    5. BBQ Pork Fried Rice

10 of 10! This place truly delivers authentic Chinese flavors. The fried chicken was golden, crispy, and seasoned just right, while the noodles were rich, satisfying, and cooked to perfection. You can taste the quality and care in every dish. Family owned home cooked meals. Highly recommend.

So I finally got around to trying Raymond's Chinese food. Clean and easy parking. I tried several items on the menu. The fried squid appetizer. The sant and pepper pork . And the black bean fish. The squid was chewy and greasy. Same for the salt and pepper pork, somewhat lacking in flavor but very tender. The black bean fish lacked that black bean taste. But was the best of all the three items. They have weekly specials listed on the wall of the restaurant. Bathroom was clean.

Came here a few times to eat dinner with my family, everything we ordered was so good and super flavorful! Service was fast and really friendly staff. Plenty of parking in the lot and on the street. My family has also ordered a few party trays for different events. Some of our favorite dishes are the chicken corn soup, salt&pepper fish, Szechuan beef, general's chicken, spicy string beans, honey walnut shrimp, and pan fried noodles. Also their crab cheese puffs. Yum!! We love it!

    11. House Special Chow Fun 18. Orange Chicken Breast 12. Deep Fried Flounder It was all very tasty the flounder was fresh and buttery

Went for lunch and was not disappointed. Ordered the lunch special, selecting General's Chicken w/ fried rice. The portions were generous and everything tasty and fresh. The soup came first, hot and sour. Great texture and level of spice. Good vinegar portioning too. The sauce was delectable. Even got 2 bonus pieces of broccoli on the side which were fresh and al dente (not mushy at all). Included was the "hot appetizer" which was a yummy fried wonton stuffed with cream cheese and a little crab. I love the ambiance inside too - lots of light and I got lucky to have a sunny day. The staff are always friendly and usually parking out front is not an issue. Have also tried their takeout before and was not disappointed (though the moo shu pancakes were dry so will note to check that for future togo orders). Highly recommended!

As a last-minute find we found this cool Chinese restaurant. I really like the architecture of the building. The inside is very nice as well. The food was pretty good we had the sizzling beef platter, fried tofu, and white rice. This beef platter had really good flavor with a good amount of pepper. And the fried tofu is really nice too. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area!

I got the eggplant basil, asparagus shrimp and seafood chicken chow fun.

Kenny's Cafe is not fancy and by no means a fine dining establishment, but if you're into a clean restaurant with staff that takes care of their customers. Then perhaps this is a great place to try. I've worked in a restaurant for nearly half my life and I can honestly tell that it takes quite the effort to uphold a level of cleanliness and consistency especially given the fact that they've been there for over 30 years. I had their salt and pepper pork, well portioned, crispy batter, decently priced with all the right fixings and flavors.. I was not disappointed. I've also tried their prime rib which is a special every other Friday of the week and for $30, you get two sides and a soup. I was impressed with what they served and everything was cooked to standard. (Which is hard to find nowadays) Too clean and well kept to be a hole in the wall but with mountains on one side and the ocean in a tucked cove on the other, Pacifica is definitely worth the trip.

Kenny's Cafe served up a delicious 12-oz cut of prime rib + veggies and fries for under $30. I asked for medium rare, and I got medium rare. A bowl of soup included. We sat down in this homey restaurant that felt like we'd been transported back in time to 1997 or so which I liked for a change. Nestled in an unassuming strip mall by some martial arts studio and a few other restaurants and stores. We ordered way too much food and the plates were huge. Highlights were the fried shredded pork with jalapenos, hot and sour soup, and orange chicken though everything was great. Best hot and sour soup I've ever had, great spice level and depth of flavor. The fried shredded pork was seasoned perfectly and went great with everything. We also had bbq pork chow mein and I was pleasantly surprised by the bbq pork being obviously house made fresh and not dried out bright red 40 like most places. Service and value were both great with a huge amount of leftovers and very accomadating but not suffocating service. We had about 7 dishes and it was about a hundred. Besides the items I mentioned in earlier reviews, want to shout out the excellent Hot & Sour Soup, full of so many different delicious ingredients, it has become one of my favorite H&S soups of all time. I also love their Black Bean Sauce, with any protein you choose (although I love it with chicken breast) -- it is truly delicious. String Bean Chicken is another favorite. The chefs are two brothers, and the terrific Ricardo, at the front, is one of the chef's sons. They are a wonderful family. If you've bypassed this place but never stopped in, or if you're from the North Pacifica or Montara, Moss Beach or El Granada, it is definitely worth the trip -- it'll become one of your favorite (if not THE favorite) Chinese restaurant on the coast.

