worth of work every year, and she needs it get 2 root canals. I had an old root canal that had the filler pop out 3 days before my wedding. Dr. Bharathi, Madison and the rest of the staff not only fit me in same day, but got all the work except the final crown done. A few years ago my regular dentist recommended 6 extractions. My insurance did not cover him. He referred me to a periodontist. The well respected periodontist recommended the same 6 teeth to be extracted. He wrote the six teeth down for me to give to dr bherathi. She dismissed me as i handed her the information. ( i chose radiance denta since they accepted my insurance.) Dr bharathi wanted to pull all six at one visit. The hygienist said No, do not let her take all six at one visit.i had three pulled and came back one week later and had the other three pulled. She really struggled with two resulting in her cracking the root of another molar . When i returned to my perodonist he informed me that dr bharathi had taken two of the teeth he wanted left to use as supports for a partial denture and she left two damaged teeth he wanted extracted. When i set a meeting to discus why she pulled two good teeth and left the two my perodonist and regular dentist both recommended to be pulled she physically walked away from our meeting while i was talking. WARNING!! This is my warning to our local community about the questionable practices of this dentist based on my personal experiences. I had my suspicions about this practice for close to 5 years but continued going because it was very convenient for my quarterly teeth cleanings. My suspicions began when they pressed hard for a review the moment I signed on as a new patient. I never give reviews until the end of my treatment and time proves their service to be satisfactory. Suspicions grew after I asked for a referral for a reputable ortho. I was referred to an ortho I felt was incentified. It was an awful experience and clearly an orthodontist that didn't know what she was doing or fresh out of school. I can explain if anyone wants to reach out personally. Long story short after researching ON MY OWN, 5 different orthos I landed on Dr Croft with Columbia Orthodontics. Nothing but pleased. Best orthodontist in the area. Funny thing, ran into Dr Bharathi and her child at Dr Croft office and it confirmed on my mind there was some sort of incentive for referring to the very inexperienced ortho and not to an ortho she thought would be best for me. Why wouldn't she refer me to Dr Croft if she trusts her own child to go there? Hmmmm. Not to mention the amount of X-rays I received each time I went in for a simple cleaning every 3- 4 mos. Was that medically necessary to expose someone to that amount of radiation? Don't know, and likely not, but I'm sure it was billed for. Further if you have ANY fear of dental work, be warned she does not have a gentle touch. After receiving a quote recently for veneers and crowns totaling around 16k+ (4 crowns that I was told for years (!) that I needed costing 4000). My suspicions peaked each year when they kept asking me before year end, whether I had pain and wanted to have the crowns taken care of, all along being told I needed them. First it was one crown then grew to two crowns over the years and then a whopping 4 crowns each time asking if I had "pain". Got a second opinion today from another local dentist after asking Radiance staff to forward the X-rays (never happened wonder why?) Upon new X-rays taken today by new dentist discovered that 4 crowns were NOT needed at all! 4 perfectly healthy teeth! If I had not gotten a second opinion I would have gotten unnecessary dental work done on 4 healthy teeth and been out $4000. Is this medical or insurance fraud? Probably but the truth is out. Dr Bharathi is definitely in it for herself and not looking out for her patients. Guarantee 90 percent of these positive reviews are all posted within first week of being a new patient because they come at you hard to get that review in. Borderline harassing you until you do. Go anywhere else. Do not trust your dental health or money to this dentist. (I had to remove her name to submit this review) I have had nothing but issues with the dentist here. I'll get right to the juicy part and then fill you in on the rest below: She is consistently in a rush, overbooked, and at least a little frazzled. During my last visit, the inevitable happened: Rolling in her chair over to me directly from another patient, she stuck her (gloved) hands in and around my mouth, wet with his saliva. The smell of another person's saliva under my nose, on my lips, and feeling it on my cheek was horrifying. Knowing that I had a stranger's saliva IN MY MOUTH was horrifying. I could smell the stale cigarette smoke and see the level of decay in the gentleman's mouth. I had to deal with this knowledge and that smell until I got home to wash my face. It wasn't easy avoiding swallowing during a car trip after being so shocked by what had just happened. Other issues: I had a flipper made that didn't fit my mouth at all. I have been wearing these for years and understand that new flippers are uncomfortable at first while your mouth gets used to them. This one was painful and barely fit in my mouth. this dentist was already annoyed that it wouldn't fit, but I wasn't upset, these things happen. I wanted to let her make it right. After a few rounds of her trying to shave the flipper down in the office to make it fit (with her getting more and more annoyed with each attempt), we re-did the impressions to have a new one made. When the next one came in, it was just as ill fitting and uncomfortable as the first. I tried to get used to it, wearing it while I slept and taking pain pills hoping my teeth would adjust (in the 30+ years I have been wearing these, I heave never had to