I hate to do this…read more Been coming here since I was a kid. Recently, I came in to get two used tires. Can't afford new ones so this was a good short term solution. When I got home, I noticed one of the used tire had a huge plug. Went back and they replaced it. The next morning, the second used tire was already flat. Had to go back again and they had to patch it up. I get it, they are used, but why sell bad used tires? After 20 years, I am seriously disappointed. I don't think I could trust this place anymore.

Definitely do your research and go to a different mechanic because there are way better and more honest places out there.

After the work had already finished, the owner told me it was a cash-only shop. He couldn't even put my spare tire back in the trunk, he left it in the floor for me to put away. I also asked if they could install and program four TPMS sensors that I had already purchased. I did my research beforehand and bought the correct OEM Denso sensors. He told me they would only install TPMS sensors if they were purchased through their shop. He said he could physically install mine but refused to program them, even though he had the equipment to do so. When I told him they were OEM Denso sensors, he incorrectly claimed they were AutoZone sensors. Instead, he tried to sell me his own sensors for $400. It felt like he was refusing to program my sensors simply to force me into buying his. Based on that experience, I won't be coming back. This was some of the worst customer service I've received. Me dijo que solo instalan sensores TPMS si se compran directamente con ellos. Comentó que podía instalar físicamente los míos, pero que no los programaría, a pesar de que tenía el equipo necesario para hacerlo. Cuando le expliqué que eran sensores OEM de Denso, insistió incorrectamente en que eran de AutoZone. En lugar de ayudarme, trató de venderme sus propios sensores por $400. Me dio la impresión de que se negó a programar los míos simplemente para obligarme a comprar los de él. Después de esta experiencia, no volveré. Ha sido uno de los peores servicios al cliente que he recibido. ¡Busquen otro lugar!

Now it has a bad ding on the barrel and I don't know if that's even repairable! The repair work on the lip is not straight and looks bad. Their process seemed a little too good to be true. After getting various quotes from a range of others, the price was all over the place from too cheap to extraordinarily expensive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

Jonathan showed up promptly and got work immediately on my rim. His work and skills are impeccable. It only took him roughly about 20-25 minutes to leave my wheel looking "Good as new" for less than the cost of a new wheel. I definitely recommend Dr Wheel for your curb/parking mishaps. Not only do people attempt to take advantage of me because I'm a woman but also because I drive a Mercedes. I needed brakes and there was no way I was going to the dealership to have the replaced . So, I searched on Yelp and of course I came across a plethora of businesses but Bolles was the only one that had all five stars, I gave them a call and spoke with the owner's son (sorry i forgot his name) he was very polite, and knowledgeable. The next day o took my car to them to be serviced. I dropped it off and they called me a couple of hours later with an estimate. Yes the estimate was pricey but again he was using Merced's parts and we all know that those aren't cheap. But what I appreciated most was their honesty . He told me that the rotors on the back were shit and definitely had to be replaced but the front were fine and if the price was too much I could actually wait awhile (not forever, but a payday or two) before replacing the brakes . I thought this was the most honest expertise I had ever had with an unknown mechanic. If you want the job done right, with friendly, professional people I would recommend this business to you and anybody who needed a wheel alignment and or brakes . Hopefully I won't have to go back anytime soon but I'll definitely be recommending the to everyone I know .

