It had white chocolate chips in there and wasn't bad. As far as the cupcakes, I tried the strawberry cupcake, the Oreo, cupcake, and another pastry. Unfortunately, for me, they were a miss. The cake is self is good and has nice flavor but the icing on all of my cupcakes tastes like medicine or fake sugar. I don't know how to describe it. I just know that I was not a fan and I went back the second time to try something new in hopes of liking it more and it just didn't hit the mark for me. So for this, I have to give three out of five stars. I would go back if I was in the area and wanted a brownie, but I wouldn't make a trip specifically to visit this business.

They made the cake exactly how I we discussed it looking. I was a little surprised when I spoke to them that they didn't seem interested in taking any artistic liberties with it. I kept telling them that I didn't want it to look exactly like the inspiration photo and I wanted them to have a little bit of fun with it or make it look a little bit unique and they asked me if I wanted to put something into ChatGPT to give them an idea of what I was thinking, but I get that they were probably just trying to deliver exactly what I had envisioned and I appreciate that. I was very happy with how my cake looked at the end of the day. My issue comes in with the flavor. I got samples of a few of their cake flavors to try, and I think their cake flavors were pretty good, but some of them were not quite as strong as others. I ended up going with their champagne and berries flavor with a strawberry jam between the layers when we tried the sample of this flavor it was absolutely delicious and really unique, and the champagne was strong, but not overpowering in the actual cake itself. I found that it just tasted like a strawberry pop tart. The champagne flavor was much less present and that was really disappointing for me. My other issue was with pick up. My friend arrived to pick up the cake and it wasn't ready until half an hour after the time when he was supposed to pick it up. He got there a little bit early, so this left him waiting there for quite a while. I'm glad that all the work they were doing was fresh so that the cake wouldn't be getting stale, but it was a slight annoyance since the pick up was on the day of the party and he was out for longer than we had anticipated. I think that if your priority is visuals, the sugar divas have got you absolutely covered, but I would caution that their sample differed from the final product, so if flavor is your top priority, this might not be the spot for you. I don't know that I would use them again, considering how much I paid for the cake and how the flavor turned out.