do this). I kept going in for her to adjust it in office, but we never could get it to fit properly. She was always annoyed and tried blaming everything else around her for the issue. Again, I wasn't upset! I just wanted a properly fitting device. The last time I came in was when the above incident with the cross contamination happened. I knew then that I was stuck with this flipper as is and would need to go to another dentist to get a new one. If I contracted something incurable like herpes from this dentist I would only have myself to blame for continuing to visit this dentist after so many red flags and unacceptable behavior. Additional notes: At my first appointment with this dentist, she recommended a deep cleaning. For reference, I have been to several dentists and they always comment that they can tell I take great care of my teeth and have never had a recommendation for a deep cleaning or any similar procedures. She also recommended that I remove a (fairly new) crown and have it replaced. I bought into both of these procedures without a second opinion, thinking that I must just be aging or something to warrant the deep cleaning and maybe something was wrong with the crown. Nope, she just wanted to find procedures to charge for and I fell for it hook, line, and sinker. However, I was STILL trapped with this dentist! This saga began over a year ago, and the wet mouth incident happened several months ago, at least 6 months ago. Why the delay in this review? Because they have been "working" with my insurance since then. They did their expected insurance coverage review and made it sound like my procedures would be covered. Every time I follow up, they tell me they are "still working on it" and have the unmitigated gall to ask me to schedule another appointment! I have had a couple of appointments with a new dentist since the incident and just keep putting them off, hoping they might actually figure out insurance. Well, I finally heard back and SURPRISE! Insurance won't cover anything. Please learn from my mistakes. You only get one set of adult teeth and healthcare is EXPENSIVE! The assistant that was helping me explained everything she was doing. I was never left sitting there wondering where everyone was or what they were going to do next. I don't know how express my gratitude to the entire team at Radiance dental. To add a bit of context: My first visit with DR. Charugundla was back into 2018, I had two wisdom teeth removed. After that visit I thought about how well I was treated and how nice the office was. Since, I moved to FL for 8 years then back to Washington state. Only now, I was in need of oral surgery to remove the last wisdom tooth that started to give me pain only recently. After a highly informative consult with DR. C and her team, she was confident that she could remove my wisdom tooth! I had lost hope on getting this tooth removed due to it being impacted in my gum.. 8 long years of being turned away from multiple dentists until I rediscovered DR. C's office again. Her competence, skill set and amazing bed side manner is something I'm so grateful for. I've never seen a Dentist care about her patients the way she does! A true angel. Furthermore, I would love point out once again how clean the office is! The ambiance is so inviting that it helped calm my anxiety. Very easy to schedule an appointment with, after finding them online I filled out a new patient form with my time preferences for an appointment and someone called me the next day. I was able to schedule for the same week. Their forms can be filled out prior to the visit online too to save time. When I arrived the team was professional and nice. I got x-rays and they used a scanner type of technology to 3D photo my teeth to review with the Doctor during the exam. No concerns, said my teeth look great. So it's been a little over a year since the most traumatic thing happened to me, I tripped, fell, and busted my lip and 2 front teeth, on the Friday before Halloween, of course. Now it was horrible, but let me say. Dr. Bharathi and her team squeezed me in, on a Saturday, on HALLOWEEN, and stayed late to get me taken care of in every way possible. When I was little I was afraid of the dentist, and that fear went with me for a long time, they have been so patient with me and they've really shown that they care about me. As for my teeth and my smile, they had me with temporary teeth within 72 hours, and my permanent gorgeous crowns in less than a month. No one knows they're fake, but it's a damn good story to tell. Not to mention my old teeth were a little crooked and slightly too big, so ya girl got a better smile out of it. Really though, I don't think I'd be as lighthearted about it now if it weren't for everyone at this office. Dr., Raj, Monique to others that aren't there anymore and every other person I've met there. Thank you for making me enjoy the dentist for once, regardless of how ridiculous my reasoning for walking into the office for the first time was. I have to request time off my work in advance only to find out the last minute I can't be seen. This has happened three times in a row. I've now visited this place twice, and had great experiences both visits! Their staff is top notch when it comes to professionalism. I have state insurance, and have visited other dentists who provide care to the state insured. None even come close these folks. Their staff also works very well with toddlers. I brought my 2.5 year old son here, and they did a great job working with him despite all the challenges my son threw at them :D Dr. Bharathi is fabulous, and works very quickly while maintaining a high level of care and concern for her patients. I want to give a 5 star rating for the dentist and hygienists because they were all wonderful with both my boys. The facility is very