When I saw Raw.....I got so excited! I try and eat raw most of the time about 4 to 5 days per week. and collard wraps is one of my favorites. When I arrived, I saw another Vegan eatery. I walked in, and looked at the menu, seeing how this is my last day here, I wanted to try them both. I decided to get the raw and eat it later. So here I am! It's just a small little place, nothing fancy, just come and order your food, you can eat in or take it to go. Susan was so sweet, we talked about this Collard wrap, I told her I make them too, but sometimes I just chop it all up, and put it in a bowl instead of trying to wrap it. Told her all the items I usually put in mine, and she said I was creative. I will update this once I eat the wrap! Update: I finally ate the wrap! Remember I said I make collard wraps! My collards are usually tuff. This collard was tender and fresh. (Even though I ate it almost 24 hrs later). With that being said you can get it the day before you go to work and it's still good! You already know I will be back on my next Fresno trip!

I've come here a couple of times and this last time ordered the two entree special, groats and oats and a cinnamon roll. I really enjoy this place every time I go, but my partner is not a big fan. While I think this place is very healthy and true to its name with raw food, my partner who eats less vegan food thinks the flavors are a bit too strong/healthy tasting (if that's possible) and the portions smaller than what he's used to. For example, the "pizza" is in essence healthy toppings on some healthy cracker beds. I don't think this place is for everyone, but I appreciate the various ways in which this place tries to makes vegan food more accessible to people and stay creative in its offerings. I've been here a couple of times and have had people tell me about their meal plans and how much they appreciate them. Overall, this is a small vegan walk-up place to enjoy some solid vegan food and the owner is very kind and helpful as well.

Food is always fresh, nutritious and delish! The owner Naomi is awesome as well, and is very passionate about providing healthy food for the community. Go support this lovely establishment!

Every time I am on my eating good phase I come and visit them for fresh healthy and nourishing food. This is a great place to refresh your body mind and spirit. They have plenty of different menu items. From CBD coffee to a piece of cheese cake. Everything no regular processed sugar no junk only good natural ingredients. This is one of my favorite places to come. My body thanks me when I eat good. So this this I ordered something new. I got a verguer. It's a plant base burger with some spread and green as a wrap, it also had some avocado and some crunchy . It was very good. I got two slices of cheese one was grape and the other one was chocolate. They are very attentive and helpful. They always work on your order as soon as they can. And everything has been fresh. The ambience is casual and they get busy. They open from early morning 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Highly recommended.

And if you haven't been here YET, you better get a move on. . . Her lease is up, she's planning on retiring & her last day will be 5/31/26. BOO-HOO!!! Owner Naomi Hendrix was the FIRST to bring the BEST quality 'Whole Foods' plant based meals to the area! She is a 'GIFT' to the Central Valley for THESE LAST 19 YEARS! I met her for the first time when she had her food truck in front of the Kaiser Farmer's Market. There, I first tried her Kale Caesar Salad. . . that DRESSING! I could eat MOUNTAINS of kale with that dressing! It was like 'crack', I HAD to HAVE the recipe! Fortunately (for me) she freely shared her recipe at Whole Foods Market where she taught cooking classes. She even shared it on a local news station for HEAVEN'S SAKE! What Chef shares her recipes?! She just wants people informed, and is EVER teaching and generously sharing her knowledge. She will even share her experience staying at the True North Fasting Center! Currently, she has a cooking class every Thursday night. She also offers a Lunch Subscription, with delivery to YOUR DOOR/included in the price! HOLY COW! It's a total of 14 meals that equals to about $12 each/INCLUDING delivery! NO. WAY! Well, WAAAAY! ;D You just can't beat THAT with a stick! ORGANIC?!! Amazing! She even sells her various salad dressings also! I took my engineer-husband here, who NEVER showed a prior interest in nutrition. . . He picked up Dr. Michael Greger's book, 'How Not to Die' that was displayed on the counter. He could NOT put it down. . . WHUUT? So, of course we BOUGHT a copy so he could finish it. It was his turning point! Thank you, Chef Naomi! As a matter of fact, Chef Naomi was instrumental in actually HAVING Dr. Michael Greger come to Fresno City College to lecture. TWICE! Just GUESS who really, REALLY wanted to attend besides MOI? Yep. Previously apathetic hubby. Truly, Chef Naomi is an 'institution'. Her CONSISTENT zeal to teach and generously share her knowledge kept me wondering where the passion came from. . . I recently bought her digital book that she has available (which includes the famous Caesar Salad Dressing recipe) It is a good, almost 'slideshow' type of presentation on educating yourself about basic nutrition. It has info about juicing, fermenting, reading labels, types of oil, etc.. Then I read the dedication; "In memory of my son Ian Zachary Smith. In 2006 my 21 year old son died of complications with Celiacs Disease.This woke me up to understanding how food affects all of our bodies. . . " I was stunned. Now I knew where the drive came from, to help others as she does with such care. I have never heard her mention it. My FAVORITE meal of all time, ANYWHERE, ANY PLACE is the 'Hail to The Kale'! The warm white beans on top, go perfectly with it. It truly is my COMFORT food! It checks all the boxes of satisfaction for me. I also enjoy the brownie and coconut bites. The lemon bar is fantastic also, it has a nice 'zing' to it. Experience it while you can! :)

