This is a very authentic Lebanese restaurant. They have offerings that are hard to find at other places like stuffed zucchini. Their savory baked goodies are so good, it makes one dream about them. Flying to OH just to go there is justifiable. I'd go there again just to eat there... You walk up to the front, examine all the good pictures hanging up, and proceed to order everything on the menu which we almost did. The owners are nice and accommodating. If you are close by, go there now...

I hate that I hadn't been to Cedarland for a while. Glad we decided to fix that tonight. I had the chicken schwarma and we also got a vegetarian sampler..both rated 5/5. This food is fresh and flavorful. The folks who work there are friendly and helpful. Yum!

Great good at a great price. Some of the best food of this type around. Even outdoor seating.

I am just trying this for the first time, and I think it is new favorite. It taste so good, with the yummy chicken, Lebanese style pickles, the garlic sauce and french fries... It's delicious. I will be dreaming about this sandwich!

Truly great food. Nothing mass market. I Will come here every time I'm back in Dayton. People who really know how to cook. Enjoy and tell him Jack sent you. No I don't know these wondful people not profit from this review!

Baklava - walnut; and they have several other options that are good too; but walnut is the best!!

After a Great Clips haircut, on the recommendation of the stylist, I tried it out, was very impressed. Been there many times since, never been disappointed. I've since moved to Liberty Twp. but the Phoenician still beckons. Had dinner last night there with my wife. It was a wonderful experience. I felt it was high time I wrote them up. We started with an excellent double-hop IPA and a great Lebanese red wine, I think it was called Kefraya. Gonna seek it out locally, maybe at Jungle Jim's. As always, the pita bread is fresh, oven-hot and delectable. The shankleen appetizer is outstanding, a lovely fusion of greens, lentils, feta cheese, olive oil and spices. Wife ordered schwirma - slow-grilled combo of sliced chicken alongside sliced beef and lamb. The waiter obligingly substituted a side of couscous for rice, no extra charge. I had a braised shank of lamb in a rich tomato sauce. Both entrees were delicious. As always, the portions were very generous, so we took food home along with complimentary fresh pita bread. Besides the great food, the service is superb. The owner makes a point of stopping at each table to ensure that the diners are happy. We look forward to our next visit.

Finally she made reservations for Saturday evening (it is recommended because they get super busy). We got there and was greeted by the owner. BTW, was very down to earth. So their menu looked good (Lebanese food). There is so much to choose from and hard to decide. I especially loved their drink menu, especially wines. We ended up ordering: Appetizers: Baba ghannouge M'hammara Taverna falafel Dinner: Shawarma chicken Kebab mixed grill Drinks: Chateau kefraya, Les Bretches Almaza Pilsner My favorite from the appetizers is the eggplant and falafel! Super fresh and the bread that came with it was so good. Even the dipping sauce was amazing. My Shawarma chicken was super delish. You have to put the garlic butter on the rice! It gives it great flavor. My Mr enjoyed his meal as well. We definitely had to get a to go box because there was so much food. But we will look forward the next day to eat it. Overall, the service was great and I loved the experience. We can see ourselves coming back for more! I can see why my best friend loves it here! Highly recommend you try it.

Our family sat down and enjoyed the vegetable combination to start and it was just enough to take the edge off before digging j to our main dishes. I substituted pesto hummus for the standard hummus, in addition to the baba ghanoush, taboulli, falafel, and grape leaves along with some pita bread; a great sampler to enjoy the flavors. For my entree I enjoyed a lamb wrap and some lentil soup, while the rest of my family had a few other selections. Everyone left feeling satisfied but not stuffed - the perfect balance. The service was ok. Which would be the only thing from getting a five star rating. Our server was polite, but not engaging. This was my second time at the restaurant and I would definitely go back, in addition to recommending it. 8/10

The hummus was lovely with great flavors and the fresh pita was soft and warm. Gravlax was fine, very refreshing cold dish, not our favorite but good. Hamachi Collar was delightful - surprisingly a lot of meat on the big collar, with crunchy potato crumbles and an amazing sauce - highly recommend! Black Maitake was such an interesting unexpected dish - the charred mushroom had a very smoky flavor with delicious pickles and a creamy sour-cream like sauce to break up the slight kick. Mafaldine pasta was such a lovely creamy celebration of duck, truffles, and al dente pasta - highly recommend. Lamb Shoulder was very tender with nice flavors but feels a bit pricey given what it is - think Cava mediterranean bowl. The group also ordered some drinks. The non-alcoholic Peter Rabbit cocktail was the resounding favorite! I enjoyed a nice glass of Cab with my meal. We ended with the Maritozzo for dessert, which is a traditional Roman dessert involving a brioche bun filled with whipped cream. The cream and dressing tasted great, but the bread seemed like just an ordinary wheat dinner roll - felt a little mismatched. Overall great dinner with good service and relaxing ambience! Our total for the four of us was around $400 after tips. Pricey meal for sure, so suggest giving it a try for special occasions. There's also free parking in the back of the building!

The baked beans were something totally else. I feel the entire business model in that space is very confusing. The tabbouleh is more heavy on the greens than the grain which was a refreshing change to me. It was dressed in a bright, fresh lemony dressing. More than I could eat in one sitting. The French fries are maybe dipped in batter and fried. I'm not sure. But they are super crispy on the outside and fluffy inside - delicious.
