You could tell…read morethat this place doesn't normally host folks in their dining room (I think every other person that came in was either picking up a delivery app order or was waiting for an order that they'd come in to place and take with them) as the staff was a bit awkward about things like providing us glasses of water, but ultimately they quite kind. The dining room itself was very small, a single picnic table, and they had a large industrial stand fan running in one corner. It was warm but the fan brought it to the perfect temperature. The food is unbelievably good. I had their chicken sandwich with a side of fries, and you could tell that everything was made fresh from scratch. My friend had the chicken quesadilla and it was so huge and delicious he had to stop himself from eating the entire thing! While we were waiting, we got to see some of the other foods being made. They made their pancakes from scratch - not from a mix! I'm definitely going to come back next time I'm in town!

Traveling through the area, was looking for a breakfast/brunch spot on our way out of town and first and when 6 people walked in, the entire vibe shifted in the place. We were told that they only do online orders and pick up basically, but we were in a tour a van and did not want to eat eggs on a 90 degree day in a hot van, we asked if we could sit, and they said "no problem." But then it became a problem. The two working here decided to start playing very loud grime/trap music while sat there as they made our food. They increased the volume of every track and even as the orders came out, kept turning up the music. After they said we could eat in the shop, they continually raised the volume on the music to an unbearable point, even clocked the one of the chefs going to the ipad to raise the mix even further, and we all ended up taking to go. I get it. You don't want people in the shop. You don't have bathrooms, theres not a ton of seating, and this is a cool stoner delivery spot. But everyone, including myself, tipped the workers on the orders and just tried to have a quick bite so we thought it wouldn't be a problem to eat and be on our way. It was so obvious that these workers do not want people in their store or for diners to enjoy themselves there. Again, the food was really good, but I didn't want to eat it in a tour van. I know that may be selfish of me, the customer, to want a place to eat something with gravy and eggs, and not in a steamy enclosed vehicle, but wow, it was so obvious that we were not allowed to be in there from the vibe. Not to mention, one of the folks in my party clocked that 2 cops were outside rummaging through the trash - so not a great look on this restaurant or neighborhood. The food was so good it still gets 3 stars from me, but I will be ordering on line for pick up next time.

The decor has changed since the last time I visited (more moody & cozy color scheme) but it still is and always has been a vibe!!! On my most recent visit I got an iced vanilla matcha with oat milk and an avocado "toast". The matcha was well blended and balanced between the matcha and vanilla flavor. My toast came out as a croissant piled high with fresh avocado, pickled onions, blistered tomatoes, micro greens and everything seasoning! So filling and delicious! I originally sat at a high top table in the front so I could eat and work easier at the same time but eventually moved to the low table conversation area in the back when I needed an outlet (the tall tables in the front by outlets were all taken). I also noticed that on wednesdays-sundays the shop is open until11p and that there are daily happy hour specials from 4-6p with drink and dip specials! Would love to come back one day to check this out! Definitely check out MidDay if you are in the area looking for somewhere to relax, catch up with a friend, work (be mindful of finding an outlet), or go on a date.... And yes I saw people doing all of these during the hours I was there!

First impression? It definitely gives off biker bar vibes from the outside, but once you step inside, it's way more welcoming and laid back than you'd expect. Good atmosphere, friendly people, and the kind of place that feels like a hidden local favorite. I ordered the Biker Burger, and it absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly, and packed with great taste in every bite. You can tell they care more about making good food than trying to be fancy. If you're making the trip to Buc-ee's and want something local instead of chain fast food, Rip Rap Roadhouse is definitely worth the stop. Great burger, cool atmosphere, and one of those places you're happy you discovered by accident.

Classic tavern setting but great outside deck & patio. Room for live music and both bar & restaurant seating. Service is casual and friendly but efficient and smooth. Food is casual but barbecue and smoked wings are where it is at! Homemade kettle chips are good & the onion rings are real & crunchy! Beer is cold & plentiful, and the bar is stocked. When I am going from west to east or north to south, this and the Buckhorn Tavern are my two must haves! Highly recommend!

Today we ordered the mixed family broasted chicken and no issue when we were told there woukd be a wait because we expect that because it is broasted. We were told when our order would be ready and we arrived a little early. Our order should be ready around 6 pm and we arrived at 5:50 pm. We phoned at 5:50 pm stating we wanted to inform them we we were ready in space 3 but were early. She stated she was bagging it up as we speak. Eleven minutes went by and no order. My husband walked in. Our order was setting there. The lady said I am not sure what happened your order is ready it has been setting there. My husband said we have been setting in spot 3 for 11 minutes waiting since we phoned and was told then she was bagging our order. She had no response and he walked out. We tipped $5 on the $30 to go order, come on now! I asked my husband to count the chicken it was all there then we drove home. The chicken was dry. In the past their broasted chicken has ALWAYS been good. This tasted old not fresh but yet it was hot however, not seasoned. The fries were as if they were at the bottom of the bag. Several small pieces versus the larger fries. I have never been served them when I have ate in their restaurant before. I thought that was odd. The coleslaw appeared to be days old. I was not impressed due to the taste of the food and lack of getting me my order on time. I will be choosing someplace else to spend by hard earned money. Too many disappointments here.

The gravy was very floury and did not have sausage in it as far as I could taste. The eggs were scrambled a little too hard and did not taste like they were salt or peppered.
