Not my favorite place to go for my chamango fix.. The chunks of mango are too big for my liking.. I've been to two other places that make better chamangos with way better flavor..and the price is cheaper. It's clean tho, the service is ok.. They have seating inside which is nice. I went here and ordered a chamoyada raspado and a small elote (corn in cup). Let me say, everything was delicious!! The raspado had the perfect balance of sweet, sour and spice. The tamarindo candy straw is a nice touch. The corn is a little hard, but I will credit that to being fresh! Will definitely come back! The only complaints I have are that I stood at the register for almost 5 minutes before someone noticed from the back that I was waiting to place my order. They could use a bell at the register. Went there twice got in once this place is slammed all the Damn time, they do some very good Chamangos and Yummy Pico's, Very tasty Bionicos and refreshing Raspados. The line moves quick but its a long line. The strip mall sucks when it comes to parking and the area is not the best after dark. read more

So for a graduation party I was assigned to bring a Bionico, and was recommended to a place in El Monte which my aunt always buys from. Never the less I was not going to make that drive, so I decided to yelp "Raspado" and this place came up. The Bionico which I ordered for the Party on Saturday 6/7/2014 was the best. Hands down beat the El Monte location by flavor and quality. Everyone at the party was comparing the 2 Bionicos and said Raspado Xpress is the best. No lie, very glad I made this choice. read more

Can't find any problems with this place yet, they have good raspados. Try el diablito for a spicy flavor. One issue that some might not like. It's CASH or DEBIT CARDS only. 50¢ charge on debit cards. read more

They add way more ice than they do anything else. I understand it is shaved ice, but when they add less of a flavor it makes it pointless. I saw other reviews saying the same thing which is really true. I asked if I could pay for another full price with just the nuez to add to the "just ice with a little bit of the flavor " they said no. I asked why and they just said unfortunately they couldn't do that. Doesn't really make sense right? When I was on the phone explaining it to the person who ordered it the cashier turned around to someone else and rolled her eyes which was really upsetting as a customer who genuinely wanted something from their business. The whole interaction was uncomfortable and she charged me 50c extra for something when I ordered the same thing I always get and never get charged the 50c. This is my 2nd visit to this location.....long line.....strange thing is I don't care because I know how good the drink will be. Now I normally drink water and anything with alcohol. I tried the pico de gallo at another location, and now I am like an addict always wanting to go. As usual it was delicious. My bf and I got a chamango and a strawberry smoothie/raspado. They were both delicious! The chamango had just a hint of spice which for me is good because I don't like an overwhelming spiciness in my chamango. I did go back yesterday, there was 2 girls making the raspados and one at the register and they would switch off. but there was 3 other people in the back, one went back with food he made for himself and there was a girl just talking and laughing. that's ok I assume, but not when there's a line of people to the door! I think it was maybe 10 minutes, could have been more, till I placed my order. the girl that took my order is always fast, as soon as I placed it she got right on it. it is usually packed tbh, but if there's more employees in the back, then they should he working knowing there's a damn line! it was very good alot better then last time, always enjoy coming here, the girls are never rude to me, and usually fast after you put your order in. all in all its a good place, they just need more employees that are gonna help when it gets bussy. read more

This is more advice than a review. I am not enough of an expert on Raspado to really review, but the line was out the door so it is definitely popular. Nevertheless, if you are a gringo like me, the Specialties may not be for you. My husband saw a lot of people ordering these so he came back with a Chamango, Trompo and Champina for him, me and our almost 4 year year old. I am not surprised this did not go over well with a pre-schooler, but even for me, the drinks were a bit to spicy/salty. I ended up draining out all the liquid and then mixing the fruits/veggies together for kind of a spicy fruit salad, but there is no way I could have had more than a few sips of that liquid. Next time, I would probably try a simple fruit flavor. read more

This place is a chill spot to pick up a cool drink, but I must say every time I come here the place is packed and not because customers keep coming in to buy constantly but because the staff sucks ass! They are slower than slow poke to take your order and to have it done to pick up. This place is ridiculous they have like 15 people working behind the counter and they all still suck at attending costumes faster, wth are they doing back there? Acting stupid to not work?. This place has been the same for over two years now and only getting worse, just today they were forgetting half my order because they can't seem to keep a straight head and push out orders efficiently. Great Service and the prices are excellent compared to other Rasapdo places I have gone to.

I've had several of the raspados and they all have tasted delicious to me, however, the chamango is hit and miss. The last time I went I counted I only had 3 chunks of mango, while other times it is filled with mango chunks. Nonetheless the taste is great. Would be perfect if they would add the tamarindo straw. The only downside is the long lines. There was only 2 workers in the front and a few more in the back. 5 stars for the workers hard work and effort :) read more

They need to hire MORE people. It takes up to 30 minutes just to get fresas con crema. Everyday there's a long line. The cashiers are multi when they shouldn't be. There should be one or two people in front and the rest making the orders. Just the way zurys raspados do it. They have one person in front and the rest in the back.
