    Piano bar

Honestly classy... love the atmosphere! Please don't be shy and dress up as fancy as you want! But also it's ok if dressing up it's not your thing. This place has a piano bar, the dinner/show room and gift shop. At first, when you pull up, you feel you are in a big building, it really doesn't scream fancy or has much sex appeal from the outside other than it's clean and has some plants honestly, but when you walk in, you can feel elegance. The ticket station is to the right as soon as you walk in and the gift shop is to your left, keep going straight to the back and you'll find memorabilia and the piano bar. You'll encounter the big doors to the show/dinning room on your way to the piano bar as well. They open Thursday to Saturday, the piano bar opens at 5pm, dinner is at 6:30pm and show starts at 7:30pm and you definitely have to come and check the piano bar, wow! What a great warm up to an amazing show. The service and customer care was impeccable at the bar area and the drinks were made delicious. They have a full menu at the bar so you can eat and drink before the show there too I believe. They don't have many draft beers selection but they do have a few, they do have bottles/cans as well as a full cocktail bar. The bathrooms and the cleanliness overall of the whole establishment was impressive. Definitely coming back to get the whole experience on a night out!

We went to see Ray as part of our anniversary trip. We were greeted at the door and given information about the piano bar, gift shop etc. We looked around the gift shop, then went in and listened to music in the bar. At 5:30 we were promptly seated and drink orders taken The sweet tea is very good. Our server, Danielle, is so friendly and a lot of fun. She helped to make our experience a good one. The meal consited of salad, chicken, green beans and a dinner roll. The green beans lacked seasoning and the chicken, to me, was a little dry. The potatoes & roll were good. The entertainment began on time. Ray is quite feeble, but did a good job performing some of his great songs. The band played way too loudly and the show really did not need the 3 "Hussies" as Ray calls them. They added nothing to the show & when Ray sat at the piano blocked our view of Ray. We sat near the stage, but slightly off to the left. It is very difficult to hear because there are no speakers facing that direction. Overall, it was a good time.

Had a good dinner (too much to eat!) and a wonderful show! Have always loved Ray and he sure didn't disappoint!

Very nice setting to watch a show. Very good views from every seat in the house. Nice friendly staff. Ray Stevens hasn't missed a beat and was wonderful. So glad we went, we didn't have dinner just saw the show.

The food was disappointing, especially for being at the Kimpton. One of the 3 entree options we had pre-ordered wasn't available, which was okay. I think people should be notified in advance that the Kimpton's location is a rooftop-- again, it worked out well for my group, but we might have dressed differently for the high winds.

It's definitely a throwback to a different time in American history as you enjoy cruising down the Cumberland River on a restored paddle boat as you head to downtown Nashville and back while enjoying a buffet dinner and musical show. You're encouraged to arrive early to the boat when purchasing your ticket and for those that arrive early there is a live band performing on the very top deck....once it's time for the dinner and show you'll move below deck into the theater/main dining room. Everyone has a designated table. We were seated towards the back and I'm so glad we were because with how loud the audio was I couldn't imagine sitting at one of the closer tables to the stage. For your meal, you being with a Ceasar Salad course prior to each table lining up to go to one of the buffet stations set up on either side of the dining room. The buffet consisted of a variety of items including their take on brisket (no bbq sauce is available on the whole boat btw), Tuscan chicken, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and more. As you near the downtown area, the buffet area will be shut down so you can enjoy the downtown skyline views at night while the servers place your dessert at your table. Our night we had a toffee cheesecake (that tasted old and like the cardboard box it had been sitting in for who knows how long). As for the show it takes you on a journey through the years of popular music that came out of Music City - Nashville. It was a good way to pass your dinner. All in all - none of the pieces of this experience by themselves was a standout but combined it made for an enjoyable (and different) way to pass an evening in Nashville.

From the moment I sank into those ultra-comfortable, spacious reclining chairs, I knew this was going to be something special. The seats are ridiculously plush--plenty of room to stretch out, perfect recline, and enough space that even my tall frame didn't feel cramped. It felt more like lounging in my living room than sitting in a theater, but with a massive screen and incredible sound. As for the movie itself, "A Great Awakening" is an absolute masterpiece. It's powerful, thought-provoking, and emotionally gripping from start to finish. The storytelling is masterful, the performances are outstanding, and the cinematography is breathtaking. I was completely immersed the entire time. It left me inspired, moved, and genuinely uplifted--exactly what a great film should do. The theater in Franklin gets everything right: clean facilities, friendly staff, and those heavenly recliners that make the whole experience feel luxurious. I can't recommend this combination enough. Maybe because I went to a matinee on a weekday, I wasn't searched. But I also brought a very small, clear bag that showed I was only carrying the bare essentials. The ticket prices (I saw two movies) are the lowest I've seen, around 12 bucks. I realize they are more expensive for evening shows, but this is still beyond reasonable. The theaters are large and the recliners are comfy. They have stadium seating and some theaters have partitions. They have swivel tables for food. In the beginning of the show, if you order at the concession stand, they'll bring your food to you. I had a couple of their drinks (yes, you can have cocktails while you watch). They are sugary and nothing spectacular, but that's okay. It's a theater staffed by high school and college aged students, not cocktail connoisseurs. I was hungry between movies, so I had some of their cheese fries. Again, okay. The fries themselves were hot and well seasoned, but I could have done without all the nacho cheese and ranch dressing (I realize that's the appeal for some people). For a large plate of cheese fries and a double shot drink, I paid about 38 bucks. Honestly, that isn't crazy to me given what I ordered. They also have popcorn, pretzels (which is what I wanted, but they were unable to make them that day), hotdogs, pizza, burgers. They also have places to sit in the lobby as well as a small table you can park at to eat. Everyone on staff was super nice and helpful. Some of them were very conversational about the films playing. The auditoriums were clean, as were the bathrooms. I am pleased with my experience here and think this was just the first of many matinees in my future.
