After I told Creative Lighting what I discovered, they did pay for replacement and repair work on the appliances that were damaged. If you take short cuts and damage someone's home, it's far better to own it than making me audit the work. Builds distrust.

This task was no easy feat because there was just enough space in the truck for a whole house move. By the time they were done loading the truck, there was not a cubic foot of space to spare (I'm exaggerating ofc there was like 7 cubic feet of airspace left). Usually when that happens in my previous moves I've had to sacrifice care of items to get things to fit but these guys even properly padded the fragile items and secured furniture with straps to prevent shaking for the cross-country drive, a sign of true pro movers in my mind. They only had to make a handful of holes in the wall to access components, working primarily from the attic and the crawl space - which is a marvelous rarity given knob and tube removal. He also changed the main panel (now 200 A) and rerouted all circuits to the new panel. He and his crew were fast and cleaned up after themselves. They pulled the permit and followed through with guidance all the way through the inspection process - which went smoothly. Dominic is a straight shooter and communicates clearly.
