Called five different businesses in the area to get a quote to fix my front brakes since they were making a scraping sound at random times. Spoke with Dimitri at D&G and he quoted half the price of most every other competitor in the area. He started off by saying I might just need to replace the pads (rather the rotors and calipers like other places require). He said he could get my car in right away and have it done in a few hours. Moreover, he was patient with our questions and willing to learn himself. Ultimately, we had a custom camshaft and lifters made and installed in what seems like no time at all, and the results are extraordinary. Others may say they have a great mechanic, but I assure you that David tops them. Not only is he a studied expert in mechanics, but he is kind, humble and a great communicator. As others have said, he went above and beyond our immediate issue to set us up with the various PNW specialists for each aspect of our classic vehicle in need of future repair. More recently, I ran into problems restoring a beloved classic pickup truck that's been in my family since I was a kid. David and Jim determined that somebody had previously sold me the wrong clutch, and Jim even went so far as to pick up the correct parts from the local dealer on his way to work the next morning. The day after that, I had the truck back on the road, and drove it to Leavenworth and back during the 2019 "snowpocalypse" with no problems at all. Although I'm the type of person who mostly works on their own cars, Pittman has become my go-to for any job I can't (or don't have time) to do myself.
