Other companies were a bit cheaper with coupons, but Elite had a $99 special and I wanted to go with them, since they installed the unit. The first time the technician (Steve) came out, he wasn't able to do anything due to my building's roof drain being clogged and the roof was basically flooded. He sent me a video so I was able to send it to our maintenance people and have them come fix that issue. After the roof was no longer a swimming pool, Steve came back out a week later and presumably did everything that was needed -- all seems to be working well, and he answered a couple of my questions and gave me an estimate for an ambient kit in case I want to run the unit when it's below 60 degrees outside (my condo gets really hot and retains heat). Overall, great customer service, super nice people. I'll continue to use them for my AC needs.

George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. I called Gardner and told them that they needed to reverse the charges for the diagnostic because they lied. Another HVAC company came and removed the pipe for 1/10 of the cost that it taken me to follow through on their diagnostic. They did reverse me the charge of the diagnostic of $220. Liars.