nice, with spa like massage chairs and scented warm towels after teeth cleaning. The procedures were painless and a good experience. The information was well communicated and genuine care was given. Highly recommend. So the one down side...I made appointments for my kids and when I called to confirm, they didn't have the appointment...and the young woman I spoke with ( who I'm pretty sure is the same person I made the appointment with) couldn't figure it out and didn't apologize, then handed off the call to someone else, thankfully. They got us in the next morning. When I went there, the same young gal was nice but definitely not competent. She didn't seem to know what was going on and struggled both with rescheduling and payment. The other office staff were fantastic and very professional. My aunt always is so keen on making me feel comfortable when I visit. That's exactly what this staff does! They ask great questions, they always check to make sure I'm not in discomfort or hurting and those massage chairs! Briana was great and I loved the Montana connection through our conversation. This dental office and all of it's employees are incompetent! I spent hundreds of dollars there on my teeth doing deep cleanings trying to save them. I was making progress so they said. All of a sudden the appointments stopped being made and all contact was lost, so I found another dentist and went there tonight. I was told that there was no way that deep cleanings had been done on my teeth, my teeth are in seriously bad shape and there may not be any thing I can do to save them. Dr. Bharathi refused to give me the one thing I wanted, insisting that she needed to remove my wisdom teeth first since it might obstruct the crown later on. Given my previous experience I was absolutely terrified to let her back into my mouth to rip out more of my teeth. Eventually I worked up the courage and made the appointment. It was just as horrifying as the last, aggressively breaking my tooth out of my mouth, cutting the outside of my mouth in the process. After a good while of her tugging and pulling at my other tooth (the one I ABSOLUTELY NEEDED to remove before placing my crown, according to the doctor) was not ready to come out. This doctor physically was not capable of completing the service she DEMANDED that I needed and that I already paid for, and then gave me the OK to move forward with the crown, basically proving that she was just scamming me and I didn't even need to remove the teeth in the first place. My wisdom teeth weren't bothering me, they were not impacted, breaking through or causing any pain whatsoever. I was referred to Radiance because I need an implant to my front upper right tooth. Please understand that I have already spent $30,000 on crowns and veneers for the 8 teeth above and below that show when I smile. When I discovered that my right front upper tooth was a bit loose when I went to get a routine cleaning, Kaiser did an xray and told me that implant would be the best optoin seeing that I had bone loss that wouold not hold a re-cement. They quoted me $8000 for implant. I then searched around and got quotes from about $4800-$8000. When I happened on Radiance I had an appointment to see Dr. Vasilli, Oral Surgeon at Radiance, I waited an hour and a half and was advised that he was still in surgery. I had to leave to pick up my wife. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Vasilli called me personally and profusely apologized that he was involved in a major dental surgery that took much longer than anticipated and asked me if I could come back , he would see me and consult my case. I went back at 8:30at night and had consultation with him. He has a great manor and made me feel extremely comfortable about the whole proccedure which he explained in detail. After that, Dr. Bharathi , whob is the owner of the clinic, called me to schedule next appointment.. These days, what doctor will actually call you? NONE! Except these people who care enough about their patients. Not only that but the staff; Inna (pronounced Ena) and Victoria, will call you to see how you are doing and remind you of every appointment. Dr. Bharathi cares so much about her patients, that she calls everyone to askl how they are doing and advise them of anything they have questions to. Never have I ever felt so great when walking into A dentists OFFICE! I want to give Dr. Bharathi a hug every time I see her . She is genuine and warm. I went to Radiance Dental for a couple of years while I had my braces. I've never really had an issue with cavities but while I went to Radiance I had 4. The first two I figured were because I wasn't able to brush as well with the braces. The second 2 I started to wonder. I had issues with them billing me too much and than taking forever to reimburse me so I decided to skip my 6 month cleaning and didn't get the cavities taken care of. A year later I find a new dentist. I never mentioned the cavities. After a complete set of x-rays and and an exam I'm told I have no cavities and my teeth are very healthy. I'm just wondering where the 2 cavities went and I'm also wondering if I even had the other 2 that I paid to have filled? I'm not very happy. read more

