Was there today with my daughter. We ordered garlic Naan and Butter Chicken. The food was absolutely delicious! They have counter service for ordering but the food is brought out to your table when ready. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was immaculate and there was complimentary chai and candy coated fennel seeds for after the meal. Im so glad to have found this restaurant. I'll be back often! read more

It's good but not as good as Welcome Indian. I miss their malai kofte. Also, Rasoi's baseline spice level for "mild" is a little spicier than I was used to. But the food is tasty. read more

First time ordering from here since this restaurant opened and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I had food delivered and arrived quickly, chicken tikka masala medium spice with garlic naan and came with a side of rice. The spice was perfection, perfect levels and the flavors delicious! I have been going to Rasoi since it was a sit down restaurant and now a take out restaurant. I found their food to be good but their advertising deceptive. I got an email offer that listed 8 entrees and said any 2 for $27.99. When I picked up my order and brought it home, I realized I had been up charged an additional $5.00. When I stopped in the next day to bring it to their attention, I was told it was because I had chosen "meat" dishes (4 of the 8 entrees offered in the weekend special were chicken). I pointed out that that was not specified in the email and was misleading advertising. The person I spoke to said they would get back to me later that day. I never heard from anyone nor did I get a response when I sent an email. There are plenty of other Indian restaurants on Route 9 to patronize so I will take my business from now on to an honest one. read more

We had the opportunity to visit Rasoi, by chance without any prior experience. we were in the neighborhood and went it around 8 30 PM. As soon as we went in, we placed our order through the Kiosk and were waiting for table. The staff were courteous and managed to quickly set up a table for us. We started getting our food within 10 mins and just with the first bite, we were able to realize the freshness and quality. Thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we had and we had a memorable food experience here. Kudos to the entire team and the effort that went in with food preparation. This place has impressed us right away and will definitely be a regular here from now on. One of the top three best food experiences for Indian food we have had in the North east US. Wishing them for a great success and hoping the quality and service to remain the same in future as well. False advertising. I got the chicken kathi roll and what they are giving is definitely not what I would call a Kathi roll. They basically take a paratha and smash a seekh kebab and roll that up and serve that to you. Some of us know our food. Please either serve the right food or change the name to what you are actually serving. Also they tried to give me a vegetable appetizer even tho I ordered a meat appetizer. I recently had a chicken dish which was awesome. It had plenty of chicken and veggies. The gravy was spicy but they cooked it to perfect mild heat. The Mulligatawny soup was rich and full of veggies. Overall experience was great. read more

One of the most disgusting and disrespectful owner , long story short one day he approached me telling me I gave him a negative review "lol" because he associated/ assumed my name to someon by the name "Noorani"because my name is "Noor " insulted me in front of his staff telling me that I changed my name to "Noorani"& posted that review "Bingo "...How does that happen? Yesterday I ordered food after the last winter from his restaurant and everything I ordered was very hot and quality/ quantity was not appropriate . This morning I called and told them that the food quality has really changed in terms of quality and quantity however the guy who took my call was polite and said sorry! And said we can make you the same order today which I honestly wasn't expecting so I told him it's okay I can take the refund however he insisted. I went this evening to pick up my order and was waiting in my car in the parking lot the owner honey sunny whatever his name is came on to me yelling and shouting how dare you call my restaurant and complain about the food. I told him at least a several times to please stop arguing and leave me alone however he wouldn't stop. I believe they have a camera in the back of rasoi which clearly shows his behavior. The only reason I am writing this review is because I am still trying to understand what is my fault and is it a crime to have similar names. Please try to be really careful and safe every time you go to this restaurant. The owner expects people to only love his food and no complains. read more

We eat a lot of Indian food. The new Rasoi has fantastic food, very quick service and I would highly recommend!!!