Worst service for a store it has so many good reviews I have yet to see anything good about the store just to get my tires rotated it took about 3-4 DAYS of having to go back and forth from east la to south gate in horrible traffic and every single time Eddie giving me some lame excuse as to why they can help me that day. and then go to order another set of rims that they don't have in stock any tells me that he will call and place the order on monday and give me the run around for about 5 days I finally decided to take my business to the rent a wheel in pico and I explain my situation. They check the inventory on their special orders for south gate and turns out they haven't ordered any rims the end of March. Eddie is a douchebag. P.o.s. always has this I don't give a shit attitude. And then well I'm trying to purchase rims at the Pico rent a wheel while trying to still use the same tires but requiring Eddie to release the paper work refuses. I had to speak to his supervisor and she also gave me a really really hard time and had to go above her head and speak to her supervisor just so they can release the paperwork... The manager of the South Gate rent a wheel also try to buy my service by offering me 2 free weeks with out payments. With shitting customer service I get from there I told her flat out no. My initial start off with rent a wheel was a bad one. I first applied online to see if I can get approved and they did for $4000 , then immediately called the location that they requested Inglewood. So for the next three days I was going back and forth with a gentleman named Daniel and the rental wheel staff in Inglewood they constantly told me they would call me back in 10 minutes a day later I would have to call them they were very bad very poor service if it wasn't for my need for rims and tires at that time I would have just gave up but what I did was call another location Southgate I spoke to a lady named Jackie she was very attentive very kind over the phone with our initial conversation she convinced me to come in at that point I spoke to a gentleman named Eddie he knew his stuff about rims and tires he knew what he had in stock you have me get the best friends for the best price overall I am very happy with the price and my weekly payments thank you very much Southgate rent a wheel . One last thing there's a gentleman that puts on the tires does a real good job his name is nacho. I showed up and hour before closing and I was attended by Javier. He was very professional, he gave me advice, showed me what rims were really popular for my car. I had a little bit of time left before closing but not once did I feel rushed. I was able to take my time and pick out the rims I wanted. Unfortunately when I did pick some rims out they didn't fit. What really impressed me was that I was given some magazines to look at, a business card with his number and he said "Look through these and see if you like any rims and if you want go online look for something you like and feel free to send me a text with a picture of the rims you want and we'll work something out." Like how often do you get outstanding customer service like that? I did go the next day and I did end up getting some rims I really like. I would highly recommend coming to this place. TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! It has finally come to that time of the year, the seasons are switching and the rain is coming, so I needed some new tires. Every other tire shop was about to harsh my mellow, giving me ridiculously high quotes of 1800$, 1500$, & 1100$ for my Green Monster. Since I couldn't cough up that kind of dough at the flick of a light, it got me kinda felchy. After doing some research I found Rent-A-Wheel, which is so dope AF, because they let you RENT your TIRES without having to PAY IN FULL!!! Which is awesome for an aggro full-time student and employee like myself. So I gave Rent-A-Wheel in South Gate a call, where I got hooked up with Salvador who got me an awesome deal on some tough rubbers for my whip. I'm now going home in a much smoother ride. I have been a customer for close to a year and let me tell you I have had my ups and downs but this place has an awesome customer service I highly recommend you coming here ask for Daniel he's the one who has been really nice and has helped me with everything and explaining how everything works. When I got my hours cut they really helped me a lot and not to mention things happen and life sometimes throws rows you things where sometimes you can't manage but Daniel has always been there and he's very understanding of every situation especially being a mother of two I need to get around and I thank him for a lot of help and his generosity. I can honestly say that the customer service was awesome. Once you step in it's a friendly and outgoing environment. Had no problems with rim or tire options. They specified the payment options. And they kept their word when they said NO credit check. Didn't take long at all. I took longer on deciding what rims I wanted on my charger, than what they took installing everything. I absolutely recommend everyone looking for rims and tires or just tires to stop by. I'm absolutely going back if I ever decide to change my rims. I want to thank the manager and team at RAW ,Southgate. First of all,the entire tram is welcoming. From Daniel, the manager, to Jorg the team member and salesman. Daniel had been there 7yr and knows his stuff. He'll handle every question and give you great insight on what you may want ans the pros and cons of the options. Jorg was great in beginning the administrative process,ans following up with thr initial information. And the tire tech,who's name escapes me at the moment, was on point. The guys at this store, Henry, Chris and Nacho were AMAAAAAZING!!!!! I had a HORRIBLE experience with the Crenshaw location ripping me off, they sold me NEW tires and installed used. I came to this location and Henry and Chris both were so honest, professional and kept it 100 the entire time. They even pointed out all the lies the other location told me. This is an outstanding shop to repair your car easily. The owner is helpful and he often helps their customers most of the time. As a house I give suggestion to my husband to repair our car from this center because of their extra-ordinary successful services. The staff at Rent a Wheel has been very helpful. Whenever I have an issue they are always very helpful in solving my problems with my rims and tires. I've been a customer of for many years and I'm always satisfied with the service. Jesse, Richard and Eddie always take of me. I used to be a customer of the Inglewood store, but I didn't like the customer service that I received. My Lexus needed an alignment after a manual swap because the steering wheel was off-center, and he got it driving perfectly again. You can tell these guys know performance cars and take pride in their work. The shop is incredibly clean, modern, and professional. They have a comfortable waiting area with complimentary water and snacks, which shows they care about their customers from the moment you walk in. What impressed me the most was the customer service. Israel and his son Vincent treated me like family instead of just another customer. They were honest, welcoming, and made sure I was completely happy before I left. Upon placing the order, I received an email instructing me to contact my credit card company to authorize the purchase. I have already done this. So through the website's message portal, as I was unable to respond to the email sent by the Victoria. However, I encountered significant difficulties when attempting to contact this company. Out of 124 calls, all but one were disconnected immediately, and the only one that connected after I inquired about an order was abruptly disconnected. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, I have yet to receive a response. I have even reordered the wheels, but the same response has been received. As a former Service Director for seven multi-line new car dealerships a District Manager for 37 Goodyear facilities and COO of 1137 Dental practices , I am well-versed in customer service and communication. I am confident that the company's lack of customer service and communication issues are significant problems. A company that prioritizes customer service and product sales is essential for its survival. Given the numerous negative reviews I have read online, it is evident that this is a recurring issue. The lack of customer service and revenue is detrimental to the company's success. I am concerned that the employees may be intentionally ignoring customer care and retaliating against the company owner. While I am not certain of the truthfulness of this claim, I was determined to resolve the issue and complete my purchase. It is frustrating that customers must resort to such extreme measures to obtain merchandise from a company. I'm going to try and research the owner or owners of this particular branch and find a way to get ahold of them to see if they are interested in the issues that they are facing with the clear lack of customer support and service. Also the revenue from all the loss sells and costly credit cards being disputed by customers who have never received any merchandise or communication from the staff. After so many kick backs from customers complaining about their credit cards being charged and not receiving any merchandise, the banks will start pulling out and hitting them with penalties and fines up to fraudulent charges without delivering any merchandise. It's bluntly called theft period.