My husband and I are so happy we found this gem in Fresno! We have recently changed our diets quite a bit and really do miss eating out. Luckily Raw Fresno is there for you when you feel like eating out but also want to continue to be healthy. Most, if not all of their products are organic and everything is raw. If you're new to this, like I was, that essentially means that the fruits and vegetables are not cooked. Once you see what's on the menu and how delicious the food is you're going to be amazed that it's not actually cooked. We have tried everything from the wraps, the salads, the pizza, the coffee, and even the desserts! Everything is so healthy yet filling. My absolute favorite items are the desserts because I just can't believe that they don't have any added sugars. Everything in them is created from fruits, vegetables, or nuts. We've tried several of the cheesecakes, but my absolute favorite is the tiramisu. It's a small little place, but still has quite a few tables inside. Every time I've gone there there are always people making friends with each other and chatting it up. You can tell the owner makes it a point to create a safe and welcoming environment for everybody. The owner is always there with a smile on and greeting all the customers as well as interacting. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My wife and I have been to Raw Fresno a few times now and each time we say how simple, delicious, and filling the food is. Absolutely love the market wraps and kale cesar salad. The dressing to the salad is *chef's kiss*...I truly can put that dressing on ANYTHING, that's how much I enjoy it. I have never been disappointed with the food here and it's nice to have "feel good food" that doesn't make me feel guilty or terrible after. Very kind service and quiet ambience in the restaurant as well.

Showed up to this raw vegan spot while on the road and it is amazing! I was greeted by Naomi and she was very polite and welcoming. They have (74) options and 5/74 are cooked and the rest is raw vegan. Highly recommend this place!

Naomi is a knowledgeable chef on all things raw and plant based. I enjoy their advice and encouragement to eat healthier. They also have a Pac-Man arcade lol. I highly recommend.

This place never fails Preparation might take a little while so order ahead of time. But it's the wait for quality food. It's a heavy meal without the guilt. Food doesn't take a toll on you after you eat. We've been wanting to visit more local places with Covid going on and this was a hidden gem we wished we discovered sooner. Is the food good? Are the people nice? To both of those, I say Very! I've been looking to eat more raw meals, and this place was just a Match Made in Heaven for me. Stopped by on my travels and was blown away by the food and the hospitality! So many great options, I ended up getting the Veggie Pizza, Coconut Bites and Brownies! This is THE MOST amazing place. I highly recommend everything on the menu, I love the tacos, the verger, the soups and the amazing desserts. We make excuses to drive the hour and a half to Fresno to eat there. Chef Naomi is usually there preparing the food and always helpful with recipes and info on tips for a healthy lifestyle. The last time I was there she explained how to make my own yoghurt we came home and made it and it was delicious. I am never disappointed! read more

Today I was in the area and wanted to give it a try since I love vegan food so much. I tried placing my order online but when I picked the two entree lunch option which includes a beverage and a dessert, I was not able to pick the second entree and there was no option as of which beverage or dessert you wanted so I bought the juice and one entree separately. However, when I got there I explained the issue and they were very courteous and fixed the issue and also apologize for some their online issues. I had the veggie wrap and avocado toast as my entrees, green smoothie, and coconut ball. Everything was super tasty and good portions, I took half of the wrap home. I will definitely be coming back and telling friends and family about this place. According to the staff everything you order is low carb which is great for those who are watching their carbs. read more

Today I purchased a combo collard green veggie wrap includes brownie bite, cracker and a drink (Green smoothy) $12 Or purchase the wrap by itself for $8 You know your eating healthy if your buying something from here. I've tried the micro greens. Kale salad,steel cut oatmeal is very good. Naomi also sells green smoothies, kiefer water, cheese cake made non dairy and made with cashews. This is excellent. Stopped here on the way back from Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The woman working was really friendly and knowledgeable and the menu was unique. Loved the opportunity to have some legit healthy food after a weekend camping, everything we had tasted amazing too. Ended up buying some additional crackers and hummus to take with us. This place is AWESOME! We were on our way from Yosemite to LA and looking for healthy branch. We are so glad we found this germ and got a chance to meet the owner - Naomi who is passioned about healthy food. We got avocado toast - it's a must! I have been a customer for years and now I am super disappointed with the way Naomi responded after reaching out to her about an issue with my birthday cake. My mother had a slice of the cake and as she took a bite there was a small ROCK in her slice. Luckily her teeth are fine but it is absolutely not okay to receive a birthday cake like this. Naomi asked for a picture and we could work something out. Then she said she spoke with the employee who made the cake and she confirmed that in no way possible could there be a rock. She then offered a 10% discount and said there is no one in Fresno that makes anything close to what they do. I will be taking my business elsewhere and letting friends & family know about this experience. read more

