It was amazing to hear the original song writers to some of the worlds best songs. (Country for today). It's a $15 per person minimum when you sit at a table. The food is fun food a lots good and reasonable. The music was amazing. Great fun with friends and family.

This by far was our favorite thing we did in Nashville. Food was great and listening to the stories behind the songs and hearing them perform them was so much fun. Highly recommend.

I stopped in with fellow conference attendees and had a great time in the listening room. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it was a nice way to wind down after a full day. The pretzels with beer cheese dip were especially tasty--warm, soft, and perfect with a drink. Overall, a really enjoyable spot for good music, conversation, and a quick bite.

The stage that holds great artists and their stories.

The drinks were great. The food was good. But, the entertainment was a MUST see. This was our favorite experience of our visit. Not only do you get to listen to great music, you get to hear the stories behind the songs. This filled my country-loving heart

It was cool to listen to songwriters perform their original songs that may be sung professionally by other artists. They also had many singer songwriters. All very talented musicians. I discovered a few songs I still listen to from The Listening Room, The food was good too. Loved the banana pudding. If you're on a budget, the honkey tonks have music that is also similarly good and free, but this is a good way to support musicians.

we got tickets early and it was a good decision because it was almost full house. I thoroughly loved our lineup (kylie frey, emma zinck, marla cannon-goodman), they were all very empowering and inspiring women with amazing voices and songwriting. the ambiance was more intimate and I appreciated the music a lot. food was also decent, they were more elevated than your average bar food for sure. I tried the: - off broadway ($12): a very sweet and fruity mocktail, balanced with citrus-y and acidic flavors - sweet potato tots ($12): huge portion, perfectly crispy outside and soft inside - shoulda been a cowboy burger, double ($19), with bacon brussel sprouts: the bacon jam was everything! - piggy mac ride ($21) with brisket: very generous brisket and bacon, and the pasta was al dented

Such a cool experience! Very intimate setting where we were able to listen and learn about some of the biggest hits in country music. The performers were funny, knew how to captivate the crowd and were just there to have a good time like the rest of us. The tater tots were phenomenal but other than that the food didn't hit the mark. I'd suggest if you attend an event here, skip the food and stick with just drinks. Can't wait to make this a staple for when company comes to visit!

Well, first let's start this off with why you visit the listening room--for the music and the experience of hearing all about what it's like for these writers! All of that made this place soooo worth it! We saw 3 artists--Adam Craig, Mark Irwin, and Luke Stevens--all had their own unique style and were so awesome to kick back and listen to. We ordered food and had some cider, and while it was pretty good, it was not the best thing I've ever eaten, but our server was great..quick and friendly!! We got to listen to about an hour and a half of music--all written by these talented musicians, and fun fact--Adam Craig grew up just down the road from us in Washington State! He was our favorite, btw!

Fear not if you don't get a seat at the Bluebird Cafe! You get a similar experience here with the lovely added bonus of valet parking. The business has moved numerous times but no matter. They keep recreating the magic. The stories behind the songs while you sip! The food menu will not win any awards, but if you are hungry, you will find some good options. We are locals and we enjoy it here!

Awesome musicians!

Food is okay but you really go for the music! Saying that, the dry rub chicken wings were delicious and the turkey sandwich was good. Wine selection okay, and overall they had an extensive menu. Service was awesome! It's amazing how they get you in and out, fed and watered, all with the musicians playing!

Great music from amazing songwriters

One of my must do's everytime I'm in town. I like that the main stage has a lot of seating and honestly there's no bad seat in the house. I love hearing the stories behind the music and all the songwriters are so passionate about their work. The staff hustle throughout the show to make sure you're comfortable and take orders efficiently. I never have to wait too long for my drink. They have a large food menu and there's something for everyone. There is a $15 food/drink minimum per person on top of the ticket price during the evening shows, but that's easily covered with 2 drinks or an app. If you're in town, definitely check out one of the shows here.

Worth getting tickets for the live show! You're invited to a back room with a improv type stage. Ample seating but a little tight knit. Food was average. I got the bbq platter. The show really shined! Good service. Working hard to also stay quiet and not interfere with the show.

Had such an awesome time here on Thursday night. We got to see Marcus Hummon and his son Levi Hummon, Sarah Burton and Ian Fichuck. All had super cool stories and backgrounds. The food was not the best. Personally I would skip on the food next time and stick with the drinks. They require a $15 minimum purchase for each guest. Below is what we ordered: - Chili cheese fries; super dry and needed sour cream but they didn't have it. Fries were soggy and could tell it was microwaved - Off broadway mocktail; so amazing. fruity drink that would be good with alcohol too! Definitely order this one!! - Smash burger double. I thought it was good but my mom did not. It's good with all of the stuff on it. -Buffalo chicken dip; you could tell it was reheated in the microwave. Chicken was dry and it wasn't good. Our waiter was super nice and was checking on us appropriately with the timing. She was pregnant so props to her working in this heat. The overall decoration of the place is so pretty. I love the vibes inside of it. They have the back area you pay for and then the front for lesser known artists where you can listen to for free. It is cold in the back so bring a sweatshirt just in case.

If get in before music start free concert fee?

What's the parking situation look like?

Valet parking, best place to hear live music in Nashville by far!

Do we need reservations, there are 6 of us?

Best to buy online beforehand.

Has anyone had customer service issues? I can get a reply to email or return phone call

I haven't, but did you try to call during the hours they had shows? I'd recommend trying to catch them about 30 minutes before a show, when you know someone will be there.

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". And they really nailed the physical design, so inviting and upscale. I'll stop there and simply say: check this place out, it's great!

She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended.
