I wish I could give this negative stars. DO NOT USE RAYS GARAGE!!! They have worked on multiple vehicles over the last few years. I have receipts for about 15 different things they did. They did shotty work and often had to redo it multiple times. Something always went wrong or broke. I finally got fed up after thousands of dollars and multiple vehicles being out of commission for long periods of time. I got a new reliable mechanic and when he inspected the car, he found even more things that they had done incorrectly. They put parts of the engine back together incorrectly, and used old seals or do not replace the seals when they worked on 1/2 of the engine. It was so dangerous. At one point, my vehicle started spraying gasoline from under the hood and almost blew up with my family in it. I've had to pay about $4000 to fix things that Ray's Garage messed up. I have receipts and pictures. Save yourself time money and hassle. This is a terrible establishment. Rays garage does wonderful work at a fair price , they helped me when I needed my engine worked on and when I needed some of the hoses for my car fixed . They have wonderful employees with a caring attitude, they also helped me learn how to identify problems with my car in the future (1998 so my cars old) read more

I just moved into the area when my Silverado would not pass emissions. I took it to a dealership and was quoted about $10,000 for an entire engine replacement. I called my neighbor who is car crazy (lots of cars he puts in car shows) and he gave me one recommendation only. Ray's. Clutch was out on my 2017 and they fixed that. I was concerned about the front center differential. Car made the same sound that I reported to them on my way back home to California. This was a major miss. Repair guy said they drove the car for a short distance and did not notice it. I came home only to have to replace that as well. How do you miss this? Zero inspection. Even when I called on the road he suggested it was a fluid issue. Secretary apologized for the miss. I called back the next day and got nothing. Very disappointed. read more

These guys are a joke over a month ago I took my Camaro to their shop after I took it from JDP motorsports because nothing was getting done the engine has to come out I informed these guys once the insurance come over the engine needs to come out and it needs to be rebuilt. So when they realize that was not going to let them scab my car together with a bunch of used parts all of a sudden the car has to go because they don't have time for it well fuck you. The only thing that was done to the car and the engine in a month was taken the intake manifold and the head off the car so the insurance company could see that it had been hydrolocked from taking on a bunch of water. I will never recommend these guys to anybody it was one excuse after another and continuously asked me now what are we doing to this only when I would call them or show up read more

DONT GO HERE. I do NOT recommend this shop, they do not listen to what you ask to be done, incorrect diagnostics, they DONT test drive after working on your car or adding a part in. I've worked with them twice now, each time I've had to be the first contact in regards to my vehicle they were working on. Each time I've brought my vehicle in I've asked them to LOCK UP because they leave vehicles on the side of the road in a neighborhood, they have left my vehicle unattended with all of the doors unlocked both times. I brought my 2009 Suburban into Rays Auto in January and February of 2016. I had the them do a $600 repair to the engine and also asked them to replace the "Daytime" Driving light bulbs for me. They agreed for an additional charge. I authorized this and provided them with the new bulbs. After I picked up the Suburban I realized that one of the lights was still burnt out and the old bulbs that they returned to me were a different color. I immediately called Ray's and they admitted that they must have replaced the wrong bulbs and to bring it back.After further inspection I realized that both sides of my bumper had deep scratches from where they dragged the headlight housing out and let it hang while they working on it. I had just had my entire bumper cover professionally repainted last summer so I knew there were no scratches prior to these incident. When I explained this to John he spent 10-15 minutes denying that this was possible without even looking at it. He argued that "we work on $100,000+ cars here all the time" "So, We are very careful" "We could not have done that". Then after my encouragement he finally went back to the shop to look at it. When he came back out he said - "Well, it looks like we probably did that" "I don't know how this happened". "He later said - Well, if you want to fix it - I might be able to help you out a little". After a few weeks past - I brought it up again during another conversation. He then stated that "he still doesn't think they did it" and "he doesn't need my business anymore". By they way, that other conversation was why my friends car (whom I referred) was in there for the 3rd time for the same problem in 4 months and after paying Rays $1500 to fix it. Purchased a truck on 6/19/18, before purchasing the truck had Ray's garage do a diagnostic, paid 45 dollars for the diagnostic and was told the truck was in good condition. Needed new tire's and an oil change, but besides that was in good condition. I was referred there by the guy who sold me the truck, and the entire time him and the technician we're acting like good friends which I thought was strange, but based on this information, purchased the truck. The next day 6/20/18 went and attempted to get an oil change, during this had the shop do a courtesy inspection for me, imagine my surprise when I received new's the vehicle was barely safe to drive and had things that needed to be replaced immediately. Was given a 3500 dollar bill the day after getting an all clear from Ray's Garage. Called the garage, spoke to the same technician named Steve and he told me the company who told me there was damage lied and gave me the owner of Ray's garage's email. Went and got a third quote from a auto mechanic that I have known my entire life and from his was told everything the second company told me about the damage, plus more. This truck that I purchased and have driven three time's is barely safe to drive and was given a green light by Ray's garage. Have contacted the owner multiple times with no response and am getting stonewalled at the shop. NEVER go here even with the good reviews, because either they didn't look or blatantly lied to me and I'm now stuck with a 5000 dollar repair bill on a truck that I've owned less then a week. read more