I have a 2010 Ford Focus, and I spent the entire day calling around getting quotes for tires that were $600+, and that still didn't include installation. At The Tire Plug, I got four brand new tires installed for $260 total, which honestly shocked me. For an additional $65, I was also able to get an alignment. Customer service was top-tier. I had called earlier in the day planning to come in, but on my way there one of my tires completely gave out. It took me about three to four hours longer than expected to finally make it there, but thankfully their hours worked out perfectly since they're open late and close at 9 PM. When I arrived, there was only one person ahead of me, and my total wait time for everything, including installation and alignment, was about an hour, which was honestly really fast. As a woman dealing with car issues unexpectedly, I really appreciated how straightforward and professional they were. No pressure, no upselling, just good service and great pricing. Fast, professional, honest service. If you're looking for affordable tires without sacrificing quality, I honestly can't recommend this place enough.

After the work had already finished, the owner told me it was a cash-only shop. He couldn't even put my spare tire back in the trunk, he left it in the floor for me to put away. I also asked if they could install and program four TPMS sensors that I had already purchased. I did my research beforehand and bought the correct OEM Denso sensors. He told me they would only install TPMS sensors if they were purchased through their shop. He said he could physically install mine but refused to program them, even though he had the equipment to do so. When I told him they were OEM Denso sensors, he incorrectly claimed they were AutoZone sensors. Instead, he tried to sell me his own sensors for $400. It felt like he was refusing to program my sensors simply to force me into buying his. Based on that experience, I won't be coming back. This was some of the worst customer service I've received. Considering that it was a patched tire and the wrong size, the least you could have done was offer some kind of discount, but you still refused. Instead, you insisted on charging me a service fee even after I told you to stop. On top of that, the price had already changed from what I was first told, and the way you spoke to me was rude and intimidating. It felt like you knew my situation and that other tire shops were closed, and you took advantage of that. My review reflects my honest experience, and I stand by it. I'm not trying to argue online -- I'm simply sharing my experience so other customers know what happened.
