    Peppermint chocolate bliss balls
    Lorraine M.

Absolutely love these raw, vegan, healthy treats that are good for you but you'd never know with how good they taste! I usually try to find their bliss balls at local shops in San Diego, I caved and ordered their specialty goods for the holidays. Delivery was super speedy in time for the holidays.

I've said it before and I'll say it again-- she is SO GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES. Just when I think I've tried her best, she'll come out with a special that just blows your mind! At the farmers market this week, they sold a special ice cream sandwich that they described as spumoni. It was absolutely mind blowing! I love their monthly pumpkin spice cinnamon roll. I also tried the Katy cake finally and holy smokes... Wow... Absolutely phenomenal.

Rpt. Buyer Review + Cinnamon Bun, swirl so satisfying, taste/texture on point + Pairs well with coffee + Found at Irvine Farmer's Market or Neat Coffee (available at other locations- see their Insta page for locations/restocks) + Fairly standard service experience, $4 per bun (worth the price) + They have other varieties to try Overall, no complaints! Definitely would recommend!

Best bakery ever!! Best cakes EVER! So yummy and gorgeous! All organic and vegan with simple ingredients. Honestly, I've never tasted such a delicious cake. We order the chocolate peanut butter flavor and it is incredibly decadent. It almost tastes like a cheesecake or thick mousse and is totally mouth-watering. Worth ever penny! We just ordered one for a birthday and didn't end up paying for the decoration but it came with stunning decorations. The cinnamon buns and balls are also amazing. The cinnamon buns are my favorite when warm. Will always come back!

I've ordered from Meet the Source 5 times now and have tried a few of their products (cake, bliss balls, and cinnamon rolls) and always enjoy their raw, vegan, healthy desserts! However, I don't always feel that the advertised flavor tastes like what it's supposed to be, like the glaze donut hole bliss ball or strawberries and cream cake for example.

Love love this little gem!! The best treats for all your vegan/raw needs. Love the cinnamon buns, bliss balls, and cake slices. Great customer service too.

YES! Thank you so much for the beautiful and delicious cake. Complete whole ingredients, vegan, dairy free, and so yummy. On the pricier end, but expected given they are made from Whole Foods. No bake cakes that are so beautiful. Must order online 72 hours in advance. Wish they had delivery, but I will be back!

Got the raw cookie dough cake from Whole Foods and it was AMAZING!! love that it is non dairy, no refined sugar and no soy. Super tasty, only negative was that it was $13 for a tiny piece of cake but I guess it makes up for having natural ingredients. Will be purchasing more in the future!

Bliss ball pack - mint, strawberry, and cookie dough

I saw my friend post a picture of a cake from this place and it looked so pretty I immediately checked three out. Meet the Source is a vegan and gluten-free bakery with unbaked goods. First thing, if you are going to get something from this place you have to order online at least 72 hours in advance - this isn't a walk-up bakery that you just order something from behind a case. Everything is made to order so keep that in mind. The first thing I ordered from them was their specialty bliss ball pack with mint, strawberry, and cookie dough flavors. Each ball is packed with flavor but the strawberry with coconut flakes definitely takes the cake (no pun intended). They are small but heavy so you can make the box of 12 last a while or put them out for a party - someone will enjoy one of them. But, I wanted to get a cake. And thankfully, my friend had a birthday...so, I used that reason and offered to buy the cake for the party. Warning - they are a little expensive (but they are made to order, with natural organic ingredients, for people with all types of food sensitivities), but they are absolutely stunning. I added the floral decoration for $20 more and if you take a look at the pictures you'll see why it was expensive. Worth it. And the cake was a huge hit! Everyone asked where I got it, people had no idea there was somewhere like this. But let me just tell you, if you're expecting the cake to taste like every other cake you've had, you'll be disappointed. This cake is unbaked and remember it's ingredients are as close to healthy as you can get, while also being organic, gluten free, AND vegan. The cake was amazing, and heavy, so the small cut into 12 pieces. The lemon was subtle and the raspberry popped through more. Super happy with the money I spent and cake I got and will definitely be coming back.

Their claim to fame, the strawberry croissants, taste as spectacular, light, crispy, airy, and deliciously subtle and fruity as much as the original location. The main problem is they definitely seem to have way less stock on hand, and things can sell out fast. I had to come back another day for my favorite item of theirs, the rusk - extremely light and crunchy bites of buttery sugared mini toast. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful. I love that they carry bulk platters of their strawberry croissant and have them displayed right as you enter. They also have various other desserts and pastries, even some savory sandwiches and sushi, packaged goods, and coffee. I'm here pretty much just for their strawberry croissants and rusk, though their other items seem nice if you want goods for a convenient picnic.

I'm positive Mothers Day is a very busy day for you all, but no one should be on the receiving end of that type of sass from anyone, especially after paying close to $100 for a 6" inch cake. It definitely killed the excitement for the gender reveal with this cake tainted with attitude.

They had a number which I called and the person on the other end gave a number which I could text more details about what I needed, for how many, my name, etc. Since they were driving and couldn't take my order at the moment I made sure to provide as much info and the time/day. I put the order 5 days before I said it needed it and they agreed it can be done by then. I thought it was easy and I just followed it up with the change of topping on the cake. I explicitly stated to text me if they needed anything else from me since I have never done this before. I probably should've followed them up, but I was busy that week. Since I didn't hear anything afterwards I thought I had secured my order. The day I come to pick up the cake, they tell me they don't have the order. The lady who I spoke to, who I'm assuming was on the phone when I initially called, is telling me I put a request not an order and that I didn't even provide my full name (not true, I did). I'm being told that I shouldve put down a deposit and have a contract with them for the cake. I wasn't provided with any contract or a Zelle username. If I had that information I would've absolutely done it. As a business you should provide the customer with that sort of information. I had no idea and I wasn't told that thru text. Should I have followed up? Absolutely, i know that now. There's no information on the website about a contract or deposit information. Only the phone number that I first called. So they should probably update that if they have so many orders and can't keep track with request. There was a lot of deflection from the lady when i tried to explain my grievance. No apology either for the confusion. I felt crazy because I thought I might've missed their messages. Nope nothing. Only the Zelle information after I had arrive there. Luckily, they had puff pastry ready and told me they could have the cake ready in 15 min, and I really needed the cake so I agree to still do business. When I got the cake it was still warm and they told me to freeze it in my refrigerator for it to set. 15 min to get to my place and the ganache has melted off the top and custard had already spilled out from the sides. I had a long drive afterwards and not even an insulated bag could save it. It did taste good, it's too bad about communication, and everything else.
