The person who answered the phone was very cheerful and was able to schedule an appointment for me very quickly. When I walked in to this location, I was greeted by the front desk associate. She was very friendly and it made me feel valued and welcomed. She told me that my stylist wasn't there yet, but would be with me as soon as she arrived. My stylist, Sarah, arrived a few moments later and warmly greeted me. I followed her back to her station, and we talked a little bit about what I was looking for. I showed her a photo I found on Pinterest, and she said she would be able to help me achieve the hairstyle I was looking for. I went in with hair a little longer than my shoulders, and left with a very cute pixie haircut! Sarah did a great job balancing conversation with efficiency in her service. I enjoyed how quickly yet thoroughly she was able to cut my hair. I received a wash, and she put curl cream in my hair when she was done. I appreciate the extra attention to detail she gave to my hair. I was very nervous going in, but I appreciate that she didn't hesitate to give me what I wanted. I went inside and asked the receptionist who then brought me outside to show me the four spots available for customers to park in. There was one spot left as we watched an SUV pull into it, and hit the car next to it with a loud crunch as we watched. Her comment to me was, "well I guess it's a good thing you didn't park there ". 2) the person that colored my hair, really struggled with not getting it to turn fire engine red and pumpkin orange. He finally got it to about the right color, after a few tries, and several hours. He was nice enough & did his best, and I realize he's learning, but at these prices I expected a little more expertise rather than experimentation. Still, I would have come back if it wasn't for the 3rd event. 3) what finally really sealed the deal with me on not coming back here and leaving this review is the fact that when I paid, I was charged a service charge for the entire bill because I was using my debit card. Being that I was paying over $500 because I also bought products, it turned out to be quite a hefty service charge. I've never had any credible business charge me a service charge for using my debit card before in my life. Not even the coffee shop charges me a service charge for using my debit card. After complaining about the bizarre service charge and told I could walk across Florida Avenue to find an ATM...., as I walked out receptionist then started giggling about I guess my ridiculousness to the stylist standing next to her.
