Nov 5th 2024 I once was a customer there and had a black wheels. The price was very reasonable and paid off with a very low interest rate because I paid earlier! Then I was so excited to go there for other wheels onto my Nissan Sentra Nismo and they offered $1,150 wheels with "in-house" financing that was supposed to be lower interest or fees. They wrote down everything was completely different from what they told me and it alerted me with something isn't right! It ended up trying to get me pay over $2,200! Very disappointed and so sad that I'd support their business but I lost my respect for it! I left the store without buying wheels! So sad!!!! read more

This business is a joke.. I paid off tires back in 2021 and now they have all different types of attorneys calling me threatening me with theft!! I paid my balance in full and all of a sudden the local business can't find any account history for me except a paid in full account that they stated was never sent to legal!! I have used RAW WHEEL and Tires twice. First time, I shopped around they were the best deal. 2nd time I was stranded on freeway with a blowout and near heartattack. By the time I got to the store, they had the tires I needed, and were waiting on me to put them on. They worked me in and had me safely back on the road in record time. Both times their customer service came thru with flying colors of success! Their employees are amazing, friendly efficient, and knowledgeable. The payment plan was manageable with the timeframe for same as cash very easy to accommodate making it the best deal, as well as, affordable. Personally I wouldn't recommend this tire store to anyone. Who ever is in charge of payments needs to do a better job because there was times where I was charged twice a week and all they said was sorry but as soon as I didn't make one payment they were calling me and my contact list non stop. I've put rims and tires on 3 of my trucks but for sure this is my last. Make sure if you guys get rims and tires you guys pay them cash because if not they triple the price after 30 days. Despite the fact that they're already expensive as it is... I was promised by the manager Bonnie an extra week to pay off my tires and she didn't keep her promise so I had to pay almost 3 Xs the original price of the tires. They know I'm a returning and loyal customer but when I came across a financial problem and couldn't make my normal payment they clearly didn't care... I had already payed more then the original price for them and they kept taking money out my debit card although I explained I couldn't make payments due to my work status... I thought they would help me out since I've been getting rims and tires from them for years but all they care about is ripping you off and making money off of you. Never would I ever go to any place like this yes they matched rimes that should of been perfect for my car but once I drove off they forgot to add all the if hub caps so I had to Go back after that they didn't not balance them properly so I went back to get them re balance from them and it was still not right so Went else where to pay out of pocket to get it right but they still were defective so I took them back and that's when they told me I needed to add a hub ring for it to ride smooth when they should of told me from the start or they should of added it them self read more

Bonnie and rent a wheel are the absolute best.i lost a rim cap on my truck and the dealership i bought my truck at said they didn't have any caps and they couldn't do anything. They sent me to Pacific tire on chester. Said they had them i went the lady in office said they ddnt sell them and that they couldnt get contact with rim company that they've have had problems. I was okay with their business until I was told that I could use another service. They hooked me up with Acima Credit because I was having issues with making my payments at the time. The manager did not fully explain to me what I was getting into. It's like I am paying for the rims and wheels twice. With the amount of money I paid them already, it was like I was starting over all again once Acima took over. I'm commenting based on other comments. "Some people state they were scammed by Rent-A-Wheel, but I doubt it seriously. Most times, people are quick to sign a contract without reading, or listening careful to the Terms of Service (TOS), in the case the Terms of Rental Agreement (TOR). I've been utilizing Rent-A-Wheel since 2006. The day I had to have tires. My funds were low, to pay full price for Wheels and Tires at other Wheel Tire places. Rent-A-Wheel made it easy for me to get into Wheels and Tires with little money down. No Stress. They explained to me how the contract works. Basically (if you do not pay the terms in the "90 Day same as cash" purchase, your price will increase significantly. If you (the individual) do not pay it off on time. How can anyone blame Rent-A-Wheel for not reading their payment agreement? "READ THE TERMS OF AGREEMENT", BEFORE YOU SIGN. Like I have always seen in the terms, the numbers are exactly as Rent-A-Wheel explains it would work. Most times, I've paid off my Wheels and Tires in the required time of 90 Days same as cash. As well when I didn't I was still given an option to help me save on my Purchase. During the purchase of my Tires at the Rent-A-Wheel in Bakersfield on Brundage LN, was a great experience. I was served by Bonnie the Manager the day I was there, and we talked about my situation, although we made a deal on used Tires, I was promised that the New Tires would be in that Saturday, next day. I couldn't be there then. Her quick thinking to keep me on the road without my Warped tires that I purchased from a tire place in Lancaster continuing to plague me, allowed me to rent the used tires until the New Tires come in. When driving home, I loved the ride, it was so smooooth, I love it. Those were the used Tires that gave me an excellent ride. I could not wait to get the new tires. We agreed I'd come in the following Monday, The NEW TIRES were there on Monday as she promised, although Bonnie was not present as she thought she would, the tires were swapped out with a new deal on the New Tires per as Bonnie and I agreed on 3 days prior. Troy helped me on Monday and carried out the Managers (Bonnie) promises to me, just as she promised. I had an issue with my payments, and Augustine, was very instrumental in allowing me to be able to get my payments back on track as best he could allow, without being reprimanded by his superiors. With that said, Augustine did what he could to give me the time to do my part to honoring the overall Agreed Rental Payments. The Wheel and Tire installer I cannot fell to mention, did an excellent job, on the Wheel Balance and Tire inflation. At other tire places, they would overfill my tires. Not Jose, he put the tire pressure where I like it adding more comfort to my ride on my New Tire purchase. That was the smoothest ride in my car, in a very long, long, long time. My purchase of the "20" N5000 PLUS Tires" really are exaltedly what I was told they would be by Bonnie. She stated that I would be happy with the tires, based on past customers. They make you pay for warranty on your tires that you can basically never use, $300 for a wasted warranty. The guy that I talked to said as soon I I told him what I was there for that I was going to have to jump through hoops to get the company to pay the $200 which was only half of what the tire supposedly cost. They wanted $361 plus $35 for balance and mounting for a tire that anywhere else cost $175 which is what I had to do. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt but that got me nowhere. 90 days same as cash is a joke they add in all these little fees that add up to a big amount! Stay away if you can!!! read more