I was in Florida for a surprise birthday for my boyfriend. I did a Google search trying to find cupcakes I could just buy for his birthday. I found Ray Cakes with beautiful pictures so I called. There was no answer but I instantly got a text back about missing my call. I ended up talking to Rachel and explained I was looking for cupcakes. she accommodated my request for 1/2 dozen cupcakes but she went the extra mile and made them fresh and allowed me to have multiple flavors. She delivered them to me on time!!! I was totally impressed by the professionalism and amazing customer service. We immediately tasted one of the cupcakes and OH MY GOODNESS!!! These delicious cupcakes were absolutely amazing, from the soft cake to the delicious smooth icing. The flavor was authentically unique and awesome. We chose Ray Cakes for our wedding cake. Rachel was a delight to work with. She is very organized, responsive and reliable. For the cake tasting she came up with 12 different flavor samples. We had a hard time selecting one flavor and we are not even cake people! She made very good suggestions and recommendations. We ended up with lemon flavor for our wedding cake. Our initial delivery was scheduled at noon (she offers delivery service and I highly recommend it especially if its for a special occasion). A day before our wedding I asked Rachel if the cake can be delivered earlier because we were planning to start the ceremony at noon. Since it was a last minute request she had other cake deliveries lined up, so she could not promise. The day of our wedding she delivered the cake at 11 am an hour before the ceremony, per my request! Rachel made a phenomenal cake that was made with quality ingredients and fresh flowers. We ordered a small cake and asked if Rachel knew a good place to get balloons. Well, Rachel took care of everything! We were able to order a cake, balloons and delivery all in one package! Kylie responded IMMEDIATELY, quite literally within 10 minutes of my initial email. She called, and set up a tasting appointment with me. The day of the appointment (yesterday) she called ahead to let me know that the air in the building was acting funky but, she was looking forward to seeing me. The amazing personality that I spoke with over the phone was the same personality that I received in person...I LOVE an infectious spirit and she has just that! The cakes displayed are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and whats even better is that the taste was amazing as well. She/they had my sample box ready and while I was there I decided to purchase additional cupcakes as well. The cakes itself are very moist and flavorful, but not too sweet. My top favorite were the cookie dough and the amaretto raspberry. The raspberry filling has the perfect balance of sweetness, but a slight tart (like a hint of acidity). My boys loved the mudslide as it is a chocolate lovers DREAM and the French toast. My plan was to try 3 different businesses however the Divas have given me exactly what I was looking for. First, I just want to throw out there that these divas are first class decorators. My cake looked EXACTLY like the inspiration I sent them, so let's get that straight. They made the cake exactly how I we discussed it looking. I was a little surprised when I spoke to them that they didn't seem interested in taking any artistic liberties with it. I kept telling them that I didn't want it to look exactly like the inspiration photo and I wanted them to have a little bit of fun with it or make it look a little bit unique and they asked me if I wanted to put something into ChatGPT to give them an idea of what I was thinking, but I get that they were probably just trying to deliver exactly what I had envisioned and I appreciate that. I was very happy with how my cake looked at the end of the day. My issue comes in with the flavor. I got samples of a few of their cake flavors to try, and I think their cake flavors were pretty good, but some of them were not quite as strong as others. I ended up going with their champagne and berries flavor with a strawberry jam between the layers when we tried the sample of this flavor it was absolutely delicious and really unique, and the champagne was strong, but not overpowering in the actual cake itself. I found that it just tasted like a strawberry pop tart. The champagne flavor was much less present and that was really disappointing for me. My other issue was with pick up. My friend arrived to pick up the cake and it wasn't ready until half an hour after the time when he was supposed to pick it up. He got there a little bit early, so this left him waiting there for quite a while. I'm glad that all the work they were doing was fresh so that the cake wouldn't be getting stale, but it was a slight annoyance since the pick up was on the day of the party and he was out for longer than we had anticipated. I think that if your priority is visuals, the sugar divas have got you absolutely covered, but I would caution that their sample differed from the final product, so if flavor is your top priority, this might not be the spot for you. I don't know that I would use them again, considering how much I paid for the cake and how the flavor turned out.

He specifically wanted a Cheshire Cat cake with lemon cake and blueberry filling that was both purple and pink inside. She had never done a Cheshire Cat cake before nor blueberry filling but felt she could deliver. Having seen her work on Instagram I felt confident in this as well. I sent a few idea photos over for the Cheshire Cat but honestly wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say we were amazed! The cake came out BEAUTIFUL and tasted wonderful. She really did an excellent job nailing the look and exactly what he wanted both inside and out. The price was reasonable in my opinion for a custom cake and really something unique and special. Plus we got a little cupcake on the side with a candle that was delicious as well! Highly recommend!

I usually have restaurants asking me for the contact information once they see the cake. Oh - and the cake inside is just as amazing as the decoration on the outside!

I've visited the business twice. And the two best things for me were the Reese's peanut butter cup, brownie, and the red velvet cookie. The brownie was number one very moist, but I also tasted the Reese's peanut butter flavor and it wasn't too chocolatey if that makes sense. The red velvet cookie was pretty good. It had white chocolate chips in there and wasn't bad. As far as the cupcakes, I tried the strawberry cupcake, the Oreo, cupcake, and another pastry. Unfortunately, for me, they were a miss. The cake is self is good and has nice flavor but the icing on all of my cupcakes tastes like medicine or fake sugar. I don't know how to describe it. I just know that I was not a fan and I went back the second time to try something new in hopes of liking it more and it just didn't hit the mark for me. So for this, I have to give three out of five stars. I would go back if I was in the area and wanted a brownie, but I wouldn't make a trip specifically to visit this business.