We've been ordering from Daniel and his incredible team for years, and they have never disappointed us. No matter what we order, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Our family favorites are the Mongolian Beef, any of their fried rice (especially the vegetable fried rice), Mu Shu Chicken or Pork, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and just about anything from their Salt and Pepper menu. Their vegetable dishes are also outstanding--fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. We usually order takeout or delivery since parking can sometimes be a little limited, but that's never stopped us from coming back. Every order arrives hot, well-packaged, and just as delicious as if we were enjoying it in the restaurant. What truly sets Soul Rice apart is Daniel and his team. They're always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. You can tell they take pride in both their food and the relationships they've built within the Pacifica community. That kind of hospitality is becoming harder to find, and it's one of the many reasons our family continues to support them. If you're looking for outstanding Chinese and food in Pacifica, I wholeheartedly recommend Soul Rice. Great food, wonderful people, and a local business that deserves every bit of support. The larger tables also have lazy susans which makes sharing dishes easy and fun, especially when you come with family. The service was fantastic. They made helpful suggestions and also made sure we did not over order, which I appreciated. You can tell they want you to enjoy the meal, not just spend more money. The food overall was really good. I normally do not like hot and sour soup but they nailed it here. It was perfectly balanced and loaded with ingredients like tofu and mushrooms, super delicious and comforting. The fried rice was great and the Mongolian beef was done just right. A lot of places overload that dish with onions and green onions but this one was balanced perfectly. The sweet and sour pork was just ok for me, not bad but not my favorite dish of the meal. Even with that, I was still very happy with everything we ordered. It's AYCE and located near the beach by a little shopping area in Pacifica. Beautiful area. The hosts greeted us with their great smile and sat us down right away. We chose the BBQ pot (half bbq to grill your meats and soup like shabu). I had the coconut pork bone soup and my hubby had the mushroom soup. Both were very tasty and the spice was spot on. They had a variety of meat choices and yes prime beef ribeye! You can either grill it or drop it on your soup. You can also create your condiments to dip your grilled meats. The rib eye, beef belly, pork belly were my favorites. You can tell the meats were of high quality and were fresh. You only need to grill the rib eye medium rare and wow it's amazingly delicious!!! Also they have a wide variety of appetizer, vegetable, seafood, tofu, I can go on! The Kalbi ribs as one of the appetizer was one of the best Kalbi I ever had. The marinate was sooo yummy and the meat was tender! The service was also amazing! They checked on us constantly and our orders came so quickly, it was unbelievable. Yes we were stuffed and happy! The green tea ice cream at the end cleansed our palette and it was a great dessert to end the meal. Afterwards we walked a few steps and the view of the beach was mesmerizing! All of us ordered half hot pot/skillet, so we can enjoy both types of cooking. I liked that one person was in charge of ordering for their group to minimize confusion and multiple orders. The food came out quickly for us to cook. I really enjoyed the New Zealand Lamb and all the vegetables. I wasn't a big fan of the sauces that we were able to customize at the sauce station since they were just normal Asian sauces. Overall a great place to come for AYCE. The price was also reasonable - $41.99 per person for 90 minutes. There is free parking available since it's located in a plaza. Our family had a great time which is all that matters.

San Tung was one of the only busy spots on Irving Street during a weekday lunch hour, which felt like a promising sign. We were seated pretty quickly at a large round table across from two other diners, which was totally fine. And after looking around at everyone's tables, it was clear that these two dishes were the most popular items. Since this was my first time trying the dry fried chicken wings, I was surprised that they came out coated in a thick, sticky sauce--so not necessarily "dry" in the way I expected. Flavor-wise, they leaned more sweet than savory. I think this dish would be a big hit for people who enjoy sweet and sour or kung pao-style chicken, which isn't usually my personal preference. My husband definitely enjoyed them though, so I can see why they have such a loyal following. The black bean noodles were warm and comforting, with a nice homey feel. The sauce had good flavor, although I thought it leaned a little bland and wasn't quite as thick or rich in texture as I personally prefer. Overall, San Tung was a fun spot to finally try, especially given how much hype surrounds those wings. I'd definitely come back with a bigger group of friends so we could order more dishes and get a better feel for the menu, but I probably wouldn't come back on my own for anything in particular.
