Stay away at all costs. Last summer i took my bike in to be serviced. The owner took four months to get to my bike and then left me a bill of over $1,000.00. All of which is part of owning a motorcycle however what is not a great sign of a good shop is the fact the bike went for one short ride before it broke down again. And so it sat all winter and this spring a friend of mine whom also is a mechanic and motorcycle enthusiast had my bike for three days and charged me less than a 100 dollars and my motorcycle has never been better. It starts right up every single time and has not had an issue what so ever. I feel that the owner as a mechanic do what we fear mechanics will do and took advantage of my lack of knowledge , took his sweet time and over charged me way too much. Brandon was my mechanic for a couple of years in LA at the best Honda shop around. I bought my first motorcycle, a 1978 Honda XL175 not really knowing what I was getting myself into. The bike was the devil, and had one problem after another. Brandon was the most patient person I have ever met. He often stayed late at the shop to help and was genuinely interested in digging into the problem. He didn't just want to fix it and send me on my way; he wanted to leave me with a bike I would enjoy riding and not have to worry about. He was also a great teacher and would let me stay and watch and learn, while he talked through the problems and the mechanics of the bike. He was truly the only person that could wrangle that bike. Well, LA's loss is Boise's gain. I have a beautiful old Honda CB350 that I absolutely love but don't particularly want to work on, and Brandon has kept her running smoothly for two years with minimal visits. The places I'd been to before always claimed to have the bike running well, but then, before long, something else would foul up. I contacted Brandon while he was still working in California about saving a 1965 CB77 Super Hawk. I had researched a couple other shops to take on the project. I knew very little about vintage Japanese motorcycles. I got the bike for next to nothing, he informed me that the super hawk was worth salvaging. He told me, up front what he thought it would cost while explaining that once he got into the bike the price could change. We sent the bike to CA. The shop Brandon worked in was well reviewed and as such very busy. I wasn't too worried about turn around time as we had other two wheeled vehicles to enjoy. Brandon got on the inspection and told me what was going to need work and I got it in writing as well. We got timely updates and pictures, some good, sometimes the pics were disappointing. He did his utmost best to save us money when he could without compromising the quality of his work. We got the bike back late Dec. of 2015 Brandon brought it to our home. We're looking forward to putting some miles on it this spring the bike starts immediately and idles great, were currently working on cosmetics.
