On the other hand, I was greeted with a dead battery when I picked up my car having to purchase a new battery. Instead of cutting me some slack on the price of the battery seeing that I just paid over 2 grand to get my transmission replaced, they made me pay full price for the battery and having to sit and wait there for nearly an hour for it to get delivered and for them to get it replaced. Also ever since I got my car back I have been having electrical issues with it. Even though bringing up the issue to them, they said that they didn't touch anything electrical while it was there. As well as that, I was also greeted with my lights under the dash to be broken and on my floor.

My wife and I went to Tony Rotella's shop today for a NYS Inspection. Checked in at one of their…read moreservice desks without any waiting. Very nice guy took care of us quickly and showed us the comfortable waiting area and he explained where the bathrooms were should we need them. Not long thereafter he came over to the waiting area to let us know that we were all set. We checked out with the same nice person (I should have gotten his name) paid for the inspection, and we were on our way. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the clean, comfortable waiting area, the large show room, and we observed that all staff were friendly and they obviously like working at Tony Rotella's. One of the most important things in any business setting is a great culture and they obviously have one and it shows. One other thing I wanted to share that I witnessed while waiting. I overheard one of the staff members on the telephone with what must have been an insurance company. This staff member was in a deep "professional" debate with the insurance company trying to convince them to pay for more for a body shop repair, so the customer didn't have to come out of pocket as much. It was nice to see one of Tony Rotella's staff members fighting for their customer's best interest. He was also very nice in how he was presenting his case, yet firm as well and would not back down. If I'm ever in that scenario, I want a guy like that fighting for my best interest as well. If we ever need body work done (and I hope, we don't) there is no other place I'd bring our car than Tony Rotella's after what I witnessed this morning. We'll also come back in the summer for new brakes and new tires as we've heard from several friends that they are great with that type of service and the pricing is very good as well.

Tony and the other mechanics at Masello's are nothing short of amazing. They are one of the few…read moregarages that I trust to work on my vehicles. I believe their pricing is fair, and probably more than fair, given the expertise they have. To give you a sense of their integrity, I'll share one story. I had left my car there to have maintenance done, and when they finished it was parked in the side lot as is the norm. In the few hours between the completion of the work and my arrival to pick it up, someone had swung open their rear door into my car's front fender so hard that it left two sizable dents that couldn't be repaired without going to a body shop. I didn't notice the body damage until I got home, and I quickly called Tony to let him know what I found. He was aware of how well I tend to my vehicles, was horrified, apologized profusely and without any hesitation offered to pay to fix the damage done in his parking lot. Now any time my car comes in for service, he makes sure to tell me that he will keep it parked in the garage until I pick it up. Tell me, where else are you going to find another garage with integrity like that? I won't bother to look since Masello's is the one of the few shops I go to for maintenance and repairs.

He is very wrong. Please do your homework check around. There are many many places much cheaper. I would never ever recommend taking your vehicle to this place.!!!