I went to "Radiance" Dental last week for the first time, to have 2 cavities filled. I was told that I needed 3 filled, and was told that one of the 2 that I was told by a previous dentist, wasn't needed. The dentist, Dr. "J", who first worked on my teeth, filled two upper molars next to each other (I think the 3rd one was on the bottom ~ no one told me where the third one was) and for some stupid reason joined the two together with the filling mixture. There is now a space above the filling that food gets stuck into, which is the point of where the two teeth are naturally separated. Near the end of the procedure, while he was filing my teeth, he "had" to leave and go to the patient in the next chair. (He was the only dentist there that day) Why in the world he couldn't finish is beyond me...as he was almost done ~ AND my appointment was before hers. So, he had an assistant ~ NOT a dentist, take over for him. She proceeded to keep on filing. When she finished, she just got up and left. This was on Wednesday. The teeth were so un-aligned with the rest of my mouth, that I was unable to chew. I had to eat softened Cheerios for the rest of the day, including the next morning. So, I called the next morning to have the filings completed. Dr. J wasn't there that day; he was at another dental office. So, I had yet another dentist supposedly "fix" the problem. He filed and filed. The bite was "fine", until I went to eat something when I got home later on that day. Now, when I chew, one of my top teeth near the front of my mouth keeps hitting the bottom one, causing great pain, which has caused very bad headaches and shooting pain from the nerve in my top tooth. I will NOT go back to them as they make things worse every time I show up. Thanks a bunch, guys. read more

Very nice staff... however, the male dentist dropped sharp tools in my mouth a few times while he was doing work and seemed to be a bit sloppy with his work, as if he was in a hurry or something. My bite after the filling he did was way off and had to go back to get it fixed. They were using a "softer material" for their fillings and said it didn't want to bind to my teeth when this has never been an issue at other offices I have been to and I have never heard of that... haven't been able to chew on one side of my mouth for 5 months now and my filling they did is chipping away... terrified to go back because every time I have to follow up to go get something re fixed... going to a new dentist tomorrow to get my fillings fixed. I was hopeful that the issues only would happen once or twice but I ha e gone back 4 or 5 times now and each time something is wrong. read more

First, they did not listen to my concerns and cared about my health, but money they can get from me. Second, when I went to a different dentist, and asked them to send my x-rays - refused, and said that they don't have my signature to release my records to other clinics. Finally, when I came, 20 minutes from my home, to sign the form the older office lady said, that she didn't know if it will be done, because the girl that was responsible for it was out and she did not know when she will be back. Horrible company. First time my husband and I went there, it took over 1 hour from my husband's appointment time before he was seen. During that time I signed my ROR to have my records transferred to them. The person couldn't figure out how to use the fax so they ended up needing to reschedule my appointment. So when they called to remind me of my next appointment I asked them if they had received the records and once again they didn't send over anything to request them. I called the other provider and had them directly email me the records and forwarded them to Radiance Dental. On the day of my appointment we sat in the waiting room with my kids and they had an adult show on that had a lot of swearing. Once I got called back the dentist refused to do my evaluation unless I paid $45 despite having state coverage complaining "it's not fair for her to do it for free". It was one of the worst evaluations I've ever had. She wants to redo every filling and another crown, she didn't care about which teeth hurt. She went so fast she didn't even realize I already had crowns and didn't explain why I needed another crown all of a sudden and failed to address ones that actually need it. I asked the assistant why I needed another crown and she said she'd ask and call me back but never called. My husband had an appointment that day also. His appointment was at 11:20 and they didn't start working on him until about 1 1/2-2 hours later. They were supposed to fix 2 "broken" fillings and fix another cavity. All they did was fix the "broken" fillings and never fixed the tooth that was actually bothering him because "they ran out of time". My husband's teeth have hurt since going there and haven't gotten any better. Now we need to find another dentist to fix their mistakes and figure out what's going on. I've really enjoyed my first visit here--well, as much as one can enjoy the dentist. The service was extremely friendly and I would love to come back. I was looking for a good dentist for years, hopping from one dentist to another. The service was really fast and they got me scheduled to an appointment the following week.The atmosphere was very professional and the dentist really seemed to know what she was doing. She was really polite and professional. I have never had this kind of dentist experience in my life. It was not painful whatsoever, and made me love the dentist again. The procedure I had done was the laser cleaning.She was really informative about what she was going to do. It was almost impossible to be scared. They also found 6 small cavities and had scheduled them to be fixed at different times. I was a bit uncertain about that because I am a working man, and cannot really afford to take time off of work.So when I came in for my first visit, and got the first 4 fixed, they offered if i would like them to fix the last 4 cavities! These "kind" folk misled us on pricing. They quoted my husband an x amount without insurance to remove wisdom tooth. As we were walking out they convinced us to give them our health insurance, because "we will benefit". In the day of the operation, they actually made him pay more. Why? They double charged us and insurance for initial appointment, then hiked up price on the tooth removal appointment. Please don't go here ever. read more