Amaziiiiiiiiiiing! Stayed in Fresno while visiting Yosemite valley and so so glad I came across this restaurant. Being vegan for the last two years it's really tough to find places to eat that isn't junk food. This spot is straight plant holistic and I love it. I got the mushroom, and green bean, and the wrap.. all out of this world good! I'll continue coming here while in the city. The owner is amazing. She makes everything herself. From the salads, dressings, drinks, to even desserts. The place is so vibrant and cute. The food is delightful and creative. It satisfies the body. Loved it!!! We had the kale salad, vegan pizza, hummus, and the brownie dessert. The pizza's flatbread was amazing, it was made out of pumpkin seeds and flaxseeds and then dyhrated. I really liked the Peru beans in the salad. We had the spicy lemonade drink. The spicy lemonade was a bit tough, but my body thanked me for drinking it. Best combination of fresh vegetables, effort, and unique combination choices to surprise your mouth! What a great find! This gem for healthy AND tasty eating is nestled in The Galleria close to the convention center. We know a lot of vegan places in Berlin, where we grew up, or in coastal Southern California, where you have to be too cool to be true to fit in. RawFresno is a welcoming and fresh version of a plant based haven. Naomi, the owner, greeted us with a big smile, and prepared a yummy looking avocado toast while we were busy studying the menu. We got a combo each, with green drink, farmer's wrap, a verger, hummus, a brownie bite, a coconut bite, and the potato salad. While waiting for the freshly prepared treats, we took a chance to burn some calories on the rowing machine in the seating area. Makes for a complete tummy spa, how fun is that? The sweet bites: yummy! Often, we find too much sweetness from dates or molasses in those treats. RawFresno's version was elegant and very pleasing. This place was SO good!!! I was concerned they weren't open because the food truck was closed up, but they were inside the building across the way. Disclaimer** I am not a vegan- which further validates how amazing this place is!! The creativity and flavor are great!! I was looking for a place that was vegan, doesn't use sugar, OR bread. 3.5/5 for a vegan who usually eats cooked food. 2/5 for the stuffed mushrooms (taste wayyy too vinegary, I think they say its the amino flavoring?), crackers and hummus is slightly better but still pretty acidic tasting. I think some other review said the hummus has lemons? But mmmmmm 5/5 for desserts! Love the brownie bite and the mango cheesecake! I probably will stick to raw desserts. read more

We stopped in Fresno for dinner while on a road trip and chose to visit RawFresno for their vegan options. We were first impressed by the staff. They were so sweet, immediately brought our dog water, and were patient with us while we ordered. Even the other customers were friendly and it made for a great atmosphere. Then came the food. I don't usually have high expectations for anything "raw". But this food We both had the "no pigs in a blanket" and it was just divine - the creamy cashew cheese with the tangy kraut and tender kale was a perfect combo I would 110% recommend this place for any kind of eater and I know we'll be coming back when in Fresno again! read more

Established in 2008.

Years ago In 2008 I was diagnosed with DysBiosis. My Doctor informed me that to get rid of the Candida that was infested throughout my intestines, "you must become wheat free, gluten free, sugar free, vinegar free, soy free." It took many months of research to gain the knowledge of this New Healthful LifeStyle of Plant-Based Meals. So as I went back to school to learn I knew I had to share this New Found phenomenon, because odviously I was not the only person that needed this! So We began teaching @WHoleFoods Salud Cafe. I enjoy seeing the joy of relief when someone ask for help & they realize I have gone through this too & I really want to help them heal themselves. During a road trip, I stopped by this place hoping for a quick and healthy meal. Despite it not being busy and only two small groups ahead of me (1 person and a family of 4) it took 45 minutes to prepare my combo meal, which cost $20 and disappointingly included only two half portions of entrées instead of the two full entrées listed on the menu. This was misleading as I was getting food for myself and my husband, who was waiting in the car, and had expected the combo meal to suffice. Only one of the three staff members was actively making food, and the staff seemed unorganized, repeatedly checking an iPad for order details without printed tickets. They also lacked a clear menu of ingredients for each dish, causing further delays as they attempted to contact their boss for information via security camera signals. Additionally, several items I ordered were unavailable. The food was fine, but not worth the price or the wait. Given these experiences, I am puzzled by the high ratings this place receives. This was my second visit, and both times service was exceptionally slow, with this visit being notably worse. read more

I fall into the category of people who have the common misconception that raw vegan food is just carrots and lettuce thrown into an underwhelming salad with hummus to boot, having been here I can say that I couldn't have been further from the truth, this place has changed my perspective on what it is to eat raw vegan cuisine and I am so thankful to have been able to taste such NEW flavors that I have never had before.
