These are consistent findings within the self-service food area even within the deli carving station. Sometimes they have turkey briskets. I believe I've even purchased prime rib there and the quality and flavor is always on point consistently the presentation of all of their items never fails either also, every time I go to Bristol Farms you're always greeted with a smile. The comment felt unnecessary, presumptive, and embarrassing--like he had decided I needed to be warned about the cost of something I had already chosen to purchase. As a customer of color, it also made me wonder whether he would have made that same comment to shoppers who do not share my skin color. That is not the kind of interaction any customer should have while grocery shopping, especially at a store like Bristol Farms. Other shoppers should be aware of this experience, and I hope Bristol Farms takes it seriously. Please do better and train employees not to make assumptions about customers.
